Buck and sons placed new sod in my back yard, they were supposed to take the sod to the house, they only placed it to the back porch. They were supposed to add dirt to even out the low spots in the yard and that was only half completed. They also damaged the grass along the side of the house and only fixed part of it. They didn't respond to calls or emails requesting that they fix the low parts of the yard that now collect water and is constantly wet. I wouldn't recommend them.

We can't say enough about Buck and Sons. We hired them to do major trimming, edging, and mulching. They exceeded our expectations. First of all, they trimmed all the bushes by hand, not with electric trimmers which means they took their time, and did a beautiful job. They were really easy to interact with, and took some time in the morning to review the job with us, and be sure we were on the same page. Our yard looks amazing, and they cleaned up perfectly. When they left, I said "See you next year", because we will definitely hire them again! Thanks to a great crew! Also, I should mention that I got 3 quotes to do the job. Shane at Buck and Sons was the quickest and most responsive. The prices were similar so we hired them since they seemed the most interested. We are glad we did!

I originally asked Buck and Sons to draw up a plan for a patio. While it was a fabulous, unique design, we did go another route. I was so pleased with my initial conversations with them that I asked them to come back and design the landscape for the patio when it was finished. We used their landscape plan and were very happy with the price and work. We've had three plants that didn't make it and they responded quickly about getting replacements.
Pete Marsh was always responsive and delivered plans and estimates quickly. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

I searched for months to find someone to reconfigure some garden beds and rework a flagstone walkway. I reached out to several landscape companies before I found Buck and Sons. The other companies either didn't respond to my online inquires or would meet to discuss the project and then never follow-up. I found Buck and Sons through a google search and was initially concerned that the project may be too small for them (and I was on the other side of town). I received a prompt response to my inquiry and an initial visit was scheduled. Within two days of the visit, Jared Buck sent me a quote based on the scope of the work and budget discussed during our meeting. He made experienced suggestions and clearly had a vision for the space which I so appreciated! He gave me a realistic timeline of when I could get on the schedule. He kept me informed throughout the project and the workers were friendly and professional. The work was completed to plan and I am thrilled with the final product (just in time to enjoy for a couple more weeks before the weather turns:))!

I hired Buck & Sons in April, 2025 to edge and mulch 5 front yard trees. The company representative was responsive to my questions and concerns, flexible, and professional. The work team was pleasant and the trees looked great when they got finished. There were only 2 problems: a 3" deep cut was made for the edging and for the two mature maples a lot of dirt was scraped out to make the mulch layer lie flat and even with the turf. In the process a number of tree roots about the size of a finger were scraped of their outer covering, a few were severed, and there was a nick in the trunk. Maple trees are shallow rooted. Although these injuries won't kill the tree, they don't help it. I care about the health of my trees and I expect a landscape company to care about the health of the trees and not just their overall appearance. The other concern was that a load of dirt was taken up and although I had asked Jared to have the crew leave it they loaded into their truck and I had to stop them from taking it away. I still think they're a good company. Expensive. The two could be addressed upfront in the beginning

Buck and Sons did an amazing job cleaning out my overgrown and neglected flower beds. They even hauled away old landscaping stone and an old compost bin. They had great attention to detail. I've already had neighbors ask for their name so they can hire them.

Fantastic service and highly recommend! Jared was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. He responds very quickly and is very knowledgeable. His customer service was my first selling point in choosing Buck & Sons. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and gave us great guidance on what plants would thrive best in our yard. He also did a really nice job of keeping us comfortable with our budget.
His crew was able to complete our yard in 1 day, despite the 92° heat, digging 5 beds and planting 2 trees and 7 hydrangea plants. Everything turned out beautifully. Thank you Jared and crew!

We had an existing patio that we recently put a pergola on so we needed to repair the pavers around all our posts. 9 trees did an excellent job making this look seamless. We also had them do a full patio clean, sand and seal, and now our patio looks better than it has in years! Was quick and easy to get an estimate from and great communication throughout.

We worked with 9 Trees last year to install some landscaping, they were extremely professional, set expectations appropriately and we were very satisfied with their work.

Very poor communication. They came out and drew up a plan for paver patio and landscaping. We went with someone else for the patio but were still excited for them to do the landscaping. I asked if this would be an issue and they said no. Emailed several times after that and even called the owner, still nothing. They do not really seem too concerned with customer service.

Matt and team did a garden wall it turned out great. They were very professional. They were very clean and you could not even tell they were there except the beautiful work that they did. I would recommend them for your outdoor needs.
