We can’t recommend Steve and his team enough! After a major storm hit one of our rental properties in Toledo, a large tree fell in the backyard. We’re based out of state (Rhode Island), so getting quick help was critical. Out of all the tree removal services we called, Steve was the only one who responded within minutes — and not only that, he had a team out to inspect the same day.

I had one large silver maple rotted by ants that needed removed. I shopped around with several companies and all of them quoted me competively. However, Steves was the best price and could get me seen in the shortest wait. They are the fastest and most efficient tree service possible. Steve responded to our request for a quote and explanation of services immediately. He made a few trips out to engage with neighbors who were also affected with the trees that fell and needed to be removed. His team showed promptly and completed a big job with great efficiency. As a volunteer representative for my Home Owners Group, (HOA), I offered to shop for a tree removal company that I would trust in removing a cotton wood tree that was about five to six foot in diameter and likely 30-40 foot tall. I had contacted seven local companies that had an internet presence. That is where Steve's professionalism started. They are prompt, courteous, and professional. They made it out within the projected time when we got all the necessary signatures on the contract completed. When they came, they had an incredible huge amount of pristine equipment and a professional group of about six efficient crew. What also impressed me was impeccable use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and the stellar safety protocols utilized. That massive tree was gone in around five hours, and the area immaculate after completion. Steve's was about $10,000 less than the highest bid, and $2500-$3000 less than the other estimates. I was so impressed I requested several of their business cards to share with family and friends.

Steve’s Tree Service was referred to me by my insurance agent - so from a trustworthy source. He has completed two separate jobs for me including tree removal, limb removals and tree pruning. Reasonably priced and processes the contract with great detail including price and plan - specifying even which equipment he plans to use. This was very much appreciated after receiving estimates from other companies who provided either a broad estimate aka anticipated hidden fees or would add various unclear fees (e.g., paper processing, gasoline fees). He met with me to review the requested work prior to finalizing the contract and we reviewed/confirmed the job on date of service. Very personable. This was, again, different from other companies who would provide a broad time for an estimate and arrive randomly at the property without meeting with me for review.

Steve communicates very efficiently and thoroughly, very knowledgeable about the business, and provides near exact timeline of anticipated completion. I thoroughly trust him, his crew in their work and would absolutely consult him again.

Steve’s Tree Service recently completed tree pruning, tree removal, and stump grinding at my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. They were reliable, affordable, and very accurate in explaining exactly what work would be done before they started.

The job was completed in a timely manner, and their communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Everything was handled professionally, and the results exceeded my expectations.
