Not professional. We had a scheduled appointment at 1:30/2:00 and he didn't show up until 4:30. I had to call him to make sure he was still coming. Then when he came, his price was much higher than the other quotes we got. I told him what his competors were charging and he told me I should go with them and then left.

My business sub contacted work off of keener landscape for 3 years. No problems in the past until this past winter. I explained the problem we were having with the sign in system and Courtney said it was fine to send pictures. Wow what a mistake. Keener still owes us for alot of $$$. They dont care. I guess you will be hearing from our lawyer!

I would not use this company. Did not show up for first appointment, late for second. Said they'd help with snow plow, never followed through. Called company to have the secretary hang up on me without even saying hello, then called me back and apologized. Very rude and unreliable. I've worked with many companies over the years and have never been treated like this. Don't recommend and don't waste your time or money.

Just had them out and everything looks great!!! They were fast as well. We had all of our beds redone and had an enormous tree removed. All completed in just two days!! Already recommending them to friends and family!!

Akeener landscape and design has done my mulching, bush trimming and bed edging as well as fall cleanup the past 4 years. I have found them to be prompt, professional and highly skilled in the work they have done for me. Pricing appears to be fair when compared to other quotes I have received for the same kind of work. I will definitely use them again next year.

Do NOT use this company. They take a substantial down payment to “hold” your date. They do NOT show up on the date - many excuses given. When the work was finally done (over a month beyond schedule), the grass did not germinate. We watered. Only weeds came up. After 10 days Matt came to collect final payment, he was shown the non-growing lawn. His response was, “these things take time.” Grass germinates in roughly 10 days. He said he would be back with fertilizer. He never showed up. My husband called and emailed. He never responded.

I finally said I would call my attorney. He responded but told me to go elsewhere.

I have worked with A Keener Landscape and Design for 5 years. They mow our lawn at our home, help with spring clean up, plant trees and plow the drive. They are excellent, affordable and attentive. They also take care of plowing our business parking lot and do an amazing job there as well. I would recommend Matt and his team to anyone looking for quality service!

Matt and crew are very easy to work with and responsive to requests/changes. Their pricing is fair. Although probably not the least expensive option you will find, you get what you pay for. They do a great job and take pride in their work! I would recommend them for your lawn/snow needs.

We have been using A Keener Landscaping & Design for lawn mowing, landscaping, fall & spring clean ups & snow removal for over 8 years and have never seen any reason to change. They have always been on time & in budget. The crews are friendly, courteous and efficient. We have been recommending friends and neighbors for years and will continue.

After having a basement Waterproofing company tear up our landscaping five times, we reached out to Keener Landscaping to help. Our daughter is getting married in three days and we were hosting several events at our home. The yard was a disaster. The job involved reforming al the flower beds, tilling, top soil, design, plants, mulching, etc...

Matt and his team did an EXCELLENT JOB on a pretty hard task. I can’t speak enough to how beautiful our yard now is. I highly recommend them. The crew was courteous and professional and polite. They went above and beyond to take care of our yard and spots I hadn’t even considered. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

So, I scheduled grass installation approximately 6-8 weeks in advance and was told i need to pay $500 to "hold" the date. I then paid with my credit card. I had a change of heart, so I reached out to cancel the service and was given the run around. First, the system was down. Then the owner "Matt" needed to approve the refund. To make a long story short, I still do not have my refund. I will be seeking legal advice because I have yet to receive my refund for a service that was canceled. BTW, the receipt does NOT specify a time-frame for cancellation. Buyer beware!!! P.s. I'm very curious if they will respond to this considering they have not contacted me once. I did all of the calling.

Mr. Keener,

You are flat out being dishonest right now. We paid you in June to "save the date". We made the request to not do business with your company in early July. You have not at any point refunded my money to my CC, not in July, August, September or October. My CC company is coming after you thankfully, and THEY credited my stolen money that you still have in your pocket. You have NOT refunded anything and you are lying about having refunded our money.

My wife calling you has nothing to with with anything. It only clarifies that we chose to NOT do business with you. Yes, we asked to see other work that you have done and that is when we decided to NOT use you!!

Furthermore, we did not "run" out of funds my thieving friend, we simply did not want to do business with you. You know the area we live in, does it appear that we are "running out of funds"??

And lastly, saying i am not a victim is confusing! Are you the one accusing ME of stealing YOUR money?? I accused you and now YOU are victim blaming. Or, maybe you refunded someone else and got it mixed up with me. Thanks for responding though, it took awhile but you did!

A Keener Landscape replaced all of our mulch with Lava Rock. These guys really worked hard. Our property really looks great! They also cut our grass weekly. Our grass always looks beautiful. I recommend Matt and his guys for all your landscape needs.

Keener Landscaping did our snow plowing this winter and I was so happy with the service. Services were easily set up with one phone call to the office and plowing was done consistently and efficiently. The payment method I chose was monthly billing. My experience with Keener has met all my expectations and I am highly recommending them to both friends and family

We have used A Keener Landscape and Design for several years, they take care of our Landscaping.
We personally know Matt, the owner and he is a first class business owner. Our mulch beds and landscape always look awesome! Our neighbors always ask, who is your contractor, as it always looks beautiful every year. Many times in a pinch we call Matt to do our lawn cutting and he is always there the next day. Its been a pleasure working with Matt and his crew. I met with Matt to go over my needs and he was very quick and thorough in making a plan and getting back with me. His pricing is very competitive to those landscaping companies in my area and the finished product on my landscape design is beautiful! His crew is very nice and left things very neat. I have also started using him for lawn maintenance and will be using him this winter for plowing as well. Can't say enough good things!

Google wouldn't let me write a new review, only update the old. This is 8/21/20, had A Keener Landscape and Design do some work for me the third time, this time building a stone stairway down a steep hill and landscaping with new beds around those stairs and the back of my house. Again, very happy with the results. 3 for 3 times a satisfied customer. We're getting lots of compliments on how it looks. I'll also say that Mat's crew was very polite and professional, and Matt followed through on everything he said he'd do. I've recommended the company several times and will continue to do so!
This is from several years ago, first time we worked with A Keener: Matt and crew did a finish grade, built flower beds, and did a seed and staw new lawn installation at my newly constructed home. They did a great job. I did exactly what Matt said in terms of watering and the lawn came in really well. Lots of people have remarked on how good it looked for a new lawn.

We had gotten several estimates for the job and the price was all about the same, but Matt's proposal was more for the money. They followed up and made sure things were growing after the job-something no one else was going to do.

We're looking forward to working with them again when we finish the landscaping this spring. Highly recommend this company!

I had A Keener Landscaping and Design out to look at a French drain that needed repair as well as a new gate for the fence. I have been calling since a week after the gentleman came for any type of update on pricing which was now 3 weeks ago. I am still calling them trying to get the estimate for these projects. I did talk to their rep Sandy a week ago and she was supposed to see where this process was. Apparently its nowhere because I still do not have any information. No call back still and nothing from them in my email. I am literally begging for them to send me something to be able to hire them and give them my money. Something is very wrong with that. As a business, it seems like A Keener Landscaping and Design does not need business from us because they lack any type of follow up or communication to people that are looking to hire a "professional". Do yourself a favor and skip calling this one.

We first used Hometown Landscaping last year and it was a pleasure to work with Zac. We asked to be contacted this year for some additional work we wanted done. True to his word, we were contacted as requested. While we were unable to have all the work done, we did have him come back to touch up his previous work. We plan to have him come back next year and hopefully have the additional work done at this time.

Hometown Landscaping does a great job! Zac is very dependable and professional. My husband and I can no longer handle the yard work and it's a pleasure to look out our window and see a manicured lawn. He will be plowing our driveway as well this winter. We are very pleased with his work. We highly recommend his services.
