Cody was wonderful! My husband and I were on vacation when our daughter called and said our house was only at 62 degrees. He came, called and told us what he had to do so we could okay the fix. Unfortunately, something was still wrong and he had to comeback a 2nd time that night to see what was going on. He fixed the problem and by the time we got home a few hours later our home was nice and warm.

These guys are ALWAYS great. Today Seth was so thorough, friendly and explained everything (in teams even I could understand)
Plus, We have 3 dogs which can be a challenge with a stranger in your home but today Seth won them over immediately. Thanks Schar for the great customer service and knowledge!

He was prompt and polite. He answered my questions and explained everything that he did. He provided a summary of the condition of the system and recommended surge protection which is an excellent recommendation. I paid for annual maintenance which includes 2 service visits.

Our furnace decided to quit during the winter storm of 2026. On top of that the forecast is Calling for temps below 0 to the teens this week. When I called Schar I thought they’ll schedule me in a couple of days which was fine by me instead, I was on their schedule the same morning I called. First class service call. Starting from the lady I talked over the phone to the friendly technician who replaced the igniter of our furnace. Highly recommend this company.

Not happy with the service we got from tech who came to work on our furnace. Said he had bad news for us that our furnace needed a new circuit board and it was going to cost $1200 for a new board and it wasn't worth fixing it and we should just get a new furnace @ approximately $3000. My mom is 80 years old and disabled and needs heat to stay warm not to just be put off. I got the furnace fixed by myself and I have no experience in HVAC. Go figure!!! Cost me 0 dollars to fix with not needing any parts at all. Cost $99 for nothing to have a tech come out. My mom is on a fixed income and don't have money to just throw away. I'm not happy at all with this company.. shame on you guys!!!!!! Sorry for the bad conversation and don't like to complain but this is wrong and needs to be fixed with techs that know what they are doing. Not trying to be mean just saying.......

Called after business hours, left a message, and got a return call early the next morning! A technician was able to come out that day. Our tech, Cody, was knowledgeable and thorough! He helped resolve the issue and provided additional recommendations for our system.

Unbelievably thankful for the professional and prompt service. Came out on a Saturday, during an awful cold snap, within a few hours when our geothermal went out. Nate diagnosed the problem in under ten minutes, and had us up and running again. We are extremely grateful for the quick and courteous call, cannot recommend Schar enough.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the service! Our builder went with Schar Heating and Cooling and I am thankful they did. Scheduling is a breeze, their techs have all been awesome to work with, and their GPS program to not only tell you who your tech is but shows you their location is top notch. I highly recommend!

Technician and sales representative were extremely professional and informative. Listen to all our questions and answered to the best of their ability. We are getting a new system installed by this company and we are hoping our experience will warrant another great review
This is an update on our review. Geno and Kevin completed the installation of our HVAC system on Monday, 18 August. Could not be happier with our new system or the service and installation that we received I would give them 5 1/2 stars if there was such an animal.

Cody provided us with a timely diagnosis and resolution to the issue that we were facing with our furnace. Cody was extremely helpful in explaining the issue and was extremely friendly during the time he was at our house. He answered all the questions that we had regarding our furnace even if they weren’t related to the issue we had. We appreciated Schar’s quick response helping us during our time of need and Cody was extremely helpful.

Daren was very thorough and knowledgeable when he came to give us an estimate. The installers were nice and considerate. They didn't leave a mess. Their communication was top notch. I didn't know Schar at all before we got a new HVAC system installed but they are high integrity people

Damien arrived on time. He was very polite friendly and professional. Honest opinion of what was needed. No pressure. Provided excellent service! I was very satisfied with with Schar Heating and Cooling and will continue to use them.

I have had Schar replace and repair numerous heaters and HVAC units over the years at the business I manage. They are always very fast, prompt, and fair on pricing. Their communication is top notch as well. Just recently, I used them for a personal heater install in my shop. Neil was great in providing his estimate, as well as recommending what I truly needed and not upselling. The installation techs were respectful, clean, and did an amazing job to get my shop heater installed and running. I won't use anyone else for HVAC needs going forward!

I have worked with Schar on commercial installations in downtown Wadsworth since 2017 as well as my own recently installed residential HVAC system ( & water heater ).Between Daren coming out for my quote to Cody & Austin on the installation side, everything was done professionally & completed it just two days. I highly recommend Schar for any residential or commercial applications.

Y'all need to slow down on Brookside Blvd... The drive thru will have your beer and lottery when you get there. My son and dog deserve to be safe in their front yard.

Had a new furnace put in. They did a great job. Would recommend them. My husband (Greg) also has them do repairs at his place of employment..

Showed up on a sunday in the winter when we didn't have heat and then came for a tune up over the summer to make sure we are good for the winter. Great guys super helpful. Also fixed our A/C when we first moved in.

Called Bratchers & Sons because our AC unit wasn’t turning on. Carl came out the next morning and did a diagnostic and found the problem right away. Said I could fix it myself if I wanted to and talked me through any questions I had over the phone during the repair. Only charged for the diagnostic which was at a great price. Very knowledgeable, friendly and honest company. Will definitely use again in the future if needed.
