Reviews of local pros in Mason, Ohio

We were totally pleased with Degree Lawn and Landscape's work on our yard. They trimmed bushes, planted new ground cover, edged our beds, dressed the beds with mulch, transplanted plants, and removed dead holly. They were very professional, efficient, and accommodated our requests, We felt that we received quality work at a good value.

Great company, friendly staff and crews, very professional. I've used both Degree for residential services and business services. Both have been really great. There were some issues on the residential side early on with area of the yard not getting mowed, but Jason helped to get those resolved quickly. When it comes to mulching, there are definitely some crews that are better than others, so as long as you do a good lookover before calling it complete, then you should be fine.

Degree Lawn has been an efficient and reliable way to get good lawn care. I have used spring clean up and fall trimming and clean up. It was all good but a little high priced for me. I have no complaints however I do wish they would remove fallen branches as they come across them. Overall, I am satisfied.

Very professional. On time as promised. Had a small landscape project completed, spring cleanup and mulching, and also have weekly lawn cutting. Very pleased with Degree.

First of all, It starts with Rocky who has designed out landscaping beds and stays in touch to help us determine the work we need. Then there is Jennifer, who answers the phone and helps us with any information or requests that we need. The ground crew is great. They are friendly and stop to talk with either my wife or myself. They have asked how are they doing. They do a great job, the grass is cut, trimmed and it looks great. They will ask if there is anything else they can do. I have recommended them to my neighbors and friends.

Lawn care & Landscaping are only part of the reason for the high praise and appreciation we have for Degree and their staff as while the services they have provided are excellent, including planning, installation, and very prompt follow-up, in our experience their friendly and responsive customer service stands them well apart and significantly above everyone else we have experienced in this business. We are truly delighted to recommend Degree to our friends and neighbors as well as our homeowners association.

Jason with Degree Landscaping came highly recommended by a coworker who had previously worked with him. We consulted with Jason about landscaping and lighting around our pool and backyard. We weren’t sure what we wanted but Jason was super helpful in giving us ideas about what would work with our space and was upfront about things that wouldn’t work. I knew he was going to do a great job but the end result was absolutely amazing! We were so impressed with the Jason, Johnny and the entire crew. They turned our backyard into an oasis.

I would highly recommend Degree to anyone looking for quality landscaping. We can’t thank you enough for everything!

Dave and team were absolutely amazing! I’m selling my home and needed the entire perimeter of my house weeded and mulched. This was a huge undertaking as I haven’t paid much attention to my yard In a few years. They also installed sod in some bare areas of my yard. The attention to detail was on point. They worked fast and efficiently. Dave always responded to my text quickly and answered any questions or concerns I had. Not only that but the cost was very reasonable! He made this process so easy and painless. Cant say enough good things about their work at degree lawn and Landscape. Thank you! My home is now ready for sale!

Great cut & edge job. After skipping a week of mowing due to being overly wet (per my request) the team made sure to mow over the yard twice on the next week’s cut to prevent the excess grass from sitting on the lawn. Jennifer & Jack make sure that their customers are provided the best service possible.

Degree has been maintaining our yard for six years. They do a great job. I have had them do additional hardscape and planting work around the house. They have knowledgeable sales representatives that will come to your house and provide suggestions for your projects.

They did an excellent job removing 10 overgrown shrubs from my front yard, adding dirt and grading. Showed up on time. Worked hard. Left the site clean.

Degree Lawn/Landscape provides prompt service, excellent implementation and their personnel are so easy and enjoyable to work with to complete a project. I would highly recommend using Degree for your landscape needs.

Degree Lawn & Landscape has taken care of my lawn for about 6 years now. I always know when to expect them and if I need other items like mulch or hedge removal they are definitely the ones to call. They have excellent service and always respond to calls or inquiry’s. Thanks Degree for your top notch service!

I've had an annual service contract with Degree for years. As usual, they did a wonderful job with my Spring Clean-up, which included: weeding, trimming, mulching, edging, installing new weed barrier, and removing several shrubs. The crew is always very polite, efficient, and clean up after themselves.

Outstanding work & service!! ! We have used Degree for our lawncare and landscaping for 15+ years and the service, responsiveness and incredible job they do is second to none! We can always email or call Jennifer with any requests or questions and she gets back to us ASAP, and Rocky and his teams that perform the work are so professional and do amazing work. There are not many service companies these days where you actually get great service and feel valued as with Degree- highly recommended!!!!

I love dealing with Degree. They are so caring and helpful with all landscape needs. They go over and beyond what they have to do. They respond to all your questions in a timely manner. They actually did several things over the years for us. We started doing lawn service with Jack when he first started out many years ago. Whenever I have a landscape need I always call Degree. You will never be disappointed with them. Very professional workers. Very professional work.

We hired Degree Lawn & Landscape to replace some unhealthy shrubs in front of our house. Jason did an excellent job of incorporating new plants with our existing healthy plants. The installation was completed on schedule, the team arrived on time and cleaned all the spaces where they worked. Jason came back the next morning to inspect the job and even made some adjustments to ensure the project was just right. We would certainly hire Degree Lawn & Landscape again for future projects.

I was very pleased with recent tree removal service by Degree. I was able to submit pictures of the already dead trees that needed to be removed, eliminating the need for an extra appointment. I found their quote to be very reasonable. Rocky visited my home a few days prior to the work being done in order to have a firsthand understanding of what would be needed and my preferences. The workers arrived on time the day of the appointment and were quick, professional, and cleaned up very well after themselves. I would recommend Degree to anyone for their lawn care needs, and will not hesitate to use them in the future as needed!

Good work being performed by Degree. This is my first year that I have used Degree for my home. After some start up challenges Degree has performed exceptionally.
Jason and his team are easy to work with.
