A large tree fell on our my home and a crossed the drive way. They came quickly gave me the proposal were done in less than an hour. The price is very affordable. They gave me peace of mind. Had them cut down a honey suckle so big I thought it was a normal tree. Everyone from the quote guy to the guys who came out to cut it were very nice. They answered all my questions and seemed to know a lot about trees. I choose them over a lower quote but I appreciated their ability to communicate and the care they took around the yard and that they included their proof of insurance in the quote gave me some piece of mind. I was extremely pleased with the tree and stump removal at my home in April. Both teams arrived at the appointments as scheduled. The tree removal teams promptly went to work and stayed at it until the job was finished. They worked well together and were very efficient. The stump removal team also completed their part efficiently and professionally. I talked with both teams about what I expected and they completed the jobs as expected. The clean up was way above what i had anticipated. I was even given instruction on how the repair the hole left by the removal. I will strongly recommend Davey to my neighbors and friends for any tree work that they may have in the future. Thank you very much.

There are many things I like about working with them. It is difficult to find good contractors who 1. arrive at the appointed time to meet and discuss the job 2. provide a detailed quote, outlining the scope and itemizing costs 3. price fairly and transparently 4. show up onsite to begin and finish the job as agreed and 5. offer the opportunity to pay online with 30 day payment terms and the icing on the cake, 6. carefully relocate a bird's nest they found in a tree that needed to be removed.

We had a 50' spruce tree come partially out of the ground during a recent wind storm. Davey got us on the schedule within the week. The tree was in a tight spot behind the house. They came with all the right equipment, and we were very impressed with how the crew collaborated effectively to figure out the best way to remove the tree, which included lifting one of them up over the house on a boom. They chipped up all the debris, raked the yard and even moved our garden shed out of the way and put it back after the tree was gone. We were also impressed with how they took the time to be safety conscious every step of the way.

From the initial conversation with Thomas Weidner till they raked up the very last leaf, this was a TOP NOTCH EXPERIENCE! Very professional and efficient, the guys who removed the 2 largest and oldest trees in my yard operated the machines like surgeons. They didn't leave one fleck of sawdust behind. Terry does a great job of quoting and the folks that do the work are well informed and quickly locate the tree that needs attention. They work hard to use plywood and other support elements that will help preserve our property. Very reliable and work safely.

These guys are pros! I have used them for the past 20+ years. We have several mature oak trees around our house. I can't afford to have amateurs doing jobs where a tree would land on my house. These guys always have the right equipment and the right skills to do the job right. After they were done, they cleaned up so well it was hard to know they had been here.

We had Davey prune 3 trees, one to remove the branches next to the house. They did a great job. The workers were very professional and knew what they were doing. Cleaned everything up. Would recommend them to anyone with tree pruning or removal needs.

Tree removal crew was great . They took care to do as little damage as possible to the property, cleaned up after they were done very good. Would recommend Davy tree to anybody who needed tree services.

We have a very large silver maple shading our home from the afternoon sun. On July 11, a clear windless day, we had a very large lead break( approximately 18-inch diameter) and fall on our house and deck. We called Davey and Joe Shaw (estimator for our area) came out that afternoon . At the time, the lead was still attached to the tree and Joe thought that not only was it a safety hazard but also could possibly cause additional damage to the house and deck. Joe used his skills to rope the limb and tied it off to prevent it from falling - a good thing, because it did break-off later that evening and was only supported by Joe’s rope. The lead was blocking access to the deck and backyard from the house preventing us from letting our 3 dogs out to the back yard. Joe pulled together a crew (Joe and his brother) and returned the next morning to remove the lead and all debris. Joe and Davey Tree definitely went above and beyond “the call of duty” to help us out of the jam we were in. I would recommend Davey Tree to anyone needing tree care and landscaping maintenance/services. We’ve personally used Davey ‘s services for several years and have always been 100% satisfied. Thanks again to Davey Tree, Joe Shaw and his brother for their efforts to get us out of the jam we were in.

We can’t say enough about the careful and efficient job the crew of 3 did to remove our tree (that was unfortunately struck by lightning) and how quickly they got it done. Our neighbor next door watched the whole process, too, and had the same comments. In fact, he couldn’t believe how much better Davey did than a different company he hired to remove his front yard tree last year. Everyone in the neighborhood had comments about the lightning and our beautiful Linden. We told them all about the great job Davey Tree, Josh, Richard and crew did for us!

Andrew and his team did a fantastic job of removing several dead trees and trimming back a few thriving trees. The had to bring in the heavy equipment and I was a bit worried about lawn damage but it all turned out great!
