Overpriced for terrible work. To charge an elderly couple $3000 to trim and thin out a medium and small maple tree is absolutely ridiculous. And to have a bucket truck and still leave a bunch of hazardous dead limbs in the tree is far from professional. You left limbs about a foot above the service wire going to the house also. And your bucket operator can’t even leave proper collars on his cuts, which will lead to rotting. You should be ashamed of yourself for price gouging a couple who is in their 80s, customer beware PLEASE get multiple estimates before agreeing to let this guy do any work for you. He isn’t even a certified arborist. This is what happens when you let landscapers touch your trees folks.

These guys really know what they are doing! True professionals with a great work ethic, a vision for making things look wonderful, and the ability to really listen to, and follow through on, what a customer wants. You will never be disappointed in their services, follow through, or friendliness. Excellent all around!!

I emailed them once to ask about having some trees trimmed, but got no response. Contacted them a second time a week later, and still no reply. I understand you might be busy with other jobs, but how about a quick reply to let your customers know?

We had a large tree removed from our backyard. John’s did a great job, on time, fair price, no issues!

They did a great job for us last summer. We had them out a second time because they did such a nice job opening up one side of the property. We had about 18 or 20 trees in total removed and would use them again.

Today I had a true act of kindness and above and beyond professionalism. I had missed that today was our mulch delivery date. The driver (Nicky) moved my vehicles for me as I had just had surgery and completed the drop off with a smile . Now that’s service !

John's Tree Service was prompt with returning calls, providing a quote, and completing the quoted job. Four trees were removed from our property last summer. We were very happy with the customer service experience as well as the overall final product.

I ordered mulch from SMF Athletic Booster Club and John's Tree Service delivered it promptly the morning of my scheduled day. Rob, who was extremely friendly, dropped it precisely in the spot that I had marked off the edge of the driveway. I plan to call them when I need tree work done this fall/winter.

Rob and his team just completed the job here removing a large limb, from a neighbor’s tree, off our patio roof. I have to tell you that they are an excellent team and they did an excellent job and completed with a great cleanup as well. They pointed out some dangers of the remaining tree (which I will pass on to my neighbor) and will refer your Company to my neighbor. Thank you again for your quick response; you have a great team.

John and his team did a great job on trimming our maple trees and clearing out our back island from years of over growth. Highly Recommend.

Requested to have a very tall tree brought down and to have the team simply leave it in my yard as i would cut and stack it myself. I came home to find that not only did they bring the tree down cleanly, but decided instead of leaving it as is, they went the extra mile to trim the pieces and stack them neatly along my fence leaving little to no debris in the yard. They are greatly and fairly priced for the size of that tree, and they did beyond a great job. Thank you!

John’s did the best with delivering topsoil. They were able to get the soil delivered exactly where I needed and rather quickly!

The quality of the soil exceeded my expectations; it flows nicely and is dark with lots of visible leaf humus. By the way, I would really recommend asking for their in-house leaf humus to be added.

Im really excited to use them for future projects also!

John’s crew took down several trees for us and trimmed branches that were too close to the house. We started with a walk through because it’s a larger wooded lot. John knows his trees! The crew did a terrific job - some of the work was close to the house and/or electrical lines, but they clearly had it all dialed in. They ground the stumps and cleaned up the yard afterward leaving it soooooo much better than before.

This is our second time using John's, and there is a reason for that! Josh and his crew were awesome in handling everything that was needed quickly, cleanly, and without issue. Every request during the course of the job we made, was handled professionally and willingly. Thanks again to Josh and the crew, great work!

We used John's Tree Services for two projects now, tree removal last year and tree trimming this year. The tree removal last year was great. The crew cut the tree down into logs and stacked them neatly behind our fence. With our tree trimming this year we were not pleased with the work the first crew performed. I contacted John's and that same day a member of management came out to assess the work. He apologized profusely for the work that was performed and told me he'd get another crew out to make my tree "look perfect". Four days later the second crew came out and we are so impressed with the work. For this level of customer service, professionalism and commitment to quality, John's Tree Services will be the first company I contact for a quote if I ever need work performed again and the first I recommend to anyone needing these services.

We had John’s tree service come out to remove a tree and clean up many others that were unruly and overgrown. Josh and his crew were wonderful! They listened to us and checked in to make sure we were happy with how things were going through the entire process! They went above and beyond!
