Tree reviews in Oakwood, Ohio

I highly recommend Bartlett Tree and their Arborist Representative Sean Fenton for any tree care and service needs. They excel in professionalism, courtesy, safety, knowledge, and clean-up.
Our lot is 0.4 acre with many trees, e.g., locust, red bud, japanese maple, magnolia, service berry, silver maple and other large shrubs. In the +40 years we've lived here, we have used many tree care services and the results have been mixed and generally mediocre. We have finally found the premier service.

I first came in contact with Bartlett Tree Experts while they were providing tree service to a neighbor. The first thing I noticed was the meticulous preparation of the area, providing a safety zone around the work area and ensuring no damage would befall the surrounding lawn area.
During tree service at my home , Mike, the sales expert and Arborist, I found to be very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, patient and a pleasure to talk to. He explained the services I needed to preserve the health of my trees and spoke in terms easy to understand and walked me through the process.

Scheduling tree service with Bartlett was quick and easy. Within days Tree Pruning experts Josh & Bryan were dispatched to my home followed by Jeff & Emily providing Airspading to decompact the soil around the root system improving the health of the trees.
The Bartlett Team is professional, courteous and friendly. Observing how meticulous they are, preparing the area for safety and preventing the lawn from being damaged, is obvious to me that they are highly skilled, deciated and expertly trained. They finished-up and it was like they were never there.
We are extremely happy with the look and health of our trees!
I give they my highest recommendations! 11 of 10 Stars
Thank You Bartlett Team of Tree Experts!

Bartlett Tree Service was out this past week doing pruning and weight reduction on my stand of cottonwood poplars. Thier arborists spent two days, using a wide array of equipment. When they were done, the trees had a much more pleasing and reassuring appearance. All of the deadwood and interfering branches were removed.
They arrived promptly on the scheduled date. They were very careful with my plants and patio furnishings. When they were finished each day, they carefully cleaned up all the trimmings and debris. They were really pleasant and friendly to deal with. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Bartlett Tree are true partners in helping to keep my trees healthy and thriving. I am thankful for their professionalism and their tree-preservation philosophy. They are very responsive to my concerns.

Bartlett Tree Experts are very professional and knowledgeable. The work was completed less than two weeks after the initial estimate. My tree was trimmed, it looks healthier than ever and the crew left my lawn cleaner than when they arrived. Highly recommend.

Outstanding service! Sean came simply to quote removal of a tree, then pointed out an issue with my shrubs, recommended a treatment, gave me advice on other shrubs and then restaked a small tree! Unexpected but very much appreciated! Trustworthy company!

We had Bartlett Tree Experts out to take care of some long overdue pruning of a couple large Maple trees on our property. There workers were personable and professional. After doing an excellent job pruning, they cleaned up our yard and had it looking better than when they arrived. I highly recommend Bartlett Tree Experts.

Sean Fenton and his crew do exceptional, quality tree trimming. I have four giant oak trees in my front yard that they trimmed for me this week. They arrived the very next day after I reached out to Sean, trimmed my trees, and left my yard exactly as it was when they arrived. There were no ruts or even lines in the grass from their equipment, and my landscaping was completely unharmed. I will definitely be using them for years to come!

Bartlett Tree Experts always exceeds my expectations when it comes to their knowledge, work, and professionalism. My trees mean a lot to me and I always appreciate how thorough Bartlett is in evaluating my property and recommending a mix of plant healthcare for prevention and treatment, and tree work to keep my trees healthy and beautiful. I am a forever customer.

The crew members were expert and courteous. They explained everything they were doing, listened to our questions and concerns and worked efficiently and effectively. They pruned and cabled our magnificent, century old Elm and treated our ailing Cherry. They also pruned a 25 year old River birch.

This is my second review of Bartlett Tree Experts based on this major project they did. Today Bartlett Tree Experts pruned my 150 year old Pin Oak. This is the first time this tree has received any professional pruning. The Oak looks very happy and I hope it has many more years to live. They know when to prune and what to prune so not to stress the tree. The workers were on time, professional and personable. I am looking forward to Spring when the new leaves start to Bloom. If you love your trees, I think Barlett are the experts to do the work.

I was very impressed with the Bartlett Tree arborist who came to look at my tree. He was knowledgeable about what was going on with my tree. He listened well, was concerned for the health of my tree but also looked at other trees I didn’t consider. I would highly recommend Bartlett Tree Experts. We even discussed ways to make it easier financially. He was great!

Professional and courteous. The crew made sure that I had access to my car before they blocked off the area.

Sean, arborist, is awesome as well as his crew. They are very professional. I initially called to have scale in my magnolia tree treated. Sean also identified other issues with various shrub in my yard. When he came to inspect what his crew had done he asked if I bought spray for the shrub. I had but had not yet used the product. Sean connected the bottle to my hose and did the job for me. I have spent $2000.00 or more over several years to have trees trimmed only to find out it was not done correctly. Had I know about Bartlett tree service I would have saved money and the trees I had trimmed would look better. Bartlett may seem expensive but they do great work, no big trucks with buckets. The crew climbs the tree and trims the way trees should be trimmed. Sean and a crew member even returned to trim two trees that were left off the initial work order. They are the best. No other tree service company for me, very satisfied.

Although Bartlett Tree Experts came in with a higher quote than the other two companies we called, we decided to hire them. We were confident that they would do a good job, and, yes the did! Mike was thorough and a pleasure to work with. The three tree trimmers were polite, worked diligently (in the wind and cold!) and did a great job cleaning up after themselves! We highly recommend Bartlett for your next tree maintenance project.

Here's a special shout out to Bartlett Tree and Tina Graver for expert help in nurturing the many trees and shrubs that surround our home, many of which are mature and a critical part of our landscaping. Bartlett has helped us keep them thriving.

Staff is always professional , friendly & responsive. We have many trees & all are healthy & surviving thanks to Bartlett’s thoughtful care.

I found this tree expert service in the Holden Arboretum magazine. I have planted Japanese maples and dwarf conifers over the last 5 years. Recently noticed some problems that I felt needed professional attention. They have met all my expectations and recommended services that will ensure future healthy growth of my gardens. I can highly recommend these experts. They have taught me a lot which is much appreciated!

awesome company!!! Sean & his crew know there stuff!!! arrived on time, great work & great cleanup & follow up!!! will use them again

Recently had the Bartlett team come evaluate and do some work on the (very old) trees on our property. Very knowledgable people, kept us updated on the process, and clearly good at what they do. Michael was easy to communicate with and Jeff did fantastic work on our tree. It couldnt have been easy work digging out our maple's root flare and fixing what was probably years of girdling, yet he made it look like a breeze. Expertly done.
Our trees are years behind in the TLC department, so needless to say we'll definitely be coming back! Thanks for your hard work!

Contacted Bartlett to evaluate some trees re: pruning. They offered suggestions, including noting that one of the trees was in need of being freed from a girdling root. The crew that came out to do the work a few weeks later did an excellent job and checked with me to ensure everything was the way it should be. They then cleaned up the shorn branches. All in all, professional, skilled, and courteous service.

We are very pleased with the root invigoration done last Friday. The technician (sorry don't remember his name) was very professional and did a great job, leaving the property very neat.
Highly recommend.
