I had a tree service give me a quote and then bail on taking out my tree. I needed my tree out and Ryan stepped in to help. He and his team showed up and were nothing but professional. They left the yard clean and I couldn’t be happier! If you are looking for a tree service that is honest and does great work, look no further!

Back on July 29th 2023 we had a tree fall in our yard. It was just a Saturday, no storms or wind. I caught it on our front door cam(attached). The tree had three main trunks instead of just one and one of those had fallen into our yard but amazingly hit nothing. Since I just needed to cut some branches off that were blocking the driveway and it was Saturday I called Dominic's tree service and left a message that it was not an emergency until Monday. Dominic actually called me back later that day and said he would stop out on Sunday. When he came out he showed me how the remaining trunks were also cracked and rotten underneath and in danger of falling over the main road, possibly hurting someone or worse. I have always used them in the past and are great and professional but when he gave me an estimate of $4,000 I looked for someone else, and that's were this saga began. I saw that Apex had a 5 star rating so I called them on Monday. The positive part of this review is that Ryan called me right back. They were in Kent that day and he said he would bring his crew by on the way back from that job since I told him I was worried it could fall over the road. When they arrived he saw the urgency of the situation and said they could cut all the branches off the trunk that was leaning towards the road, getting most of the weight off it, and then come out and finish the job the next day. He gave me an estimate of $3800($200 cheaper) so I agreed. Now the negative: The job was just like other tree cuttings I've had done. They brought out several trucks, guys, and a bucket truck. Unfortunately here is where they differed from Dominic's. When all that was left was two tall main trunks, instead of using a large boom to lift them onto a truck they felled them into my yard and then cut them shorter so their bucket could pick them up. When they were done there were huge holes and divots in the lawn because it fell close to the ditch and the grass was soft from recent rains. I complained and Ryan said he would come back with some topsoil and fill in the areas. The areas affected were so bad that I could no longer mow that area and could only use a weed trimmer on it. That was Tuesday August 1st. I contacted Ryan by text on August 4th to find out when he could fix the holes. He responded August 7th and said he would be out that week. It is now September 13th and still not fixed and no explanation. This is what happens when you're a trusting person and paid in full before the lawn got fixed. They have their money and I'm an afterthought. I've since had to order a yard of topsoil and since I don't own a truck, have it delivered. Which cost me an additional $70($35 delivery, $35 topsoil) and do it myself. In case you're wondering I'm 66 years old and don't do this kind of labor much anymore as you can imagine. I've documented everything with pictures and a video so anyone reading this can see that this is not an exaggeration or just an angry homeowner.

Update:
I kid you not, less than five minutes after posting this I got a response from Ryan at Apex apologizing and siting the usual; being super busy, and not enough help. Here's a business tip I got from my 30 years in the retail field: "If you don't take care of the customers you have, you won't have to worry about future customers. You won't have any".

1 year later update:
Never heard back from Ryan again. Still have a huge stump in my front bed because they didn't cut it low enough even though I asked them to do so.
I recently got an estimate to grind down the stump and they quoted me $800 because it was so large. And then your stuck with a huge pile of wood chips.

Apex Solutionz came out and removed 4 of my trees. Ryan the owner and his crew were all very efficient and professional. Would highly recommend. Great prices and great guys!

Ryan and his team did a great job for us. They cut down a tree, ground the stump and took down some large dead branches. They were friendly, professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. I would highly recommend Apex Solutionz Tree Service.

Ryan was responsive and scheduled us in the afternoon as requested. Team was professional and safe. They made quick work of our 80ft dying tree. They cleaned up the yard so well, there's less debris in it now than before they started. Highly recommend them!

Had a big tree die in my front yard. Called Apex and he quoted me a really good price for removal of the tree and grinding out the stump. When he and his crew showed up, they were very nice. Got right to work and in no time at all the tree was gone the yard was cleaner than it was before they got here, and the stump was ground out. Ryan and the crew from Apex did an absolutely amazing job on the removal of my massive Silver Maple. This tree had worried us for years that a storm would bring it down. I’d give an extra star if I could for Ryan picking up my cat who is too curious for his own good and bringing him to the house so he’d stay safe. ❤️

Ryan at Apex was fantastic! He came to the house art my convenience and went over my property and options. Provided me with 3 quotes that evening. I told them earliest possible convenience to get the work done, they showed up two days later after confirming an appointment and the work was done within an hour. Their invoice process was easy and all could be done over text messaging and following links to confirm or reject the quote offers. I would recommend Apex and particularly Ryan!

Apex tree service made my Christmas wish come true!!! They decorated the large pine in front of my house with beautiful lights. These lights stood up to the high winds and snow that we had so far. My neighbors loved it! Great, quality work at a very fair price!! I highly recommend them for any tree job!!

Would highly recommend this company they’ve removed two very large trees In a very tight area for us. They did an excellent job cleaned up everything as good as new when they were done.
