Reviews of local pros in Ravenna, Ohio

We had Rolling Stone install some trees at our new build, and we could not be happier! Derek worked with our budget and gave us the biggest bang for our buck. On installation day, the crew was very friendly and professional and gave us several ideas and suggestions. Derek also provided us with detailed instructions on how to care for the new trees. Great company and highly recommend!

Derek, Don, and team did an amazing job installing our brushed concrete patio. Ripped out an old deck and replaced it with a space we’ll spend all summer. Derek is the most receptive and accessible contractor I’ve ever worked with. Always texting or calling back promptly for any questions I had. That goes a long way with me, especially on a large project like this. Paused his whole crew on the job to let my wife and kids stamp their hands in the concrete. Graded the backyard well, planted new grass, left the yard in great shape after wrapping up. Couldn’t recommend Derek and Rolling Stone more.

Very responsible contractors who put in my sewer.

Attention to detail, prompt, clean, efficient.
Great overall experience.

Professional, clean, and quick work! We love our patio!

Great company with good quality work! Highly recommend to anyone looking to get any concrete work done

We have used J. Allen to widen our driveway at our prior residence, to create additional parking at our business, and as a subcontractor on many job sites. 👍👍

Fantastic job pouring the concrete floor! Great quality and professionalism. Highly recommend J Allen

Josh and his team are amazing! They help us on all of our excavation projects. I never have worry because the jobs always done right.

Uneven concrete driveway - removed and re-poured
Side walk up to front step and uneven front step - removed and re-poured
They did an amazing job! Everything looks great and the job only took a few days.

We had to convert our house from septic to sewer and J Allen did a great job at easing our stress, answering all of our questions, and getting the job done. Amazing company and staff that has gone above and beyond our expectations!

J Allen put in a stamped patio for us. Very proficient and dependable. They also went above and beyond what we expected from them by suggesting layouts and colors for our patio. We love our patio and will be choosing J Allen for all of our future construction needs.

Do you want someone that takes as much pride in your home as you do? Than jallen is the company you want performing all your concrete construction needs the attention to detail is next to none they went above and beyond to redo our carport patio doing dig out of the old they even found a foundation issue we had been fighting for years of water pouring in that we never knew where the issue was they fixed that and also ran a drainage ditch to divert any future water away from the house they went the extra mile to make sure we didn't face any more issues. They took care of us just like it was their own home and for that we will forever be greatfull. So for all your concrete needs they are only ones I'll call

Amazing service and work done! They just did my patio and I couldn't be happier with the customer service an the professional work done! Would highly recommend if you are looking to get work done! Photos will be added soon. Thank you J Allen!!

Had a 13x 20 driveway extension poured, Josh and crew went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend them for any concrete work needed. It was a pleasure working with them.

Amazing! Our neighbor referred us to J. Allen Contracting for the patio we wanted and we are so grateful he did. Very professional crew. They are very easy to work with and we couldn't be happier with the finished product.

Josh solved a problem with water funneling into my garage. He repoured my driveway to push the water toward my yard, so my freshly poured garage floor would forever stay dry. after a hard couple days of rain, problem solved. he has also done extensive work at our business pouring underground pits and multiple other jobs. his creativity comes through in all of his work. when you see his crew working josh is usually the one on his hands and knees checking the pitch to make sure its perfect and he also is generally involved in all the finish work his company does. I would highly recommend Josh for jobs big and small.

Highly recommend! The professionalism and craftsmanship is top-notch and the price was very competitive. We could not be happier with the finished product and the extra level of attention to detail. We had a vision for what we wanted and Josh came in and not only made it reality but also improved upon it. In addition, unprompted by us, he noticed something about the coloring in the original work that was not up to his standard and even after we paid and thought the job was done, he decided to come out and make it just right. It's clear he cares about the finished product as much as you do, and so if you need concrete work done, use this company.

The crew was amazing, professional and went over the top in attention to detail and clean up. Very informative and helpful throughout the entire process!! Couldn't be happier with how the patio and driveway extension turned out! Highly recommend these guys for any of your future patio projects!!

Wow, what amazing work. The group over at J Allen knows how to create beautiful concrete designs for a great price. I had them do a stamped patio and driveway for my home, and it came out better than my expectations. They were extremely professional, responded in a timely manner, and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend them to family and friends.

J Allen poured our front porch this summer and the experience with them was outstanding. They showed up on time, were very clean, and had the job done in two days. The porch is beautiful with a rustic edge finish and we love it!
