Mike did a great job with attention to
detail on a cabinetry repair. He also repaired some vinyl siding that had detached off the house. He clearly explained what needed to be done and listened to my concerns. Great experience and I when I have some more jobs I will contact Mike at Mr Handyman again.

Quality of work is poor, very disappointed with the repair work.

Bryan from Ohio Handyman came to my house to hang up several heavy paintings and mirrors, in addition to installing a Jeep lift. He was amazing!

They failed to return my initial call AND failed to respond to my email through their own website "contact us". When I called again and did get them the person on the phone wasn't sure if they did plumbing work and said "we'll get back to you". They didn't.

This could be a great company, but unfortunately they fall short. The work they finished was very good but they took my cash then never came back to finish the other work they recommended. I have sent a text and called, but received no response.

I had some replacement work that needed to be done after experiencing a leak in my bathroom. The 2 guys that came to do the work were prompt, friendly, efficient and did good quality work. I will work with this company in the future.

Simply put: We were excited with high expectations for our projects! The end results were sloppy, careless and lacked honesty and integrity! The poor workmanship keeps on giving to us months later, to the point everything will have to be redone! We are beyond 100% dissatisfied with the work done by this company!

I couldn't have been any happier with the work they did for us. They came in and fixed mistakes that other contractors had left us. They thoroughly cleaned up after they were done. Very easy to work with. They went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! We will definitely be using them again!

Had Mike for the day to fix some things beyond my abilities before we sell the house. He was a pleasure to have around for the day, got a lot accomplished with the quality level I expected, and left me with a plan to finish the rest. I will definitely recommend Ohio Handyman to my friends and neighbors.

We have used Ohio Handyman a few times for odd jobs and they have always been great. We just had them complete a minor renovation in our basement and they were fantastic! They were great at communicating, did great work and were on schedule. Highly recommend!

We recently hired Ohio Handyman to hang a large, heavy mirror on an interior brick wall. I would have been unable to do this myself, so we decided to pay a premium price for professionals. I was happy to hire someone to help us out, and actually looking forward to learning some things along the way. I spoke with the scheduler (Renee) twice to arrange and then confirm the project, providing all details of the job to be done, and an appointment was set for about a week after that initial call. The assigned handyman (Bryan) did not show up, and a trainee (Josh) came instead due to the perceived ease of the job. Josh was friendly, but had been sent unprepared; to his credit, he reached out to his superiors three different times. Six holes in the brick later, we decided to reschedule the job for the next day with a more senior technician. Luckily, I was working from home and my significant other had both days off. We contacted the owner (Linda), who apologized and reassured us that multiple experienced workers (Bryan and co) would finish the job and that I would not pay the full rate - only a “fair price.” I was still concerned, but she handled the situation well.

The next day, Bryan again did not show up; instead, the trainee and a supervisor (Harold). I warned the senior tech that we had previously been uneven with a level and to instead follow the mortar line. This was not done, and the mirror ended up slightly crooked anyway. We had been through enough after two separate appointments and decided to just call it good. They filled all 6 prior holes after we asked them to. The “fair price” was $10 off, so we still ended up paying $70 for an imperfectly hung mirror.

Throughout the project, the attitude seemed to be just to “make it work,” not necessarily to do everything properly. Even on phone calls with the scheduler and owner of the company, we never felt fully in the loop as customers. Plans of the job were changed, technicians were different, and problems along the way were attempted to be swept under the rug; it felt fairly unprofessional and defensive from the get-go. Our job felt like a liability and not at all like a priority. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Ohio Handyman.

I wanted to have my back porch resreened and called got an appointment and was given an estimate on the work to be done. The first handyman had to reschedule due to an illness and I was rescheduled with Gary who was not able to come on the regular date due to weather conditions. He did however come to the house to evaluate the project and reschedule. When he did finally come he got right to work and worked nonstop. I was very pleased with the work and he was a perfectionist in completing the work. When I got the final bill it was significantly greater than the estimate however a phone call to office and the issue was resolved and they honored the original estimate. I was very impressed with the work done but even more so with the integrity of the company.

Ohio Handyman came out to take down and rebuild the wooden fence around my yard. While I love the way it looks, the multiple canceled appointments and unreturned phone calls was frustrating. They also used the hose without asking, broke a piece off of the reel, and did not put it away. Months after the project was done I found out the broke a part of my neighbors fence and did not fix it. She had to call them multiple times and it took them over 3 weeks to come back and fixed it.
While the product looks good and I am happy with how it turned out, the process along the way was unprofessional and frustrating.

Mike is wonderful! We’ve used Ohio Handyman for several projects both inside and outside and have been so happy with our results. Renee is really easy to work with for scheduling. We already have a list of projects in mind to have them come back for!!! Definitely would recommend them.

I spoke to Linda, the owner of Ohio Handyman, & set up work to be done at my parents' home. After explaining to her a negative experience we had with a previous handyman & the work that was done from another company, she assured me that she would send out her lead handyman, Brian, to repair a vent hood that was botched, install ceiling fans/lights, mount a television, install a laundry tub & smart switches in 2 areas. Brian completed all of this work in a day's time & the work was done very well & meticulously. Linda empathized with my concerns & she and Brian both did follow up phone calls after the work was done. I truly appreciate the hard work & integrity Ohio Handyman showed my family.

Mike and his crew from Ohio Handyman were a pleasure to work with and did phenomenal job refinishing our basement. I took multiple bids, and they were very reasonable – not absolute lowest but in-line. Mike and the team were professionals. They took pride in their work and it shows. They were on time, took safety protocols seriously and cleaned up after themselves every day before leaving for the day. Mike took our rough idea of what we wanted and made it a reality. He had some great suggestions that mad the project even better than we had had hoped. I will hire them again in the future for other jobs.
