Chris is an amazing professional.
He is meticulous and what he does is very professional and he does what he says, and he does it in a timely fashion.
We had an inground pool in our backyard that was a nuance and outdated and of no use whatsoever.
It was 20’ x 40‘, huge privacy fence lots and lots of concrete.
We just wanted to be able to look out our back door or stand on the deck and see a beautiful lawn.
That is exactly what we have..
He is amazing, very professional.
He filled the pool in with the pool itself and other materials.
He completely excavated our side yard and backyard, seeded it, fertilized it, and came back at least two times maybe three times and fertilized it again.

We are very pleased with his work and the results that we have.

I highly recommend Prather Properties Services.

If you're debating whether to use this company or not... LISTEN TO THE MAJORITY! DO. NOT. USE. THEM! The owner is VERY unprofessional - he is rude and I didn't even ask for anything above and beyond "normal". I simply asked for a quote - did not sign off on any work - and they just SHOWED UP out of the blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I told them that I am still getting quotes and never approved them to be there, I was basically told that I still owed them money for the quote because I DIDN'T say I didn't want the work done (what????). Rude and unprofessional. RUN AWAY!

I ordered firewood for delivery. When I called to place my order I told the person on the phone that they would have to get their truck through my gate to stack the wood. The delivery man arrived and seemed unaware of the gate. He then "measured" our gate and the front of his truck. The front of his truck was not the widest point and therefore the delivery man hit my gate taking a chunk of wood out of my gate and damaging the hinge. I left a message requesting a call back from the owner and never received a call. The delivery man damaged my property and never offered to do anything about it andI have found dead carpenter bees in my firewood. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

On March 18, at the intersection of Alamo Ave and Ridge, Jarrod Hendel of Hendel's Tree Service & Landscaping tried to go straight from the left hand turn lane and struck my son's car. He conned my son into not calling the police because he was "late for a work meeting" and would take care of him. He has refused to return the insurance phone calls as well as my sons phone calls. The insurance can't proceed with the claim until they hear back from Jarrod. My son shouldn't have to take a hit on his insurance because of an accident Jarrod Hendel caused.

We had Jarod and his team out to clear some dead trees and lots of honeysuckle from our backyard. They did a great job! When Jarod came out for an estimate, he had lots of good ideas for the yard. Was very knowledgeable. The team was easy to work with and was open to directions and suggestions during the job. We would definately use them again!

This company does not even deserve one star. They invaded my yard without permission and destroyed my yard taking down my neighbors tree. Left debris all over yard and driveway. Turned my blacktop into gravel were there chipper and bobcat was used on my property while I was at work. Had a car detailed and completely covered in dust. Busted a concrete curb. This happened 8-23-17 l have left 3 messages taking a day off work to get something resolved with no return calls.

We flip houses all over the Cincinnati area and we use several tree services in the area in which we work. They are by far the worst company we've ever dealt with. He needs to give the business back to his father. He is in over his head. Terrible with customers and their needs. Better business bureau is dragging their feet on this guy.

This company is operating under the name "Ross Mulch". When it comes to mulch, do not believe their declaration of "best in the tri-state". I ordered their "black forest" mulch. In one word: "garbage". It had large chunks of wood and rocks in it. It seems they die the mulch just before delivery. That die gets on and stains everything. Don't let it touch your concrete! Price wasn't good either. Avoid!

This crew did some work down the street from my house. They decided to use my front lawn and driveway as a turnaround for all their heavy equipment. This lead several heavy duty tire marks on my driveway and my front grass destroyed. No note or knock on door or anything else. I wouldn’t of even known they did it till I reviewed my cameras. Very unprofessional. Avoid these guys for your neighbors considerations

Have been buying firewood from Hendels for over 5 years. Alway has been good, clean hardwood never have experienced any junk wood. Great value for me!

I hired Hendel's to remove 6 tree stumps from my front yard. These stumps were small, (6 inches in diameter). Chris was unable to use a stump grinder because of the tight location of the stumps. He had to dig the stumps out by hand. Sorry, Chris...

The flower bed looks great. Can't wait to plant my peonies bulbs this fall.

When the original guy based on my understanding came to give me a quote (week late) I thought I was in good hands. Company car. Spoke well. Dressed nice. I thought I was in good hands when we spoke and he provided the proper paperwork I was looking for. (No written or signed contract. Just verbal.) was told he would be out 3 days later and they never showed. Understood based on the weather. Was told what he had. 75’ boom on the truck and that the fence didn’t need to be replaced. Also was told they would lay down wood to not make marks in the yard. Once the company got here everything changed. They also were an hour late. Hey put down plywood for the yard that clearly wasn’t what they needed and persisted to drive on my lawn. Leaving ruts that I can post if aloud. Once that happened they then realized that the owner didn’t know what he was talking about and pulled out of my yard. Took down one tree and then conned my neighbor into letting them drive in his yard where they also made ruts due to lack of proper material to drive on. Also quickly realizing that they couldn’t reach the trees like they promised they could again. After realizing that the owner/bidder didn’t state that the las tree was very rotten they then decided that it wasn’t going to be taken down unless in a truck. Which they already knew wasn’t possible. When I contacted Jarod he didn’t answer. The guy cutting the trees was talking to the cousin and those two were clearly on different pages. After an hour. My yard and the neighbors yard being messed up I decided to then again call Jarod the owner under my understanding w insisted on cussing me out telling me to not tell him to do his job. At that point in time I asked the crew to please leave since Jarod breached the verbal contract and cussed me out. At that point in time I let him know and then he insisted to tell me I don’t know the laws and try and intimidate me and force his way into my fenced in back yard. I’ve had extensive work done for Union and non union companies and I’ve never been so blatantly disrespected before. I just don’t see how you can talk to people how he did.

Very reaponsive, great communication, friendly, delivered wood same day. Good value for the price. Will order more wood from him again.

Had a bad experience 3 months ago where they were supposed to trim a tree up the property line. Missed the appointment time several days in a row then showed up unannounced. When they arrive they said they couldn’t trim up the property line but didn’t say why, I should have sent them away, but let them trim the branches above the house anyway. Talked to the owner afterwards who said he would come out and look about trimming up the property line as originally quoted. Never showed up (his phone number is incorrect on his business card). Now 3 months later they claim we haven’t paid even though they got a check day of “service” and it cleared my bank 9/3/2021. Id never recommend. UPDATE - now almost 11 months after time of service and this crook is still sending invoices saying unpaid and not returning calls. Again, we already paid and the check was already deposited. Amount matches what’s on the invoice and I have the check image from my bank account. Poor service and a attempted scam artist

Great company, any of your dump or tree service needs

Claimed they fed my tree, but didn't. Called and told them this and was disrespected on the phone. Finally agreed to feed my tree after one of their employees confirmed they did not feed my tree.
