Gabe and his crew were great to work with. They put together a nice design that has really improved the look of our property. The work was done on time, quickly and they have even been helpful with follow up questions after the work was complete.

Kleinhenz was recommended by a friend. I believe, especially for big projects, in the importance of Value instead of Cost. Given the size of this project, I got two quotes. While Kleinhenz was marginally less expensive, they won the business based on their professionalism. Clear, concise communication, defined start date and project time length, etc. I felt confident that they were a well oiled machine. Likewise the quality of materials, I later found out through talking with an acquaintance, is top-notch. The patio stairs they use are solid blocks, as opposed to using pavers, like most companies use, that will inevitably start wobbling.
They were very helpful in the actual design, thinking about factors I hadn't even considered. The 3-D renderings not only made the project more real and exciting, but it gave me confidence that we were on the same page and there weren't going to be any surprises.
Approx three weeks prior to the initial estimated start date, they solidified it and stuck to it.
When I saw what they accomplished on day one, I felt very satisfied with the decision I made. The owner checked in with me nearly every day of the project, happily answering questions and giving me peace of mind.
Near the end of the project, we threw them a curveball by asking for built in lighting for our new patio. They took it in stride, made the necessary adjustments, and even with that, they finished a day early.
They did a great job cleaning up, even going so far as to ensure that the kids playset was properly positioned to our liking. Watching my wife and I go back and forth, "how about here?" "How about there?", the crew, after a back-breaking day of work, was in good spirits and didn't show any signs of frustration.

I contacted Kleinhenz Landscaping to request a quote to redesign and transform our front yard. I had a great initial phone conversation with Gabe to schedule the appointment and had high hopes for this company.

Brian came to my home for the initial meeting. He indicated an approximate cost of the work and that they contract with a tree removal service to remove the trees. He stated that he would contact them to come out that week to view the work that needed to be done and that he would send both invoices at the same time. He stated that they make it easy on the customers by doing it this way.

The invoice came a week later and was over 50% high than he originally mentioned. There was no explanation as to why. The quote email also did not include the tree removal service and Brian instructed me to call them on my own. Even after trying to request the tree removal quote from the company they contract with, he refused to provide the service that he initially described.

Poor customer service from Brian. I would not recommend this company.

In the past two years I used Kleinhenz Landscape for 3 major projects. These included a design for a re-do of landscaping to replacing a retainer wall and paver sidewalk. Kleinheinz Landscapes did a great job. Part of job was to
remove a large slab of old concrete on the hottest days of the year.
Collin did it expertly and neatly and always with a smile! .They were careful to minimize lawn damage. They covered the lawn with plywood sheets and removed them every day. The patio pavers were nicely installed and all debris was removed. The cleanup was performed daily and the plywood was removed and replaced daily. A small amount of damage was reseeded. They exceeded expectations!
We are enjoying the new patIo and enhanced garden.

Gabe, Shane and the entire team at Kleinhenz were a pleasure to work with. They completed the job on time and on budget. Everyone from Kleinhenz was polite and friendly while they were at our home. We couldn't be happier with our new outdoor space. The kids are out there as much as possible and the entire family enjoys the patio!

After a brief consultation with Brian, he was able to capture and visualize all of our ideas / requests into a creative plan. This plan allowed us to make quick decisions. Our home is new construction so it was reassuring when they were able to relocate many of the existing shrubs rather than buy all new. We added light features as well. Very happy with the final outcome and have received many compliments from our neighbors. Looking forward to using our outdoor entertaining space this summer!

Without any hesitation, we would give 5/5 stars to Kleinhenz! We could not be happier with our exterior renovation thanks to their team. Gabe, Shane & their crew took down an existing patio and built us a new patio & (gas) fire pit. Additionally, they did new landscaping for us around the patio and mulching/spring clean up. Everyone that showed up to help with our project was friendly and professional- they came every day they said they would and our project was done quickly. From the beginning stages of design to the finished product, we’ve been impressed. Can’t say enough good things about this company, the owner, project manager, and crew!

I honestly can't say enough positive about Kleinhenz Landscape. Gabe and his entire crew are wonderful to work with. They completely tore out and put in its place a beautiful patio and landscape when we first purchased our home. Many contractors are difficult and stressful to work with... not Kleinhenz. They show up on time, do fantastic work, and clean up the site daily. In fact, we were so completely satisfied with that project and the end product that we hired them again the following spring to completely renovate the landscape of our entire home. Their pricing is competitive, their ideas are fresh, and I wouldn't hesitate to give their name or serve as a reference to them anytime on any project. I only wish that every contractor was as delightful and worry-free to work with.

Gabe and his crew were very professional and courteous throughout our construction. Their design solutions were amazing and even incorporated future ideas to help us visualize our long term ideas.
