Tree reviews in Mentor, Ohio

He showed up when he said he would. Easy to deal with and did a great job. Had them remove stumps and tree roots so I could plant grass. I would recommend these guys for sure.

George came out promptly and provided me a no cost estimate. I needed immediate service. George and his crew returned within 48 hours and did an outstanding job!! George and his crew were extremely professional and I'm 100% satisfied with the work I received. I would recommend anyone needing tree services to call him immediately.

This is the third time I've had Stamp's Tree Service remove, trim and dig out a tree. George and his crew are very affordable, on time and very quick availability - they do a great job! And - it's over 90 degrees outside!

We needed the linden tree on our tree lawn trimmed. George came over, gave us a reasonable quote, and came out the next day to do the job. We’re very happy with the results - the tree looks great and is no longer blocking access to the mailbox or the sidewalk. We will definitely use this company again and enthusiastically recommend them to others needing tree service.

We are very happy with the service provided by George and his crew. We called for an estimate for the removal of two trees and trimming two other trees. George was able to come in a timely fashion for the estimate during which he examined the space needed for his equipment as well as envisioning the logistics of the removal and trimming project. The estimate was very competitive - we had a total of three estimates. After deciding on using Stamp Tree Service we were readily able to find a day and time that was suitable. George and his crew came as agreed, were efficient in carrying out the service and cleaned our property after the job was carried out. In short, we are very happy and would recommend Stamp Tree Service for these types of residential services.

Had Stamps take down (2) Trees and Grind (1) Stump. Great Service, Price, and Communication. Highly Recommend them if your looking to get some Tree Work done!

Called for an estimate on a tree thats roots were causing problems. George came out ASAP and gave an incredibly reasonable estimate. They were able to come out a couple days later and remove the tree. They did an amazing job! They were super respectful to my new neighbors (just bought the home, and haven’t even moved in yet). They cleaned everything up, and were incredibly flexible saying we didn’t even need to be present when they did it. Highly highly recommend.

Stamp’s service was outstanding and the price was very good. They removed 2 trees and ground out the stumps. The work was done with professionalism. They left the yard immaculate. I would highly recommend them.

I called Stamps Tree Service for a quote on a Saturday morning and George came out the same day. He gave me a reasonable quote so I went with it. He and his crew came out a few days later to do the work. They did an excellent job and were respectful of my property and that of an adjoining neighbor. They cleaned up after the work unlike many other contractors. George gave good advice along the way and even did some additional tree trimming that he saw was needed for the proper health of the trees. We agreed to have him back later in the year to do colder weather tree work. I highly recommend George and Stamps Tree Service!

We are very happy with the work done by stamp’s tree service! The house we recently bought had a lot of dying/dead trees, branches hitting the house, rotting stumps, and it was overall a big mess. They cleaned up our yard really nicely and it looks so nice now. They are very knowledgeable and professional, and helped us identify some other dying trees we didn’t notice. The crew was really nice and they’re all really skilled at their job. We definitely recommend them for your tree needs!

Absolute best! I called for an estimate a George came out the next day a was able to remove two tree in my front yard right away. While they were here I asked if they had time to take another tree from the back yard a they had no problem with it a took it right down. They cut down three trees a grind the stumps for a very good price an did it in no time. Would highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing service. He came out Monday and gave me an estimate I couldn't pass on. I asked when he could start and he said tomorrow morning. They came out Tuesday morning and did a spectacular job. They cleaned up and left my yard in great shape. My neighbors even said the yard looks amazing.
I cannot thank them enough for the job they did. If you're looking for VERY reasonable prices and estimates, Stamps Tree Service is the company to call. If the need arises, I will call them again, highly recommended service.
Thanks again.

As a 50-year homeowner in Willoughby, I have had numerous tree services on my property. None have been as good as Stamps Tree Service. I called George on Wednesday; he returned my call immediately and came the next day to trim the trees at a very fair price. His crew was excellent. In addition to the trees he quoted, they also trimmed deadwood out of 2 pine trees at no additional charge. His work was professional, and I would highly recommend him.

I had a very large pin oak come down in my backyard in north Mentor during the storm of 8/6/2024. Call Stamps and George was out to give an estimate with the hour. Hired Stamps's to do the work was couldn't be happier with their work. Removed the tree within three days! There were trees down all over the area and these guys work very hard to make their customers problems go away fast!

I had 5 Trees that needed to be removed. Stamp,s Tree Service handled the job for me and I'm very happy with the service was provided by the team. Great price, excellent results. I'll recommend this company to anyone interested to get a great service. Thank you!

Stamp Tree Service came highly recommended. They did not disappoint. When George said he would be out to quote the job. He was prompt. His quote was reasonable. He called the morning before the job say that he and his crew would be out in the morning to cut down the tree.

The 4 man crew was professional and communicated very well with each other to get the job completed. They respected our property and cleaned up when the job was complete.

Note: The tree was a large black locust which is a hard wood. Unfortunately, it was ruining driveway and had to go.

I highly recommend Stamp Tree Service.

My wife and I returned home from an out-of-town trip to discover a large blackgum tree in our backyard leaning dangerously over our house. We called Stamp’s, and George came to give us an estimate for its removal. It was reasonable, and we accepted it. The next day he and his crew arrive on time and began working quickly, efficiently, and safely. They took down the tree, carted it away, and cleaned up all debris in two and half hours. I would highly recommend Stamp’s Tree Service.

They did a great job clearing the yard of many trees. They were punctual, professional and completed the work very quickly. I would definitely recommend for your tree removal needs.

Best around! Honest people, affordable prices, professional, and most of all incredible work! Have worked with other people in the past and they were very unreliable. Think Outdoor on the other-hand will get the job done before you even realized they started! 100% recommend to everyone!

We had a tree fall and damage a fence, he came out gave us an estimate and fixed it all in the same day. They were efficient and fast. Good work!

Very Professional, job was completed within days of initial estimate... made short work of a difficult task, and for a very reasonable price...would recommend to anyone...fantastic job! Will always contact first for any further tree service/any other services they may offer
