Called on a Saturday afternoon, left message and a few hours later I was scheduled on next Monday! Jeff was wonderful, what we thought was an easy fix, ended up being a bit more! Thankful it was able to be fixed in one hour!

Neighbors tree branch fell and pulled electric lines and meter off of the side of the house. American Electric was able to get a team out the same day. They repaired all the damage in a few hours.

Unbelievable service. The same day I called them they were at our home. With a major repair needed right away they took care of it super-fast! Not only did the yard look awesome but they took super care working around a very special tree we have. The price was more than fair, somebody else could have taken the opportunity to jack up the price. They did not. He came right in at the quote he gave us. Thank you, Joe and the team, for a great job!!!!!

Only a minor problem: our dogs and I are finding screws in a few areas,I do not wear shoes in the house and the dogs have found a few, and I have to retrieve them from theit mouths as they are trying to eat them.

Honestly extremely disappointed with this service. We were looking to purchase a home and the general inspector came back with a lot of electrical red flags in the generalized report. Having dealt with a lot of electrical issues before in previous homes, I wanted to get a full electrical inspection done to make sure we asked for concessions from the sellers if it was a major project. My real estate agent recommended this company and told me that he has used them on several projects before. With his recommendation and the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I called this company to do a full electrical inspection of the house and the dispatcher told me they were available to come out on July 24th.

I very clearly communicated with the dispatcher that I needed a very thorough electrical inspection and a written report stating what the issues were, and what the cost would be to fix them, as we were in a time sensitive process of going through purchasing. She waved me off and said "yeah yeah I understand". I asked to send the inspection report ahead of time to which i was given an email.

Inspection day rolls around and the Electricians show up at the house with no clue of why they are there or what the issues are. My husband is pulling up the inspection on his phone to show them the results and I get a call from the same dispatcher asking me to send the report as she never received it. I re-forwarded the report. My husband goes over with the electricians that we need an inspection and report and they seemed annoyed that they would have to provide a report with the inspection, stated that they were't "prepared to do a report". I'm confused.... why would a company offer to do an electrical inspection if they we're planning on quoting for the repairs/ fixes?

They state that there is " a lot here" and it's going to take them at least until next week to write a report. My husband is sitting in the house waiting for the electricians to finish their walkthrough and 30-40 mins goes by and he does't hear anything from them. He walks around the property to find their car just gone..... No final thoughts or feedback on what needs to be done or even a ball park idea of what its going to cost. They never told him they were done or leaving and he was just sitting there waiting for them to be done so he could return to work and they just LEFT.

I contacted the company that evening and stated that I understand they need time to write a thorough report but if they could just give us any idea to the cost of the electrical repairs I would appreciate it. I heard nothing back. We unfortunately couldn't wait to hear back from them and had to proceed forward with negotiations without any electrical information.

Tuesday, July 29th rolls around and I receive a $656 bill for the "inspection". Still ZERO correspondence, zero official report, zero estimates for the repairs.

I am extremely disappointed in this company and the level of communication. If they were too busy to provide an electrical inspection with estimates, I wish they would have just told me that when I called to book the appointment and I specifically stated thats what I needed! I would have been happy to contact another company.Disappointed overall with their lack of professionalism, communication mishaps with the office, and the sheer lack of regard for the job they were hired for.

American Electric and Jeff were very professional. Jeff came out fast and gave us an estimate to install 2 outdoor outlets. The office was very polite, and able to quickly schedule the work. Jeff was very thorough in making sure everything was done properly. We're very pleased and highly recommend using them for any electrical needs you have.

2 Guys were here 2.5 days. Nate articulated the things he worked on well and we had no problem understanding him - he mostly worked in the attic in this awful heat....and did not complain a bit!~ The only reason for 4 stars is because we should have been afforded the option of knowing the pricing in advance for any additional work: just one example that I'm pretty sure we would not have agreed to pay is "$275" for "one outlet" to be added to the new outside electical box that was put in! Jim did make some revisions to the bill, which was appreciated - but only after putting his phone in my face and telling me to look at it: he seemed knowledgeable but very immature. We did expect to have to do some cleaning but was a bit surprised at all dirty handprints on the walls....

The electricians that came out to do the work at my home were just great, very personable and professional.

I had my service upgraded and two panel boxes combined into one. The team did a great job, very neat work! It was a pretty big job but they knocked it out in under 8 hours. The technician explained the process very well, before they started and after. Not the cheapest guys out there, but not the most expensive. If you want the job done correctly and efficiently, these are you guys.

American Electric does it again! Great, timely service done by professionals! Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them for any of your electrical needs!

I knew it was going to be a good experience when the receptionist answered the phone. She was so pleasant and helpful. Communication was good with texts. Jim texted when he was on his way. He was knowledgeable and efficient. He repaired our ceiling light fixture with ease. I recommend this company.

The gentleman was very courteous and knowledgeable. Finished the job reasonably fast and very happy with the results, works well. The cost was a bit higher than I expected, but I have not had to hire anything out in many years and I think I was out of touch. But great work.

Jim, the technician from American Electric, was very knowledgeable about retrofitting my kitchen ceiling light fixture. He explained the process and was very pleasant. I’m thrilled with the work and am enjoying how much more my kitchen lighting has improved. I would highly recommend their company with any electrical issues you may have.

JTA did a fantastic job repairing my plumbing and venting problems and replaced the hot water tank. Fast and courteous! Highly recommend !!!

Had Nick and his team install 2 furnaces and duct work. He provided a same day estimate, started quickly and had a team of guys to have the job done correctly. All of his work is clean and precise. They left the working area cleaner than before they started. A+++. Definitely a great HVAC company. Would recommend them to anyone.
