Tree reviews in Oakwood, Ohio

I have a diseased tree and they were fast about coming out, informative about the options without using jargon, and returned within just a couple days to treat the tree. They also answered follow-up emails and have been very patient with my worrying. I highly recommend this team!

Our family has used and recommended Bartlett for many years. My first personal experience with Michael and his crew was exceptional. It is apparent from the first visit that Bartlett is passionate about their work and very knowledgeable. Neighbors have used other tree companies in the past who have butchered trees, damaged my property, and left a mess for weeks after. You could not tell they were here after the clean up. I am more comfortable knowing my trees and landscape are cared for by their team.

Too bad there is no lower score. These folks are horrible.

Bartlett purchase a local tree company. Mike - the Bartlett arborist - assured me they would honor all existing contracts. NOT!

I keep getting bills for PRE-PAID Services.

They don't care. It's all about the $$$$$.

We're keeping our big, beautiful tree, thanks to Bartlett! We have a very large, older tree that we want to keep, but after last summer's tornado in our area, we had concerns about the safety of having such a big, old tree right near our house. Sean from Bartlett came out to have a look at the tree, and was clearly very knowledgeable. He evaluated the tree, and proposed a plan that would both protect it and keep it healthy at a really affordable price. The folks who did the work came out very soon after and they too had a lot of experience and knowledge. We will definitely call on Sean and Bartlett again for any tree or shrub work. Fantastic service. Highly recommend.

I had a couple of Blue Spruces removed that were preventing the adjacent Norway Spruce branches from growing. Their team did an excellent job in safely downing and removing the trees. They were very professional and extremely efficient.

I recently used Bartlett Tree Experts to prune, trim and shape my six mature (25+ years old) Crabapple trees and my mature Hawthorn tree. I was very pleased with the results. They did a superb job from the beginning of the day-long project to end. It had been a number of years since any work had been done to the trees. I was extremely impressed by the customer service, the quality of the work and the professionalism by everyone at Bartlett. I highly recommend them.”

Sean Fenton was an excellent speaker at our garden club meeting. His presentation was so informative but he added so much more to it. Thank you! North Olmsted Garden Club

Michael from Bartlett Tree was a wealth of knowledge about our trees and plants. He gave so much information and explained multiple services they offered. He was such a pleasure to interact with and I highly recommend him for any issues with trees!!

Eric’s team was punctual, prepared, and professional throughout their work to remove our tree, and grind the stump. They took great care in set-up, safety, and the entire process. I came home to what I left it as- just without the tree: No mess, no branches, no more worries!

Sean Fenton is as wonderful of a guy as he is an arborist. A great asset to Bartlett Tree Experts and our city of Bay Village because he is beyond knowledgeable and kind, and is 100% committed to helping preserve our legacy trees. He gives his time and talent freely to The Bay Village Tree Conservancy and we are grateful his expertise and willingness to help educate our community on a variety of tree-care topics and literally lend a hand when we need help planting trees for the Conservancy. Thanks, Sean!

Sarah and her crew have be taking care of my two story hedges for years and they are beautiful and thick. When I found major damage they were able to identify the issue (city service trucks parked against the hedges in the heat of summer). They assisted with a cutback and were able to reassure me that it wasn't a care issue.

Thanks guys, see you in 2026!

Our family highly recommends Bartlett for all of your tree care needs. We have used them several times for trimming and elm treatments to keep our beautiful (and very old) trees healthy. Mike is prompt and professional when it comes to hearing your concerns and scheduling services. The crew is highly skilled and left our property better than they found it. Bartlett stands out in customer service, value, and unmatched quality of work!

This is the first time we’ve used Bartlett Tree Experts and are totally pleased with their work. They trimmed two of our large maple trees and cabled them to make sure they won’t split during a storm. Tom was extremely knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done and why. Throughout the process there was excellent communication. The crew, Caitlin and Neil, arrived on time and did a great job. From the beginning to the end everyone was knowledgeable, professionally and friendly. We highly recommend Bartlett Tree Experts.

UPDATE: I received a follow-up call from Bartlett apologizing for the slip in communications. I truly appreciate companies that take their customer service this seriously.
My first experience with Bartlett has been very positive. Everyone seems kind, approachable, and professional. They could do a better job of follow-up but their expertise and knowledge are excellent.

I have a collection of Japanese maples and dwarf conifers since 2019. I have gardened for the last 50 yrs but started to realize that I was out my depth with these newer plantings. Luckily I found Bartlett tree experts. I now have a knowledgeable and supportive team to assist with ongoing care and my learning needs. I can highly recommend this expert service team. I will continue annual care.

Several of my neighbors recommended Bartlett. I am more than pleased with the service. My service rep Mike has been incredible to work with. Each crew member I have interacted with has been very knowledgeable. They have been very respectful of my property. Great company!

If you care about your tree and/or our Cleveland canopy then look no further than Bartlett. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, timely, responsive and they care about their work. They will care for your tree like you do. Do the right thing, use Bartlett!

I am so pleased with the advice, recommendations and work that Bartlett Tree Services has done at my house. My new tree is lovely and I am really grateful for some of the recommendations for other trees on my property which I will work on over the next few years. They are very knowledgeable!

I’ve been really pleased with the work that Bartlett Trees has done on my property this fall. This includes fertilization, cabling and pruning on my Basswood, and a root collar excavation of both my Red Maple and Japanese Maple.
All the work was done in the most professional manner, and the guys were very courteous/knowledgeable. The process was explained to me and the cleanup was very thorough. I will be happy to use this company again next year.

We had the best experience with Bartlett!! Mike was easy to work with and got the job quoted and scheduled quickly. Caitlin & Josh were great at communicating what they were doing and explaining the process when they came out. The clean up was meticulous and there wasn’t a single twig left in the yard when they left. Cannot recommend the Bartlett team enough!

Bartlett Tree Experts did an excellent job trimming our three crabapple trees. The crew was professional, efficient, and clearly skilled at what they do. The trimming was done beautifully, the cleanup was thorough, and the team worked together seamlessly. It’s refreshing to see a company take such pride in their work. Highly recommend them for quality tree care.
