We experienced some damage to the wall and ceiling above fireplace due to a chimney leak and wanted the wall and ceiling above repaired. We were quoted a price (which later was increased? no biggie) and a tech came out and began demo on the wall which he found was still wet so the project could not be completed at that time. We were told to reschedule the work after the chimney repair and the area was dry. After having the chimney repaired we called to reschedule the work and were given a new date to complete the project. Prior to the new repair date we were called and told the initial tech was no longer with the company so they could not repair it. $700 later and we are stuck this eyesore.

These guys are great. I was quoted between $250-$350 and I was to buy the supplies. After he finished the job I was given cost of $230 to do job. 99% of contractors would have billed me the full amount of $350. I was sold on these guys for life. The job looked great, we showed up right on time, and he left my house clean as it was when he came. I’m calling them Monday with 2 more bigger projects. Trust is everything to me!!!!!

I had filled out a request late at night, and got a call in the morning. At first they weren’t going to be able to come out until tomorrow, but once I expressed the urgency, they worked through the schedule and were able to send someone over.
Mike came out to take a look at my smoke detector and figured out one of them was malfunctioning and wasn’t syncing up with the other alarms. He installed a new detector that I had bought, resynced the system and everything is doing well so far.

We called Mr Handyman for service for the first time recently and Rick B was sent to do the work. We presented Rick with a list of 10 tasks ranging from trimming a large bush to replacing a piece of board on the house which had rot. All of the work was completed expertly, including the board piece replacement which is really critical to the appearance of the exterior of our home. We will certainly request services from Rick and Mr Handyman for future needs.

Communication from the first contact through the installation of our storm door was excellent. A name and photo of the installer was sent to us. Darrell was very pleasant and professional. He did a great job installing the new storm door. He cleaned up everything. We definitely would call on your company for future jobs that we need done! Thank you!

Darrell F is an outstanding professional. He is always respectful and thorough. He has repaired once and replaced once the kitchen disposal and has replaced the large bathtub faucet that prevented the shower from working. The first visits were in the frigid ice cold winter. The gentleman Mr handyman sent to me was named Rick. He was awesome. Replaced exhaust fans for us. Did it quickly and explained to me one issue we might have and he took care of it. Plus around the fans he put a little paint on the ceiling. Above and beyond my expectations

Your company did a great job hanging the memorial to my late father. I had trouble getting other handyman companies to even answer the phone. Mr. Handyman returned my call on Friday January 5, 2024 and a service man came out on Monday, January 8th at 1:00, got the memorial hung, and left about 1:45. They did a great job.

We hired Mr. Handyman of West Columbus to repair some drywalls and paint the repaired areas. Their office is great at scheduling and communication. Our technician Mike did an amazing job with the repair and painting. He is professional, courteous and on time with our appointments. We had a great experience using them and would like to recommend them to others who need home repair services.

Had insulation that needed to be replaced in the attic. Tight space but he was able to complete it! Was on time, called before he came to the house, and very respectful! Will use again!

Rick did a great job! Quick, efficient, and professional! He built a handrail leading from the main floor into the garage, replaced a step on the deck, and patched some bricks over the garage. 5 Stars! Would highly recommend him and Mr. Handyman of West Columbus!

I had a range hood installed. It had been sitting in a box for six months and I got tired of looking at it. I called on Monday and they were out on Thursday. Darrell was polite and did an awesome job. He cleaned up and left it spotless!

Rick did a great job! Had our gutter screen in place in no time. We definitely recommend Mr Handyman for their excellent work staff. The company, however, is pricey in my opinion so we’ll still be looking for a better deal.

Worked with us to take care of miscellaneous fixes around the house. Had been a while since we had used a handyman service, and many odd jobs piled up over time.

The agency was pleasant to work with (thanks Stephanie!) and helped us plan out all the work.

Fixes to our deck, doorframes, and kitchen drawers done at a reasonable charge.

Also want to mention that they do look out for you when you work with them - for example, for larger jobs like flooring they sent us to a flooring company that did a great job at a better price. Even for some small things Mike called us and talked us through a repair we could do on our own to save some cash, which was very much appreciated.

Overall happy with the service. Just what I needed - to have someone at my back on home repairs.
