Reviews of local pros in Monroe, Ohio

José and his crew (Gerardo) did a great job building a fire pit area for us and a large berm with arborvitae for screening. They checked in with me every day to ensure I was happy with the end result. I would recommend them and will most likely use them again!

Rios Landscaping, Jose’ always answers calls professionally, quickly or returns calls in a timely manner; texts me when he’s on his way. He’s always been dependable. His company has removed tall trees, topped trees, cut down dead shrubs & always cleans property when they leave. His workers work quickly & do a professional job. He is usually booked, but can squeeze your job in if it’s smaller. I certainly recommend him for landscaping!!

Excellent service and people! We hired Rios to put some sod and river rock in our backyard. They did an awesome job and even offered to trim a tree while here. We've already booked more jobs with them!

They were very responsive and quick with getting a quote. Got us on the schedule quickly. Price was very good for all the extra work they put in. They cleaned up meticulously each day they were done. Will definitely only be using them for any landscaping or ground work I need or anyone I know needs.

WOW!!!! I could not have asked for a better job to be done!!! They did exactly what I wanted and it turned out absolutely fantastic!!! They also cleaned up after they were done and made it perfect!! You do not want to use anyone else but this company for any landscaping or construction needs.

We built our new home three years ago and hadn’t gotten around to landscaping—until now. After searching for a reliable, fairly priced company, we came across RIO Landscaping, and they did not disappoint!

They did an INCREDIBLE job! Our home looks AMAZING—they designed everything from start to finish, and we’re absolutely blown away by the results. The team worked tirelessly, even in extreme heat, and never let up. Their work ethic and professionalism were top-notch.

One thing we really appreciated is their one-year guarantee on plants and how they don’t just leave you hanging. They took the time to make sure we understood how to care for everything and even offer continued maintenance options.

I could go on and on, but just know this: I will never go anywhere else for landscaping again. A huge THANK YOU to all the gentlemen who worked so hard to make our home look this amazing—you guys are the best!

Rios landscaping performed excellent work on my home. Jose was easy to work with and available to answer questions. Rios crew was polite and completed the job on time.

Wonderful experience. Professional, great communication. Jose and his team designed a beautiful landscape and gave great recommendations. You can tell they enjoy doing what they do, and were friendly and knowledgeable. I won’t hesitate to use them again.

Jose Rios is very nice to work with. His team did a great job. If needed we will hire Rios Landscaping again. A+

Rio's installed a paver patio, stairs, firepit, retaining wall, shed pad w/retaining wall and driveway extension for us. Working with Jose and his team was an absolute pleasure! I had a vision and Jose designed and executed it beautifully. Communication was there throughout the entire project and he was very accommodating when I wanted to make minor revisions. The crew was friendly, respectful, professional, and cleaned up at the end of EVERY work day. I HIGHLY recommend Rio's and would hire them again myself in a heart beat!

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Rios Landscaping and Lawn Services! Jose chose the perfect plants, flower and trees for the front of our home, and we are so pleased with how everything turned out. Will be calling them back annually for their services!

Jose and his team provided an exceptional landscaping experience for our home, surpassing all my previous experiences in the past two decades. We had several overgrown shrubs and bushes that needed removal, and Jose and his team worked diligently and efficiently to eliminate them without causing any damage to our yard. After the removal, we needed a refreshment to our front yard, which was now bare. Jose not only recommended the best course of action but also created detailed sketches of the possible designs, including the names of each plant. This allowed us to conduct our own research and ensure that the final design would be aesthetically pleasing. We followed Jose’s recommendations to the letter, and all the plants and rock walls were completed in a day and a half. We also added new mulch, which has made the entire area look fantastic. Several neighbors have already complimented us on the impressive transformation of our front yard. All credit to Rios Landscaping they are an A+ service provider and did a perfect job on the cleanup too. They even took the time to re-grade the edges of our mulch beds to ensure a sharp and clean look.

José and his crew far exceeded our expectations. I first saw José working in our neighborhood on another families house. He was nice enough to come and speak with me during his lunch break and told my wife and I that he would be more than happy to take on the project at our house. Within a matter of a few days he and his crew were at our house and finished a rather lengthy job in record timing. The finished product was amazing and we continue to get compliments and asked about who did the work. I would highly recommend Rios Landscaping for anyone looking for extensive exterior work.

My yard looks amazing after the wonderful work by Rios Landscaping! Communication was top notch and the work was done promptly and meticulously. They spent 2 full days beautifying my flower beds and uncovering the stone edging that had been overtaken by weeds. My house looks amazing now and I will definitely be using them whenever I need landscaping work.

Rios Landscaping did a great job at my house. They did a complete job and went above what was asked. They were friendly, fairly priced, and efficient. They kept me up to date on the progress of the job and were great to work with!

We hired Rios Landscaping to get our yard in shape after building a new home last fall/winter. During the bid process, Jose' and Laz came out, walked the property and answered any questions we had and made some great suggestions to get a fantastic project. When we got the quotation, they were very helpful on explaining the work and the value for the price was exceptional. Once we signed a contract with them, they kept us informed on when they would be here to do the work. They showed up when they said they would and completed their work ahead of the projected schedule. They did our retaining wall, fine grading, seed and sod. All the crew was very friendly, professional and meticulous to make sure all the work and the wall was done right the first time. They cleaned up at the end of each work day leaving our property clean and presentable. Their workmanship is exceptional.

This is definitely a company we would use again.

We hired Rios to landscape in the front and the side of our home. Jose (owner) was easy to work and communicate with from his drawing up a diagram to knowing and listing each plant of what would work best for the areas and providing a detailed and fair price for the job. His workers were always on time, stayed all day and completed the job in the time promised! They are “perfectionists” and cleaned up the area beautifully after they were done. I highly recommend Rios for your landscaping!! Jose has a great vision of what works best for your property and listens carefully to your concerns and ideas. I have recommended him to our grown son and to friends. Have even had compliments from neighbors and friends.

Would highly recommend this company! Their work was great and they completed the job quickly with no mess left behind. Less times were good to get me on the schedule and communication with Jose through the process was exceptional. Even did sample drawings to give us an idea of an improved design.

Rios and his team were great to work with. Had the whole yard edge/mulched plus regraded a flower bed and revitalized another. Rios is quick to respond and easy to work with. His team is great - the work they do is done with care and well executed. I would certainly reach out again for any future work.

I recently had some landscaping and rock work done. I couldn't be happier they were on time worked hard and did a great job and cleaned up. I highly recommend these guys !
