Reviews of local pros in Maumee, Ohio

We had a fantastic experience with Merit Plumbing. Their technician was extremely professional, polite, and thorough. Absolutely fantastic. He walked us through all of our options on how to move forward with our issues, and he explained everything in a way that someone like me, with no plumbing knowledge or expertise, could understand. I’d give these folks 10 stars out of 5 if I could.

A Huge Thanks to Jeff for scheduling Larry and Dylan to replace my sump pump. The nicest and most helpful men to explain things I need to know as a single woman. The entire job was finished within an hour and Merit Plumbing was prompt to take care of my needs. Forever Grateful for great service and kindness!

Cody came out and fixed one problem and gave us an estimate on another. He was friendly, instructive and highly professional. He told me what he planned to do and the price, which was fair. I thought of something adjacent that should probably also be done, and when I mentioned it, he held up the part he had already pulled from the truck. Thanks Cody and Merit!

We had a competitor out to help with a couple of things we needed done in the house and they wanted to look under the house and gave us some suggestions and pricing. We then decided to call Merit Plumbing for a second opinion. We are so glad we did. We called and they came out the next day and looked over our drains under the house. They suggested the same thing as their competitor, but at a much more reasonable price. Larry, Dylan, and Cash were extremely professional and worked extremely hard on the drains and let us know that we were probably going to need to update our water lines too before we had a bigger issue after a small mishap. They were also extremely helpful in letting us know what could happen if we waited too long in updating the lines that were rusting through. After finishing up the water lines for us, they installed a new gas line for us.

We can't recommend Merit Plumbing enough. Great local company with wonderful people! They will always be our first call!

What a fantastic company. They came out the same day we called. Cody was wonderful. Friendly, polite, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely use Merit Plumbing in the future.

Cody came out today earlier than we expected😁 to put in a new sump pump and battery backup.
What a nice guy. We thoroughly enjoyed having him here and he went above and beyond asking if we would like him to bring the old battery upstairs.
I highly recommend Merit Plumbing. Cody we thank you!!!

Larry, Craig and Cash are all amazing! Every time we call Merit we get outstanding friendly professional service. Shout out to Amy too she’s behind the scenes handling the scheduling. Will never use anyone but Merit! Thank you so much!

A great company! Thanks Jeff and Amy for sending out Larry and Cash to complete a shower valve replacement on our bathroom remodel. I always know I’m getting professionals when I use Merit Plumbing. Thanks again for the great work!

After an initial mixup while trying to schedule an estimate for Maumee sewer work, Jeff from Merit personally called me and resolved the situation.

Five stars for Merritt Plumbing Toledo, Ohio for following through and making sure the Backflow Preventer in my villa was finally replaced! The Dispatcher Amy and the Mechanic Brian did a wonderful job. They always stayed in contact with me unlike the Real Estate Company that owns the property.

Merit Plumbing does a wonderful job once again. This time the team of Larry and his apprentice, Katie, did a wonderful job. Larry with his years of experience was very informative and efficient. Katie, bless her heart, maneuvered through pretty tight spaces in the crawl space and attic to assess and get the job done. Thank you Merit Plumbing and Local 50 for sending these two my way. I totally recommend Merit.

We needed a kitchen sink drain redone without damaging our new cabinets and drywall.

Larry and Katie provided fast and friendly service, ensuring our questions were answered along the way.

They did a fantastic job with the work and I would happily use Merit again.

I greatly appreciated the professionalism of everyone at Merit, from Aimee who took my initial call to Cody and Dylan who came out to the house. All were polite, kind and knowledgeable. Cody went above and beyond, explaining everything in understandable details and making sure everything was finished to his professional satisfaction.

Cody came out on a Saturday and capped a broken pipe so we could have water service over the weekend. He was very professional and finished the job quickly.

Fast service and great pricing. Called before they headed my way, kept me informed every step of the way and were very respectful of my house. Will use again and highly recommend
