Terrible customer service. Evertime I go there they are never busy yet you can't find a worker half the time and they don't call and let you know if your order is in or not. The older women that work there have no clue what they are doing even when you stop in they tell you they will have someone call you because they can't answer your question. I ordered flooring and it was supposed to be in within two weeks I have had to call and multiple time on when it will be in and the date keeps getting pushed back. Workers have no care for the inconveniences that are caused. I only came here originally to get more flooring to match the rest of my house that the previous owner had put in but at this rate I see I should have gone else where even if I had to put in all new flooring of the house. For the prices and inconvenience at this place I would not recommend wasting your time.

Steve, Treg, Bryce and Leon were fantastic throughout our carpet install project. We chose two patterned carpets from Shaw Floors and no one will ever know that there are seams! Our stairs were also carpeted exceptionally well with the "Hollywood Style" and binded edge to give the look of a high end rug down the center of our wood staircase. Craftstmanship, quality, Integrity and personability are what these guys stand for. I wouldn't hesitate to call Rufener's for any of your flooring needs!

The slogan “Buyer Beware” should be the motto for this business. Be sure to do your due diligence – this is the best advice I can give anyone when considering any flooring purchases from Rufeners. They will not stand by their products nor their installation. I had carpet installed and went with premium Karastan products. You can see every seam with very noticeable peaking in the carpet, which the owner Steve said was ‘perfect’ and normal. According to online articles this is a sign of a poor installation job. That is a major red flag and should be the main reason to stay clear of this place. The carpet was brought to the house on 2 rolls and you could visually see a color difference between the rolls. In fact the installer noticed this as well but was told on a call to the owner to install it anyways that it would be fine. The patterned dining room carpet is skewed to the room and not square to any single wall. I anticipated some scratches during install, this is to be expected with carpet installation, but they excessively marked up all the baseboard, stair risers (badly), walls and even doors as they attempted to remove hinges and door stoppers, well beyond what any consumers would consider normal for carpet installation. They left nails for tack strip protruding above carpet. And the owner has a bit of a temper and will not do anything when, not if, you have an issue, other than make threats of liens and offer up zero resolutions. He will disagree with any issues you raise and say he can’t see it. It’s a no-win situation unless you are lucky enough to get a decent installation upfront without the need for any follow-up. Being that the peaking on all my seams is considered normal according to Mr. Rufener, just be sure you will be ok with this if you decide to try them out. If you get the same subpar work I did, you’ll be stuck with little recourse. I would never recommend this business to anyone.

This place is a joke!!! Steve's customer service skills are nonexistent. He measured floors himself. They didn't have enough to finish bathroom. I ask for discount $50 they were also hour and half late. Hopefully flooring is in Monday. Steve has temper over the top. What is the recourse please read other reviews.

I just recently had wood flooring put down and I couldn't of picked a better place to go and the work was excellent and everyone was very nice. Also ordered living room furniture and it is very nice furniture. I would recommend them to anyone looking for QUALITY WORK AND AFFORDABLE FURNITURE.

We had a horrible experience with Rufeners. We had carpet installed in four rooms. Three were good. Our living room was terrible. The seam was put around 3/4 if the way into our living room. It was dark and could be seen very visibly. Anyone who entered the house asked about it. After several phone calls, Treg came out and cleaned the seam. It didn’t help. He told us not to pay the bill until his dad looked at it. After several more calls and 3 months later, Steve came out. He was very hostile toward my husband and was in his face screaming. My daughter who was here recovering from surgery asked him to leave twice. He steamed the carpet and told us we were going to have to deal with it and left. We paid the bill but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Due to covid related shipping delays, we waited several months for the replacement part for our recliner. Your company kept us informed as things progressed. Thank you for the timely response to installation. We are very pleased.

Some years ago we bought a Dutailier glider since they were the local dealer. We had to order it in order to get the exact configuration. The buying experience was very good.

I recently stopped in to look at some flooring. They had most of the lights off in that area of the store when I arrived, but they did turn them on for me. They had the Mannington LVT that I wanted to look at on display, so that was nice. They have a decent selection of other flooring too.

I realize Rufener's is a small local retailer that is likely struggling like so many others. But they really need to invest some money in good LED lighting, something with a high CRI so you can get a real idea of colors. Their old HID lighting makes it impossible to get a true feel for the colors of their wares.

Rufener's recently installed wall to wall carpet in my family room. I could have purchased the same Mohawk "Silk" carpet elsewhere but after having had an extraordinary experience when they previously installed carpeting for me, I looked forward to a seamless, hassle-free purchase once again. Their price is fair, the workmanship is excellent, they allow borrowing samples to make sure I was getting exactly the right color for my expensive investment and their sales consulting was spot on...helpful when help is asked for. No pressure and no big box ambivalence.
I have a hernia making moving heavy furniture a problem. These folks did it all quickly and efficiently and even hauled a large rug upstairs that had previous been on the floor.
If you enjoy a quality experience from initial visit to installation Rufener's is the place to shop. If you are the type who doesn't care about personalized service but will go elsewhere to save a nickle a yard, you are better off with the box stores.

Awesome people. Treg and the team there are fantastic. Excellent customer service and support. I had an issue with my floor (not the install but the product) and they were there the next day to fix it. Highly recommended.

Had them put in flooring 20 years ago and still looks great. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. Had them install carpet for me 2 years ago as well. Very professional, fast and particular. Couldn’t have done a better job. HIGHLY recommend.

Rufener's installed my upstairs carpet a few months back. I love it. They did an amazing job and the prices was way better than competitors. Also, the installers were very respectful of my home, and they were quick and efficient. I will happily use them again and heartily recommend them.
