I had the pleasure of working with Nicholas Dunmire. Nick was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job. He was great to work with and really showed concern about ensuring everything was checked/safe. He presented reasonable pricing options for different services. The problem was addressed promptly and without any issues. Could not be happier with the experience. I know who I will call when I need electrical work.

I have worked with R and T Yoder for 20 yrs. I had a big problem to solve this time. Nick, worked with me on three occasions. He was professional, respectful and explained in detail every available option . He was very helpful and trustful. In my book he is a rockstar. I love this company and each employee was amazing. Eliza in the office, was so helpful and worked me in when I had this emergency.

We lost electric in our outlets in a part of our house and called R & T Yoder to schedule an appointment. 3 weeks was the earliest they had so we took the appointment based on the high reviews for this company. Today, I called to confirm what time they were coming and they didn't have me on the schedule so I expressed that I was worried and would now have to wait to get back on the schedule. Nope, they sent someone right away which was amazing! He arrived about a half hour after my call! Our technician, Jacob Wertz came and discovered a loose wire and fixed it. He also gave me a lot of reassurance on electrical fires. He went one step further by switching my light switches around when I just mentioned that I didn't like the way they were arranged. He is TOP NOTCH. Very friendly and efficient! So glad we called them and will definitely use this company again when the need arises. Thanks Jacob!!

Warning OUTRAGEOUS BILL!!!
ABSOLUTELY EXPLOITATION!!!
A $550 BILL for a $50 PART and 20 MINUTE service call!
CALLED for the 1st time for service, the RECEPTIONIST never mentioned a SERVICE FEE OF $200+! AFTER ARRON, THEIR TECH (very good) QUOTED $550 to replace a $50 PART, I called for management! 😡 NO ONE WOULD TAKE MY CALL and NO CALL WAS EVER RETURNED, I TRIED TWICE in 20 minutes! Beware!!! Don't get suckered or scammed like we did!

Just to thank Seth at R&T Yoder Electric for their recent work after my barn mounted dusk to dawn light went out. Seth inspected on 11/6/24, at which time advising that water was causing rust in the barn service box. He pointed out that the roof needed checked before he could proceed. He e-mailed proper proposals and didn’t pressure my response.
A check by Pioneer Roofing proved this to be the case. R&T held their proposal til after the new roof sheeting was installed by Pioneer on a cold 11/30/24.
On 1/3/25 the new box, light and panel work was completed by R&T.
Thanks also to Jennifer, their receptionist for her friendly assistance.

Elias and team did a great job installing our level 2 EV charger. Very pleased with the work.

This company was amazing. Very respectful & friendly. Darren & Larry took great care of us and got our new furnace in and the old one removed and hauled away. They did step by step instructions getting our phones linked to the new thermostat. I would totally recommend this company for all your heating/air conditioning, electrical or plumbing needs. Thanks guys!! Our house is very warm now

Love their service and especially their attention to detail and communications. I had John Minnick and Mike Z here performing annual maintenance on my 24 yr old furnace. They were thorough and informative. They were here for an hour and half going over everything. The $150 cost of the annual maintenance is well worth it, and it's very reasonable as well.

Josh ran all electric for our new screened in porch. He also hung our ceiling fan in the porch. He was extremely nice and professional. He did a great job. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. We would definitely recommend Josh and Yoder Electric!

I wanted to update my review. Although we had a bit of a rough start with the scheduling issues, the work that Tucker and Trent did amazing work and were so nice and knowledgeable. Thank you so much and I truly appreciate everything.

We had Josh Fout who did a great job of completing the work for the electrical installation at the house. His assessment skills, technical knowledge and professionalism are outstanding. Larry the tech who came to our house was knowledgeable & friendly. I needed something installed and he called the maufacturer to double check an important detail and got it installed quickly.
In 2024 I don't take it for granted that I'm dealing with an honest, proficient company so I'm pleased and can highly recommend them to anyone in the Columbus area!

Very happy with the service I received from Yoder. Good communication and easy scheduling. Larry was our tech, very patient, professional and knowledge. He listened to the concerns, performed a full diagnostic and had a clear discussion to figure out next steps and options. No pressure.

Josh with Yoder Electric provided exceptional technical service installing our new light fixture and also replacing a ceiling fan! Above and beyond was his customer service. I really wanted a different light fixture that came standard with the job and he dropped everything to go to Home Depot to get the light I wanted- at no extra charge! Thank you. Rarely am I brand loyal these days but I go with Yoder exclusively because I trust them.

They might be good at small jobs but don’t ask them to quote you on a New build they’ll rip your head off. They quoted me $55,000 to wire a basic 1900 square-foot ranch home nothing special standard lighting and that didn’t even include any fixtures was just the rough wiring and outlets they must think I was born yesterday And I waited Over a week to get the quote which was blatantly insulting.

Josh did a great job trouble shooting and finding the source of the problem. He was very considerate, friendly, and professional. He cleaned up any mess and returned the things he had to move to their original places. He answered all my questions, offered to check on another issue that I had, and said that the company would get back to me to schedule a solution to that issue. The price was reasonable as well. I highly recommend R&T Yoder.

Very professional and on time, but needed the taller ladder. Cost to change the bulb and fix the can light housing I feel was very over price.

Not sure how well they take care of their customers but I want to report that I was just driving home from a Christmas party @ 9:02pm on. Sunday evening and had a R&T Yoder work van @ 3" from my rear bumper for a couple of miles before he passed me. Very rude and dangerous. This was on Havens Rd in Blacklick, Ohio.
