Tree reviews in Oakwood, Ohio

I have several large American beech trees close to my house that have been slowly declining due to beech leaf disease. I had read that Bartlett Tree had recently developed a treatment for the disease, so reached out to their Cleveland Office to ask about having this work completed. Their office manager Chad came out to evaluate the trees, and their arborist Brian completed the injections. Both were courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend Bartlett for this and other tree-care work.

The crew from Bartlett showed up on time and did an amazing job of trimming our trees as well as giving them the protection they need to stay healthy. They were very good at removing all the trimmed branches. We would gladly recommend them to all of our friends and family.

We are so pleased with the work the Bartlett team did! Very nice guys, professional yet personable start to finish. We are keeping the lawn sign up for a while as we live near a fairly busy intersection. There are 3 Bartlett signs in a row of 10 houses all visible from the stop sign. What does that tell you…3 very happy customers!

Bartlett Tree has exceptionally knowledgeable personnel. Michael Emrich guides the care of our mini arboretum and not only shares his evaluation of the health of our trees but answers my questions with interest and patience. Other tree companies emphasize “we’ll get rid of those trees for you” while Bartlett nurtures and cares for our trees, cutting only when necessary. All Bartlett personnel who have come here have been courteous and happy to share their observations about the trees. They don’t rush through the work as though getting paid by how many yards they can service in a day. Bartlett mapped out the trees on our property and suggested stages of work, prioritizing certain tree care where most needed, and proposing a second tier of services that could wait a bit to spread out the cost. I respect the learning Bartlett representatives have and appreciate their courtesy and extra carefulness when our family’s small children are outside while they are working. I love our trees and Bartlett is giving them highly skilled care.

Having a fantastic experience with Bartlett. At first, sadly, I thought I needed to remove a tree. However, their arborist devised a 3-part plan to manage/maintain the tree (which is large and located in a small backyard). The first action was a significant trimming, which was executed last week. The trim job was amazing...really cut the tree back while maintaining its shape. (Clean-up was also great.)

Subsequent treatments are designed to slow tree growth and help it maintain its leaves during the summer...which means I can keep my awesome River beech and the welcome summer shade it provides.

Of the several companies I contacted, Bartlett was the only company whose arborist offered a pro-active plan to appropriately manage my tree. Their price is very reasonable, and they have communicated very well.

I highly recommend Bartlett for anyone who's looking for tree work.

We were concerned that the limbs of our corkscrew willow would crack and fail due to the weight on them. We wanted to save our tree if possible. Tom Mugridge advised removing the deadwood, thinning, pruning and cabling to support the tree. Two men came and did a fantastic job, working nonstop for well over 4 hours. Our tree looks 100% better and we'll have it for many more years. Thank you!

Sean and his crew have been wonderful to work with. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable, and we already feel our trees look much better than before. They came out and gave us a quote 1st and their pricing has not varied from the quote. I feel that they give extra TLC to our trees and it shows! Thanks Barlett - we are super happy! 💚

David Cornet and the entire crew from Bartlett Tree Experts were outstanding to work with. The trees look great. The site clean up was above and beyond as our yard looked better after the work than it did before they started. We were very impressed by the safety precautions and the crews commitment to working safely. Very impressed with Bartlett Tree Experts.
