It has been a cold winter, and my weather main froze, either on my side or the cities side. The city came out and told me they could not help, I had to get a plumber. So I called this outfit, and he wanted to charge me just to come out and tell me a line was frozen. So I called another plumber, the competitor came out, could not help, but he did not charge me for it. I had a line underground that is frozen, how can you try to charge me to look at it? You cannot see a 3/4 line that is 5-10 feet underground. I have had issues with this plumber in the past also.

After the subzero weather hit, a pipe froze & burst causing a lot of water damage to our finished basement. They arrived promptly and were very friendly, assessed the problem & fixed it all within a few hours. We will be sure to recommend them to our neighbors and family.

Independence Plumbing did a fabolous job on my faucet install. I love my new Kohler Forte faucet. Steve and Lindsey did a great job installing it and their customer service is so good! thaks for calling me before you have arrived. Steve is also a commercial licensed plumber and electrician!

Independence Plumbing responded promptly when I needed them. I had a burst pipe in my office during the deep freeze of January 2014. Water everywhere. They were the only ones that had an emergency response to help me get the repairs done so I could get back to business. I want to thank them for their professionalism and help in my time of need.

Steve got to our house within about 25 minutes of being called. We had a burst pipe in our (thankfully) unfinished basement that was quickly creating a large mess. Steve is a bit rough around the edges, be prepared for colorful language (though to be fair I was doing a lot of swearing first) and some extremely direct or potentially unsolicited advice and communication.

It's coming from a good place but if you're not ready for it, it'll take you by surprise. That said I never doubted that he wanted to do great work and ensure that we were going to be in good shape. Just a bit of a gruff communication style. Assuming the work holds up we'll be calling them again next time we need something worked on.

Independence came out and snaked my kitchen sink. It was clogged pretty badly. It drains much faster now! I appreciate their professionalism and willingness in fixing the drain on such short notice.

I would recommend them to any of my friends who have a plumbing problem in the future.

Great company. Steve was able to come out, last minute on a Sunday afternoon to take care of a clogged drain in the basement. Made short work of the problem, it was fixed and cleaned up in no time at all. Even gave some advice for future repairs. I would highly recommend Independence Plumbing.

Called last week late Saturday evening with a plumbing emergency. No one answered the phone. They called me back. Guy who calls was very rude like I was bothering him. Told him my issue, he shouted a bunch of directions at me said he wasn't coming out that night and I had to wait until Monday while my bathroom leaked water and the main shut off valve wasn't working. I said I thought this was a 24/7 company? Why even call me back? Thanks but no thanks. Had to call someone else

TOP CLASS SERVICE!!! It was snowing like crazy and my hot water heater went out. I called another plumbing company and after waiting 3 hrs the guy never showed up. I called Steve and he was at my door within 30 minutes. He was friendly and efficient with his work. He had all the equipment needed to install a new water heater. Steve even waited around to make sure everything was working properly. As a father of 2 young kids (ages 5 and 1), Steve's willingness to show up and show out is greatly appreciated.

We've had them come out twice now to take of a clog and we are scheduling a toilet replacement. This guy is very knowledgeable, does a nice job, and offers a lot of advice. He also helped us out with our leaky dishwasher. I'll call him any time time I need a plumber!

Had an appointment scheduled for 2pm, at 4pm after no contact from the business finally got ahold of them. Business stated they had several emergencies pop up, and could not even commit to coming out the next day. Appreciated the honesty when the woman told me I should consider finding a different plumber, but wow was I blown away in a negative way.

I'm the customer that Jenifer Bemis claimed fired her because of something Steve said. This is totally untrue. Steve did her and me a favor after her plumber got to busy. He did not say her fixtures were cheap! The only thing he ever said was that there was a very small defect in the sink. He did this to protect himself. He did a very nice job on very short notice and her review was a cheap shot. By-the -way I never fired her, I just decided not to use her in the future for reasons having nothing to due with Independence plumbing

Independence Plumbing is an excellent Father and Daughter company that really works to meet all of your commercial or residential needs. Steve and Lindsey have a relationship that separates them from their competition because they understand each other's strengths and weaknesses which allows them to be extremely efficient and diligent with your time. I called Independence Plumbing, out of the blue, around 12:30PM today, praying that I could find a company that could come in asap to get our toilets installed before the end of the day. Lindsey and Steve showed up an hour later and were finished with the job (while providing invaluable advice regarding suggestions for parts, stores to purchase from, and important self-knowledge for future small jobs we can do on our own) an hour and a half later! In this time, they also managed to fix our three other toilets that we didn't even know were usable! And they did that for nothing! Now, we have a $20,000 bathroom that is fully running and before we didn't know it could be used at all! Perhaps most importantly, Steve and Lindsey are incredibly good people that are just out to help anyone they can and provide them with trustworthy advice and very reasonable prices. It was nice to have a company that can come in and do the work you ask them to do efficiently while being friendly enough to hold casual conversations. The experience they have is unmatched and the experience the MIDWEST PELICANS had was nothing short of enjoyable and relieving.

Independence Plumbing is a great business. I had a leaking main line valve and instead of them charging me to come out, Steve gave me direction on how to stop the leak until I could get them out to repair it. I definitely recommend their organization for all your plumbing needs. They get 5 stars and then some. Thanks Steve

Steve did a wonderful job! Came out promptly to help out with a gas line issue, on a Saturday afternoon. Got our new gas oven installed safely. Will definitely use their services in the future, and highly recommend to others.
