Tree reviews in Mentor, Ohio

Dan did a fantastic job for me. Had two maples with cable lines running through them they had to cut down for me and remove some stumps in time for my neighbor to put up a fence before their family came into town.

Dan always stuck to his word and completed the work in a timely manner.

We didn’t think we could even get anyone to plow our driveway after the snowstorm. Called Dan at Think Outdoors and he arrived very promptly within 30 minutes. He was very polite, professional and did an excellent job.

After getting estimates from at least three other companies, I would describe my experience with Think Outdoor Tree Service as “save the best for last.” I am so glad that I was able to finally find someone that trimmed the big tree on the side of my house. Dan was professional, punctual, and very responsive. He got the job done four days after I contacted him. In the future, should I need a Tree Service again, I will not waste my time calling anyone else. Elia I.

Think Outdoor Tree Service is a great company to work with. They did my job the same day I called. They cleaned the stump shavings away from my driveway and walkway. They do not overcharge like other tree service companies. I highly recommend them.

I found Dan on Facebook for snow removal. Very fast, very personable and very nice job! Cleaned the front of the driveway then let me pull both cars out and finished the job. Very professional! Will be contacting again! Would recommend to anyone!

If you need tree work done I highly recommend calling Think Outdoor. We were "tagged" by the City for limbs too low and called Dan at Think Outdoor. They came out that afternoon, trimmed to specification and cleaned up. Their price was very good, very fair. If you use them you'll be glad you did.

Dan came over and gave me a price that I thought was very reasonable. The same day he cut the trees down that I needed. He is very reasonable priced and professional. I would use this company again for future work that I need. Thanks again Dan for a tremendous job.

I would highly recommend. He gave me an estimate in the morning and had my trees gone and stumps ground out before I got home from work. I had contacted other companies for an estimate and haven’t even heard from them yet. 😂 Think Outdoors got the whole job done before any other company even contacted me!

If anybody needs a tree guy Daniel from Think outdoor tree removal is the most caring and professional tree guy! I called him in tears that the pine needles from my pine tree keeps getting into my house and I keep stepping on them and explained my financial situation and he was so kind to work with me. I never met anyone so passionate about their career. I highly recommend him to take care of your trees!!

Dan was super helpful and had a very quick response time! Highly recommend him!

Used this company for this first time today and am very impressed. Dan showed up quickly and got right to work. Two stumps ground up safely and faster than I thought possible. The holes left are perfect for putting another tree in. Doesn’t get better than that. He made sure a piece of plywood was positioned between the machine and my sliding glass doors just in case. But the pieces are so small it’s really not a worry. Very pleasant and I will defiantly be using his services again.

If your looking for stump grinding Think Outdoor should be the company you pick.  They took care of stumps in my yard timely  and efficiently and for a reasonable price.  I referred them to a neighbor and with 24 hours they were there to service their needs and they couldn't be happier.  I also forgot I needed another small stump removed and he was so flexible to take care of it the same day he serviced my neighbors yard.  HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this excellent company!

I am not one to take the time to share a review…. Ever.
I sent a random email inquiring about a quote for stump removal, received a call back within 30 minutes and stump was totally gone within 2 hours.
Highly recommend!

Dan and his crew did a very professional job cutting a large dead tree down from my backyard. The city of Mentor was after me to remove it so I needed to act quickly. Dan was out the next day to give me a quote!!! Dans prices are great and he even worked with me on payments which is very rare these days!!! Great communication throughout the whole process!! Liked that he's local too!!!!

The folks at Think Outdoor did a fantastic job. Extremely responsive and reasonably priced given the quality of work. We had multiple needs - stumps removal, brush haul/chip, tree pruning and removal, all done professionally and with care.

Dan and his crew were amazing. They showed up as promised and did an excellent job. They removed seven 30 year old pine trees about 25 feet from the side of our house along with grinding out the stumps. The work was done Christmas week 2021. The weather wasn't the greatest to be working outside. There was a lot of man labor with wet yards. Prices were excellent and they were in and out in 1 1/2 days. Anyone looking for tree removal, I would definitely give these guys a call.

Highly recommend Dan and his team! Dan came out and provided an estimate within hours of my call and the work was completed in less than two weeks. They did a great job, caused no collateral damage, and left everything cleaned up. They even cut back some poison ivy for me. Very professional and friendly. Cheri D.

I needed a tree removed, as well as some English Ivy removed. Dan and his crew did both. Dan was quick to respond and give an estimate, very friendly and professional. Tree removal and stump grinding were quick and efficient, and it was nice to have option to have them haul it all away. The Ivy removal was also quick, Dan communicated every step of the way what he would do. I have 2 dogs and he let us know when he was going to spray the ivy, so that we would know when to keep our dogs off of it. Prices were fair and reasonable. I will definitely be using Dan and his guys in the future for other projects.

Dan from Think Outdoor showed up the day after I left him a message inquiring about his company’s services to look and quote the job. He was friendly, professional, informative and combined my thoughts with his expertise to suggest a plan. He left me with a detailed quote including drawing and pricing. He and his crew showed up before scheduled and carefully and expeditiously removed 3 large trees, several smaller trees and saplings, grinded stumps, removed brush, chipped and hauled away all wood in less than 2 days! He left the job and yard clean and also was able to recommend other ideas/companies to help me complete my goal. Overall we are very pleased with this company and crew.

I can pretty much guarantee that if you use this company you will be very satisfied. Very professional, easy to deal with and talk to. I'm very satisfied customer and I will use them again if I need them in the future.

Update on September 2nd 2023 after using this company for the second time. You won't find a better group of individuals. I called them and they came right out after the tornado hit my backyard. They gave me a very fair price. And they are dog friendly. I Highly recommend them and they are my go-to company

Couldn't ask for a better experience. Dan was very professional, responsive, efficient, and friendly. His quote was also very affordable. Dan and crew trimmed several large trees just as we discussed and cleaned up the yard when they were finished. I will definitely call Dan again if I ever need future service.
