Reviews of local pros in Novelty, Ohio

Dan listened to us and planned our project to suit our needs. His crew was professional and very well mannered. We are very happy with the result!

Dan is awesome! He was extremely responsive and did exactly what was discussed. He is very knowledgeable about landscaping (and I am clueless, so this was very helpful!) and provided solutions to my landscaping issues. I will definitely use Chapin Landscapes for any future landscaping needs.

Dan and his crew replaced landscape fabric and rock, moved plants, added additional plants and realigned landscape curbing. They did a fabulous job! I would highly recommend them.

Dan listened to us, and his input and experience was invaluable. I feel like we had a great collaboration. His team was professional and knowledgeable. I am not a gardener, and Dan left us with something beautiful a d easy for us to maintain. I would call them again, and reccomend them.

We hired Chapin Landscapes for the first time in June but it certainly won't be our last time. We met w/Dan several times to be sure we were all on the same page for our backyard project. After approx. 3 days, the Chapin crew transformed our backyard to look like it should be in a magazine. They planted new, repurposed other plant material, built a retaining wall along the pond, created a rock wall and landing from the deck, etc...the crew were hard workers, knowledgable and very pleasant. Don't hesitate to give the owner Dan Chapin a call for any of your landscaping needs!

I’d highly recommend Chapin Landscapes! I was in a bind and needed service quickly in Pepper Pike. I called several landscapers in the area and the only one who called me back was Dan. Not only was he responsive, he got both jobs I needed done quickly. And, the work was absolutely top-notch. I’ll be calling Chapin Landscaping moving forward. Thanks again, Dan!

Dan Chapin and his crew were exceptional and very knowledgeable. All the guys did a terrific job and were not afraid to do what needed to be done to complete the job. All the work was done basically cutting out grass to install gravel around my house for an accent and also park my boat trailer on it on the side of my house, plus an area for a rock garden and some low plants. I asked Dan to pick out some larger boulders and two dwarf pine trees. He picked out the boulders and especially the pine trees like he picked them out for his own yard. The crew were all professional and I'm so impressed and proud of my yard.....I'm just so happy. I know it would look good, but Dan and his crew went above and beyond

I had such a great experience with Chapin ( and will continue to use them). My neighbor recently used them and I saw the lawn sign and called right away. I had a much higher quote from a landscaping company in the area. Dan was prompt and stopped over right away to talk with me about our project. His quote was half what I was quoted by the other company with a quicker turnaround time. The project was complete before I knew it and I never had to ask when it was happening.the employees who did it were so polite and nice when I stopped outside. I can’t say enough good things and will recommend Chapin to anyone who will listen.

Dan and the crew did a great job at our facility! They added two crushed gravel walkways with drainage and a beautiful retaining wall and steps. Would recommend them to anyone. Very understanding and changed plans on the fly with outstanding results. Thanks again guys.

Cleaned up my flower beds and moved and some plants and got rid of some also did around trees very fast very affordable and very professional

My husband and I moved into a home where the landscape hadn't been touched in years. I was recommended to Dan through NextDoor. He did an awesome job for us. Dan came out twice to ensure what we wanted was correct with his notes and to mark our yard, etc.

We had Dan remove 3 trees, a bunch of shrubs, and then create new beds for us. He brought in an entire team and had the whole project done in a day.

Dan is very professional and followed up with us afterward to make sure we were still happy with our yard. His team kept the yard clean, didn't leave behind a mess, and planted new grass seed where needed. Would definitely recommend.

Dan and his crew are amazing! They installed some rock work and a small patio, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Dan is very responsive and provides lots of ideas and insight to solve problems and get the look you want within your budget. He visited the site numerous times during the work and spoke with me about every aspect. His crew was equally conscientious, taking great care to not damage my very soggy lawn and giving attention to every detail. The crew was invested in the final aesthetic and made adjustments as needed to achieve the desired result. They cleaned up every day and the work was completed very quickly and exactly as discussed. I will definitely use Chapin Landscapes again for any landscaping needs!

We worked with Dan to finalize a design and he was terrific, creative, and very responsive, coming back several times to measure and to answer our questions. His team worked quickly and efficiently and Dan even met us at a local nursery to select bushes. In short order, the design came to life. We will definitely use Dan again and we highly recommend his services.

I'm not sure how to express how happy I am with Chapin without it coming across as fake :) - I hired their team to work on the bedding around my house. They were easy to work with, communicative, fairly priced (I checked) and their work was absolutely meticulous. I can't recommend them enough.

Overwhelmingly happy with the landscaping work completed by Dan and his employees! The process was seamless from start to finish. Dan, the owner, gave us great ideas and listened to our concerns and wants. His team was very friendly, respectful and timely. We would absolutely use Dan's company again and recommend him with no exceptions!

Chapin did a great job installing a Paver patio with a fire ring and bench seating. Throughout the entire process Dan was very responsive and accommodating of our requests. The finished result looks great and is extremely functional. They did a nice job cleaning up and replanting grass where some of the yard was torn up. Will use Chapin for our future landscape needs and highly recommend this company.

Dan and his crew did a wonderful job taking me out of the mud and getting me on dry ground! He was very helpful connecting me with local companies for materials and getting them delivered in a timely fashion. They were very professional on installation and careful cleaning up when they left. I would highly recommend Chapin Landscapes for all your outdoor needs.

Project included complete tear-out of existing overgrown landscaping, refurbishing the beds, and installing new plants, mulch and some decorative rocks. Dan’s crew arrived on day one, tore out existing landscaping and refurbished the soil. Day two completed the project by midafternoon and the new look of the front of the house is amazing.

The owner came out to my home and spent about 20-30.I told him everything I wanted done(Most things on a regular basis). This was on July 3rd. He offered and promised I would have his “detailed” proposal no later than 8th.Made sure to give him my email.
