A US lawns truck cut in front of me without any signal while I drove on Bancroft Road in Toledo. Another US lawns truck behind me put their high beams on as retaliation because I honked at the first truck. This was during the afternoon on a sunny day. Terrible drivers. I was considering them for a property I own. Not anymore.

We had U.S. Lawns come out to add topsoil, grade and seed our backyard. As the grass came up, there were several low spots and also several spots that were not seeded at all. We received the bill and paid half including a note to please contact us asap due to grading issues and lack of seed in spots. Months went by with out a word. Three months pass and we receive a call stating we owe them the rest of the money. But yet no word of us asking to be contacted. Somehow, our note on the invoice that was returned with the partial payment had been completely discredited. The woman that called to collect on the balance handed the phone over to a gentleman that simply wanted payment. There was no concern over the low spots, no care about the missing seed in areas. They asked for payment and were told we would send a check. Mind you, they had never sent an additional statement to us at all. Within a week, we received another phone call. Where is the money we owe them. My husband had asked how it came to be that we were never once contacted months ago when we promptly sent in half of what was due and asked for someone to please contact us. This time he was told that we had said on the bill that we think we have a problem, but we will contact you if we do. Unbelievable. I wrote on the bill myself and that was absolutely not what was written. He was then told that they could not send anyone out until the bill was paid in full. Which brings up the point of us asking to be contacted so we could pay the rest of the bill once someone checked the work that had been done. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend to any one. We have paid the bill in full. Time will tell if we are a priority and if this company stands behind their work. So far, I can say the only priority is getting paid and the work they do they do not care about. Nor do they care if a customer is not happy.

US Lawns is the best lawn service I have ever hired! They do a great job with weekly mowings, mulching, and fall and spring cleanups -- always on schedule. They have the most professional and helpful crews, too. This past summer I asked them to keep an eye out for a robin's nest on a light above my back door when they mowed my backyard. They did! And they just collected a ton of leaves in my front and backyard, and even cleaned out my gardens -- readying them for spring planting. Thanks! See you again in March/April 2022.

Horrible-zero stars. Had US Lawns out to turn on a sprinkler system and explained other companies had issues. They came out, couldn't turn the system on and billed us $70 anyways after agreeing not to unless the system was turned on, and to say they were at the house for 20 minutes would be an exaggeration. When my wife called to talk this over again the secretary and boss had her in tears. I called and was met with the same pleasant conversation. Fine-bill paid, never again.

Can't speak highly enough of these guys; they take great care our all 3 of our properties! In addition to their EXCELLENT lawn care and snow removal services; US Lawns - Toledo has greatly supported the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank in our mission to end hunger. During the winter months they provide us with a crew of their dedicated employees each week. US Lawns employees perform a variety of tasks such as: stocking shelves, cleaning, sorting food and general maintenance all at no cost to our non-profit organization. We deeply appreciate the generosity, companies like US Lawns - Toledo supporting our efforts during these unique times have made a huge difference.

We recently signed a contract with US lawns, and I am very displeased with our lawn service for our subdivision. They have killed all of the grass around the perimeter of the house because they cut it so short. They have destroyed several downspouts and have refused to return phone calls and emails asking for a solution. This is definitely not how you run a business. Do NOT sign a contract with them or you will be locked in to horrible service and unresponsive employees.

My neighbor uses US lawns in the Toledo area for some time and the crew continually blows leaves and grass under/ over my privacy fence. When I called to speak with a manager/owner Jon and let him know what his crew is responsible for he completely blew me off and gave me the run around as to how they can't control where leaves land. As a responsible and respectable owner he couldn't even apologize for the repeated incidents and offer so much as a "hey let me talk to my guys and make sure it doesn't happen again". He promptly hung up the phone. Highly discourage anyone in the toledo area from supporting irresponsible management and would encourage you to take your business and money to more caring and friendly company

US Lawns repaired my sprinkler-irrigation system leak that another company could not locate. Was able to talk to real people to schedule appt and they arrived when they said they would. Price for services was good too.

Was traveling behind one of their trucks and trailers today on Hill Avenue truck and trailer decided to come to a complete stop in the middle of the road for no reason nothing in front of them not turning no turn signal basically did a brake check on me for no reason wasn't even close then they proceeded to carry on driving down the road and other 5 miles before I had to turn off called to report the driver spoke with Tom the owner which proceeded to tell me every excuse in the book of why he possibly had to stop before he even investigated anything, I told him thank you have a good day and thank you for listening to potential customer as I was hung up on with no response.

Would love to give a NEGATIVE STAR, but unfortunately I can’t, let me start by saying we did not hire them, they were cutting the grass on a property behind us and the employee ran over a dirt mound and kicked up a large rock which shattered our sliding door. Both the employee and the supervisor knows what they did and realize it was their fault, but the owners refuse to pay. So just be very cautious if you or a neighbor hires them.

We buy our vegetable plants for our garden in May every year. Bought trees for our yard. They're very knowledgeable and help educate to ensure you succeed. Learned they had fresh grown strawberries and you can pick your own!! They were awesome!!

Such a super cute place with a variety of plants and gift items. The coffee shop inside is a bonus... highly recommend!

Favorite greenhouse in the area and I always end up impulse buying because there’s so many lovely indoor plants available. I usually grab a bunch of the $1.99 plumosa asparagus ferns they have but I have yet to see them this year!

Love the selection and quality here, and awesome staff. I've purchased perennials, annuals, bulbs, herbs, succulents and shrubs, all with great success. This year we got a living Christmas tree and greenery too. Great place for advice, and they have homegrown veggies and fruit (some you can pick your own). Lots of goodies every season!

We recently moved to the area and were looking for a garden center and nursery to help us spruce up the yard. We heard about Hoen’s and decided to check it out....we found our nursery. What a great place! Huge selection of great looking plants and everything else we needed. And when we needed help picking out what plants would look good together, Teresa, who happened to be one of the owners, stopped what she was doing and took the time to help us get just the right combination of plants. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. You’ve got to check them out!

Highest quality greenhouse, with “In Town” location. Extremely knowledgeable. Plants are strong and healthy. Extremely large selection of unusual and usual varieties. Excellent Fall items too! The staff is always eager to help you find what your looking for and create a magical Fall shopping trip. Do yourself a favor and go there and stroll the greenhouse for a relaxing and revitalizing experience.

What a beautiful nursery! The associates there were helpful and kind. I found my strawberry 🍓 hydrangeas tree that I was looking for. I did not know what kind of treat it actually was and the associate figured it out for me. I really appreciate the help. I will be coming back.

Love Hoens greenhouse, every year I get my annuals from there and they are beautiful. Also amazing customer service and very knowledgeable staff.

A big shout out to Theresa Hoen and the wonderful, kind staff at Hoen's. Thank you in particular to Lucy who loaded my purchases in my SUV and even made sure that my walker was placed where I could reach it. The kindness was beyond normal. I have been a customer for many years and never have been disappointed with the plants. flowers and the service. Beautiful calming place to enjoy seeing all the healthy plants, shrubs, trees, etc.
