We've been calling Metro Comfort Systems for our furnace and a/c needs for several years now. Jim and the crew are always so knowledgeable and professional. They've also been quick to come out for emergency service, which is nice when your heat goes out in the dead of winter! I always recommend Metro to our friends and neighbors.

Needed a furnace replaced over Christmas. Jim Fry & Metro Comfort Systems came thru to get it done. They are real professionals - such a pleasure to work with people who respond to your phone calls. Jim kept me informed every step of the way. They put my original systems in 22 years ago, & I have used no one else. I highly recommend them.

Best repair/ installers in the business, had another company come out and check my AC, wanted a second opinion. Called Metro and Jim came out and set me straight and saved me tons of money. Do not go anywhere else but here, you will not be disappointed.

These guys saved me when I woke up with no heat. Jimmy was out within 2 hours, did some troubleshooting, then spent about an hour finding me a new furnace that could be installed the next day when I told him I had to go out of town for working in 2 days. I believe the installer was Branson and he was excellent. They got me all back and ready to roll quickly and efficiently. If you need HVAC service, I couldn't recommend them anymore.

Metro comfort is awesome! They are informative and honest, polite and clean. Jim is great and Matt, who replaced our furnace, was super too. Kim, who runs the office, is always so polite and helpful. Won't ever use anyone else for heating and cooling as well as recommended anyone else.

Jim from Metro Comfort Systems just left my house and it was so refreshing to speak with someone who was honest, non-pressuring, and respectful! I highly recommend this company for your AC and heating needs. They were able to come out the same day I called, and they worked very diligently!

We woke up on a Saturday morning to find our furnace was not working. It was 2° outside. I initially called Buckeye Heating and Cooling and they said I would get a call back within an hour and they would then give me a 3-hr window later in the day. I then called Metro Comfort Systems and Jim was literally in my house working on the furnace 35 minutes later. Additionally I had an issue with my fireplace that I brought up when he was on his way out. As a courtesy he helped me out real quickly with that as well. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I won't be calling anyone else for my heating and cooling needs.

Metro Comfort Systems has been our heating and cooling company since before 2004. Wonderful, talented folks to deal with. They never try to sell you something you don"t need. I give them the highest recommendations...five stars! Jim knew what the problem was within five minutes and fixed the problem within fifteen minutes. When it comes to businesses, I have often wondered whatever happened to customer service - you know - showing up on time, returning phone calls, doing the job right, etc. Well, Metro Comfort Systems has it! The courteous workers, efficient work practices, calling me back, following through with their promises was all very refreshing. I would not hesitate to recommend Metro Comfort Systems to everyone and anyone! They are truly a great company with great staff in a world where customer service has been forgotten. If you need a heating or air conditioning system or service, give them a call. I sure am glad I did!

All of you at Metro Systems have always given us excellent service. We began with you about 20 years ago and haven't ever stopped, even though we have been in three different homes! Jim Frey, Gary, Seth, Rick have always, always arrived when we had trouble with furnaces and air conditioners. They have put in at least three new furnaces in the huge home we had. We trust Metro Comfort Systems and all the folks who work in our homes, and we are pleased also with the office people, And we will stay with them!

First time customer of Metro Comfort Systems, and unfortunately lost the use of my furnace during one of the coldest days of the year. I spoke with Gary who set me up with an emergency appointment on the weekend. The crew was polite and fixed my issue in less than 15 minutes. I would highly recommend their service and I will continue to use them for my heating and cooling needs!

This locally owned company provides excellent service! Please give them an opportunity to provide a quote, as they offer very competitive pricing, and they are very responsive and helpful. We have switched to Metro Comfort Systems for all our HVAC needs.

- My point is that knowing the condenser was dirty, the technician should have cleaned the condenser first before running any testing. The call was for a tune-up, and not for the system not working to require upfront diagnostic testing. Being a non expert, I knew that the condenser needed cleaned, so I’d expect an expert to know there is no point running diagnostic testing prior to cleaning.
- I didn’t call to resolve the issue because I thought it was the owner who came out and didn’t see what good calling would do.
- It might have been 3/4 hours instead of 1.5 hours, my point being that it was unnecessary work and billed differently than a standard tune-up, which it should have been.

They use a bait and switch (give you a lower quote to get you to hire them, then charge you a higher price) system to scam people. Used them last year for AC tune up. When I called, they told me it would be a flat rate fee for AC tune up. Then when the owner came out to do the tuning, I told him as soon as he walked in the door that there was dirt in the condenser from being new construction that needs cleaned out (condenser cleaning is standard with AC tuneups). After he was done, he charged me a “hourly rate” instead of the flat rate, and made it seem like he was doing me a favor by not charging me a “diagnostic rate” because he had to diagnose why the numbers were higher which was due to the condenser being dirty. I told him that from the beginning so not sure what he had to diagnose. Wasted time doing that instead of doing the standard cleaning and ended up charging me for 1.5 hours. Ended up paying what the other companies were charging as a flat rate for tuneup. Do not recommend for the dishonesty.

Isn't it great when you FINALLY find a company that knows what they are doing, delivers on what they promise, and you feel you got a fair deal on the service? Metro Comfort Systems is that for HVAC and is truly best I have experienced. Gary, the owner, personally came to my rental unit on a holiday (4th of July) to get my A/C recharged and running last year. Since then, Jim came and got the problems resolved at another rental. Today, my decades-old heat pump finally died at my townhouse. They gave me a great price and next day install on a new unit. VERY happy with their services and HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for the best.

Thank you Jim & Frankie! Our AC went out on one of the hottest afternoons in late August. We called Metro Comfort and they came out same day- we couldn't believe it! They quickly diagnosed the problem and got our system back up and running at a reasonable cost. We would not hesitate to use this company again in the future!

Our furnace was not working on December 23. This was the day that the winter storm hit the area, I called Metro Comfort that afternoon and they were able to send someone to our house. The technician, Branson, did a great job. He was professional and efficient. I will call Metro Comfort in the future. I really appreciate the quick response to our issue on a day when many others may have been experiencing heating problems due to the severe cold.

Urgent service need with furnace inoperable in winter on a Friday evening with the family out of town. Jim responded to our message timely and Brandon was on site by mid-day Saturday to replace a capacitor and get the system running. Full explanation of the issue with transparency on the potential for other issues (older unit), however, no pressure or sales pitch to do more than was necessary to get the unit back online. Highly recommend and will make Metro our first call for any future work and/or replacement unit.

My AC lines were freezing, called and got a same day appt. Frank and Jay showed up in the window of arrival and hooked up a gauge to test the refrigerant levels, I was 3 lbs short on a 9lb system. They added the needed refrigerant and saved me money by not charging for all three lbs or the diagnostic fee (had mentioned all of the issues and what I had done to ensure it wasn't just a simple diy fix like cleaning the outside unit, which I did). What would have cost me well over $700 at Logan A/C & Heat Services (mind you that they were the only ones who would price the refrigerant out over the phone besides Metro), with Metro, it was a little under $500 but Frank and Jay were so kind as to bring the price under $300 without me trying to haggle.

I cannot say enough nice things about a company that in this day and age, is knowledgeable to get the job done and while at a more than fair price.

Another great experience with Metro Comfort Systems. Found our A/C was not working and for service around 9:30 am on a Saturday morning. Jim arrived before 11 am, quickly diagnosed the issue, had the necessary part and completed the repair in about 30 minutes. This is very similar to the responsiveness several years ago when we had A/C issue. In every case we have found the work to be professional with honest and fair recommendations. Thank you!

He was honest and fixed my 30 year old furnace to get me through the winter and is giving me an estimate of a replacement system.
