They installed my sliding glass door and screen door in the rear of my home. The door has trouble locking as well as the sliding screen door. When they removed the molding, there were some spots where it had cracked and they never replaced it. They left nail holes visible and the caulk that they sealed the door with has drips and is poorly done.
I called the person who sold us the door to see if we could get a service call to fix the issues. He never attempted to set an appointment up. The salesman just said he would get back to us.
A week later, the company called to ask us how the installation went. I explained to them the issues and sent pictures. They said that they would escalate the issue and I would hear back with 24 business hours which never happened.
The following Thursday, I called them and told them that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB unless they resolve the issue. They asked that I give them 24-48 hours. I still haven’t heard anything.
I’m very disappointed in customer service and installation. I’m hoping that the BBB will help me resolve this issue. -
I wish I could give negative stars. The only person who was worth anything was the salesman. Also the shingles they are trying to pass off on everyone that they say are especially made for them and have a special lightweight metal backing, you can get at Menards for 36.00.
We had our roof installed and they won't call us back or fix what they did. They contract out to other people, ours didn't even speak English.
When they came to do our roof while tearing it down they threw the old roof off and hit my car, I have pictures. We never had the mandatory walk around with the contractor. Nor did we ever get our permit. The first day we get a call that that another $3,000 to $5,000 needs to be added because of the joint between the rafters and the joint by the fireplace needs to be reinforced. Jason the GM said that he would eat the cost but since they had already taken the roof off the county inspector's would never let it pass inspection.
It took 4 days to get contractors back out to finish our job. They also never cleaned up any of the nails that were all over the drive way, I walked right behind their guy and I picked up a bag a day (4 days) of nails (store plastic bag). They were taking about a 1/4 of the materials from our job and putting it into their pick up truck and leaving and coming back empty, we found out that the crew had another job across town that was not a 1-800-hansons job that the customers were paying this to them.
They ripped down from our house a landline telephone wire and never let us know. They never put any of the 10 vents on our roof, nor was any permit ever pulled on our roof. And throw out a bunch of full bundles of shingles, 10 vents (they never used. No vents on my roof), and wood and about 1/4 more of roofing materials. We had our finance company not pay them since we didn't sign anything that the job was complete. I can pick up 3 layers of shingles and when it rains I know for a fact it will leak, (I was a certified chimney sweep so I do know what to look for). The chase cover is all bent up and not attached. You can see light in the attic in a number of places. Only after the finance company put a stop per our request did we ever hear back from Hansons.
After a while they did come out Jason the GM of Jobs, another contractor who at least understood what were needed done and could talk with us. The communication between the people who work there and with the customer is a the worst joke.
The other contractor did place 6 vents on our roof, along with the crickets that both chimneys were to have and said that the first contractors completely ruined our seamless gutters when they pried them off and the drip edge is not long enough. He said he would be in contact with Jason when he got back and Jason should be calling us soon to get this fixed.
Well, fast forward two weeks, again it was the finance company who contacted us and we told them what was wrong and that again we have no problem paying them but this is going on way too long and we have been treated like we are stupid, been bullied, and threatened now because we will settle but not for the almost $20,000.00 that they wanted due to the fact that the aggravation and frustration of dealing with these people. We do NOT want them back on our ROOF. It is going to cost at least $5,000.00 for the seamless gutters that need to be replaced. And our chase cover is all bent up and needs to be replaced.
Now they are trying to get a mechanics lien saying they do not expect to get paid, we are willing to pay them but not the full amount as they did not do the job that was promised or even the expected expectation of a professional roofing job.
I posted some of the pictures I have from this nightmare of an installation that was supposed to be done professionally and for the price should have been perfect. -
At first everything was going great, then things went downhill quickly. From the initial signing of paperwork the price went up dramatically. Then the window installers come and just open every door in the house without giving us time to put our dog and cat in a safe place. Then the window install was mostly finished. Then we had the door installer come and take days longer than was originally scheduled. Then we tried to schedule for someone to come back and finish caulking around windows and finish the door install and had to be rescheduled 5 times with varying excuses. Getting from the office, "well I'm not sure what the last person told you, but this is the excuse for thus week." To top it all off we now have to continue to deal with a company that does not take customer time into consideration when scheduling for the future of our windows and doors. Would not recommend.

My parents had the roof done and all windows completed. Roof needed follow up repairs due to leaking and they have now had three windows fail. Her mother called them out to fix the first window that went bad and they told her it was just sun damage. Now there is water condensation inside so clearly not sun damage. The third window spontaneously cracked recently.
The roofers left the dumpster in the driveway for almost 2 months because they were subcontracted and then stiffed the dumpster company.
We have requested repair of the windows again and depending on the response I will update this review. But three failed Windows and a fail in the roof makes me never want to use them again, that's for sure.. makes me never want to use them again, that's for sure. -
As a Retired Contractor I was hesitant to allow someone else to do my roof. However, I was very impressed by the work ethic and quality of work that the Toledo Crew performed on my home. This was even noticed by my neighbors. And the cost was very competitive to the other bids I recieved. Would definitely recommend Hanson Toledo Roofing Crew.

Hunter was a wonderful sales associate! Very personable and straight forward. We got a very good quote for the amount of windows needed replaced (40+). Highly recommend!

Hansons just finished installing our new windows and crew was awesome! They were on time and worked pretty much the entirety of an 11 hour day! They cleaned up any mess they made and worked so well together that it made the installation process seamless. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

We are so pleased we went with Hanson’s to install our new walk in shower. Beautiful job!
The installation crew,Nathan and Chad, worked well together as a team and respected our property. All mess was cleaned up. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend Hanson’s. -
Warranty department and scheduling is terrible. For over a year I have been trying to get a bowed front room widow fix and another window in a bedroom that is full of mold between the panes of glass. They call and schedule a date and then change it, not show up, not have the right crew or the wrong parts or the replacement glass is broken. This started in March 2025 and it is now March 2026.

Our window project is currently being inspected due to shoddy craftsmanship and terrible installation. Windows are scratched, dented, gaps in corners, wrong sized, poor caulk work, damaged trim, I could go on and on and have 2 dozen photos to show it. Then to top it off we were billed our full project amount without my approval, before any remediation actions took place. Zero confidence right now that this project will be corrected and our “new” windows will actually look new.

I contacted Hansons in regard to my windows, roofing and exterior doors. I had the pleasure of working with Travis who was professional, informative, and honestly made this large purchase way less stressful for me. Definitely recommend the Hanson's team.

The actual work was done quickly in one day and looks nice. The main issue was beginning the process in early December and the sales man verified it could be completed before Christmas of 2025. The roof was just finished the end of Feb 2026. So we dealt with insurance issues during this time thanks to all the setbacks.

The installation crew did an outstanding job in getting our siding applied to the house and our garage. After the external insulation procedure the composite siding and trimwork was expertly applied to our house. After the job was done, the crew picked up every trace of evidence that they had even been here. I would recommend Hansen’s to anyone who wishes to have an expert installation of a high-quality product to their home. We should’ve done this years ago. We can already tell our heating is more efficient. we want to give an extra thumbs up to the crew and two Miguel for being so responsive during this installation time.

I have just had my windows installed. I love the bay window! So far the windows all work great and I have no complaints about the quality. Outside of a few issues with the installation, which are quickly being dealt with, I am happy with the process.

Very Good Service and Service advisor was very professional. We chose Hansons because of their warranty. This is our second large purchase we had a roof put on 11 years ago. Highly recommend their products to people who don't have a guy.

We had Matthew come out today to take a look at some of our windows for replacement. He was thorough in his explanation of everything, showed us samples and a demonstration of their products. He was personable, kind, and considerate. Love that this company does not apply pressure on the customer for sales.

Moe from Good Guys Roofing came out and did an inspection of my roof. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to identify the issue I was having with my roof and helped fix it!

We had a great experience with Good Guys Roofing. I highly recommend them. Their large crew works efficiently and swiftly. They completed our roof in one day and the cleanup job they did was very thorough and meticulous. Our salesperson, Mohammed, was very helpful and attentive. Their price was good and in line with our expectations.

That was the best and fasted roof job I’ve seen, know plenty of roofers and never seen anything like it before all worked very well together and knew what they’re job was. Great at clean up. And the best part was the politeness of everyone of them ! Can’t say enough good things!!

My overall experience with Good Guys Roofing was positive. Mo, the salesperson, was informative, and the roofing crew completed the installation efficiently—finishing within half a day. I did have some initial concerns, as the work was done between rain showers, and I was having three new skylights installed in my sunroom. Ideally, I would have preferred the installation be rescheduled for a dry day, but I understand that weather conditions can be hard to plan around.
Communication did slow somewhat after my initial down payment, and I found myself needing to follow up with Mo a few times via text and phone calls to get updates on the installation.
There was also an issue with the counter flashing installation and the installer cut into the exterior brick face of my home, leaving a visible mark. After I brought this to Mo’s attention, he arranged for someone to repair the area and now it’s a little less noticeable. Also, sometime during the installation a random cable that had been attached to my garage got cut and instead of letting me know the installers wrapped it around a utility pole in my yard for me to find later on. -
Good Guys Roofing is a very good company, tremendous crew with very hard working young guys. Very dependable, showed up on time and only took a half day to get my roof done. Davon was a very responsible young man, took control and showed initiative. Ali the final clean up guy did a fine job making sure not a single nail was left behind. Moe from day 1 was very impressive and I have nothing but great things to say about him. Wouldn't have wanted to go with any other company. 6/5 stars if i could!
