If you used Servpro and they billed your insurance company, please ask to see the final bill. They billed my insurance company for time that the dryers were NOT in my home. When I asked them about it, they said the bill was NON-NEGOTIABLE. I would not ever recommend using them. Never. I'd rather do it all myself than ever deal with them again.

SERVPRO was very responsive when our bathroom, foyer and basement flooded. They came in, assessed the situation, and informed us every step of the way. They were highly professional! They worked quickly and professionally.

The majority of the money they make is from the run time of their machines in your home. So, they ran their machines over a full weekend, only to come in and say it still wasn't dry enough. On Monday, they FINALLY cut the bottom of the drywall out (like they should have in the first place), so it would finally dry out. And still, the machines stayed in longer than needed.

Then, they hound you for payment and aren't responsive to your insurance agents. Overall, just a poor, poor experience. They only care about making as much money as they can.

ServPro of Northern Summit County came to the rescue and did a fantastic job!
BJ was our main reconstruction worker. He went above and beyond. He was meticulous with his work, very respectful and answered all our questions. He was prompt and always kept us updated on what was happening. Dealing with Michele in the Reconstruction office was very nice and always helpful. It's so nice having a functioning kitchen again! Thanks to everyone at ServPro. 5 stars, indeed!

In 2019, my dad had a pinhole leak in his hot water tank that caused a considerable amount of hot water to spray in the basement for at least two days. A first call to ServPro put us at ease as they were onsite within 2 hours. Unfortunately the damage had already started mold to appear and the team once again calmed the nerves of an 80 year old man.

Every step of the way, they spoke to him with calm and patience even when he asked so many questions.

We are forever grateful for their professionalism and kindness, not to mention the incredible mitigation services!!

I love giving recognition when it's well deserved, and Servpro of Northern Summit County exceeded my expectations. During the August 8th rains, my basement experienced water damage while I was out of the country, and I had no idea what had happened. When I returned, I found wet carpet and thought a few humidifiers and a cleaning would solve the problem—boy, was I wrong! The basement had a slight odor, so I decided to call Servpro. Within four days, they were working on my basement, removing the carpet, cleaning the furniture, tearing out the drywall down to the studs, and running fans and other equipment for several days to dry out the water and humidity.

Matt and his team were professional, hardworking, and kept my wife and me informed throughout the entire process. Being in construction myself—owning The Third Estimate, a company that handles roofing, siding, and windows but not water mitigation—I know what good crews and a well-run company look like. Servpro of Northern Summit County is exactly that.

While I hope my basement never floods again, if it does, I know who I'll call. In the meantime, if anyone asks me or one of my customers about water damage, I will definitely recommend Servpro. Thanks again!

I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Servpro's construction team. Our project was completed in the expected time frame and the final product is great.
In particular, Stewart the lead on the project was awesome! Not only is he excellent at all aspects of the work, but also conscientious, a planner and very communicative (including offering advise on options as they arise during the project).
For any future project we would not hesitate to use Servpro again and would request that Stewart work on it if he's available.

We are so happy that we contacted Servpro of Northern Summit County. Fortunately this is the first time we needed services of this type. We had flood damage and from the beginning Chad and his mitigation team were fast, respectful, efficient, and most importantly were patient with me in understanding each phase. Chad knew we would like to save our basement carpet if possible and did his best to do so even though it took more time. They cleaned our air ducts (Brandon) and cleaned our basement carpet (Michelle & Hanna) thoroughly. Unfortunately we had to have all of our wood flooring replaced in our first floor and we used Servpro for our restoration too. Laura and Michelle Allen were so helpful in guiding me through the next steps. Paul in construction operations was very helpful and responsive with all of my questions even though he is very busy. Ben and Adam (Stu and Anthony too) fixed and replaced all of our flooring in our first floor. They did an excellent job and we can honestly say it looks like it never happened. I tried to mention as many people individually because when people are friendly, courteous, and have attention to detail, they deserve to be recognized. Servpro showed up the day I called to help after a washer hose leak that got into my floor and walls. They were fast workers and kept me informed as they dried out my damaged areas. They also worked directly with my insurance to pay the immediate costs, and will make an estimate to restore the damaged areas. I would never use anybody else for water damage !
