My wife and I have worked with Barbara Stowe at Lee Meier a couple of times the last few years with various projects around our newly acquired home. Projects ranging from a whole new design of our basement, to new lighting and furnishing in our living room, to picking a paint color for our dining room. No project was too large or small.

You couldn't ask for better customer service or design insight than what Barbara provided. She worked with us countless hours to find just the right items that fit into our budget. Barbara was also very respectful of our tight budget, timely with answering our emails, and was flexible with timing to meet up to discuss design options. My wife and I both work and have two small children, so our window of free time is limited.

Truthfully, based on how many hours Barbara spent with us I feel that we could have paid considerably more for her services and it still would have been a bargain.

I had the pleasure of hiring Lee Meier Interiors, Barbara and Christina for home renovations. The work ranged in electrical, wall décor, lighting and fixtures, draperies, kitchen table and chairs, furniture coverings, flooring, plumbing (new toilet and sink), wallpaper, painting, fireplace renovations, and more. The best advantage of working with Barbara and Christina was that I was not overwhelmed with choices. They came over, took notes of everything I wanted to change, offered input – which was worth going this route alone – discussed budget, time frame, etc. Another visit incorporated choices to choose from on display so I could visualize the entire room before any work was started. Next came scheduling all the workers who had a wonderful rapport with the company and reputation. The timing of the work was impeccable. We were hardly inconvenienced living in the home and I looked forward to each day at what new changes had been made. Lee Meier Interiors can work with any budget. Too many special touches to list, but so appreciated. The middle man is cut out of this process and therefore the savings passed on to the client. The store looks small on the outside but filled with so many wonderful unique, high quality works of art. I'm so grateful this company came recommended by a friend. I plan to hire for future projects.

I first worked with Lee Meier 24 years ago when I built my house and recently engaged Barbara for a major refresh. Green is my favorite color and she found unique ways to incorporate different shades throughout my home. I loved the original kitchen wallpaper and the workers were able to demolish that room and keep the paper intact. She finds the most unique furniture, like my black lacquer desk with dragonflies and butterflies. For the furniture with ‘good bones,’ she had them reupholstered. Barbara has the utmost integrity. She’s perky, thoughtful, and a great listener. It’s a joy to work with her and her whole team.

When we moved from an 1,100-square-foot apartment in NYC to a 4,000-square-foot house in Lakewood eighteen years ago, we knew we needed help furnishing it. Luckily, we turned to Lee Meier and their wonderful team of designers. Over the many renovations and updates since, Paul has always been a great listener and incredibly skilled at respectfully drawing out our vision—not imposing his vision on us. He has helped us with so many of the big things and the little touches that make our house our home. Some of my favorites are the black tooled-leather semainier he found to fit an odd space in our dressing room, the perfect color palette he chose for a seamless guest suite renovation, and just the right, subtle alternative to cover the unwanted dark green and burgundy border in the kitchen. He and Natalie continue to help us as we are currently refreshing the kitchen, and also making plans to remodel the master bathroom. They are both so honest, kind, and authentic. What could be a daunting experience is like play to me and I look forward to working with them on every project!

We live in Florida and hired Natalie to completely refurnish our penthouse condominium in Cleveland. With a tight deadline of three months, Natalie did a great job selecting coastal colors, furniture, fabrics, and lighting. Even with all the floor-to-ceiling windows and steel accents, which can make a space seem cold, it still feels warm and welcoming. The stunning focal point is a scattering of turquoise stones along the staircase wall. We’ve built five homes over our lifetime and know how stressful the design process can be. Natalie listens so well and never gets frazzled, even with impossible deadlines. She captured exactly what we wanted.

When we planned to move into a brand-new house and were expecting twins, I knew I needed help designing and furnishing it. Natalie was the perfect choice. She is extremely personable and cheery and very responsive. She stayed on top of all the manufacturers to ensure delivery was as prompt as possible. From furniture and light fixtures to wallpaper and window treatments, she transformed just about every room. Our master bedroom, with the custom-upholstered bed, is a sanctuary of peace. Natalie brought our vision to life.

Natalie Rich is a pleasure to work with. She coordinated the complete remodel of our kitchen and family room. Her decorating taste is amazing. I can't wait to use Lee Meier again for our next project.

Our realtor recommended Natalie Rich of Lee Meier to help us in developing plans for decorating our newly built home. She was extremely helpful from the reviewing the plans for the house to picking out furniture. She helped assure electrical, lighting and other items were both adequate and in the right places. She would identify several options for colors, light fixtures, textures, etc. to minimize our time as well assure everything fit together. We were very happy with the results and would recommend Natalie for any decorating project.

Long overdue review. From start to finish for our attic remodeling project completed last Spring for our 100+ year old Lakewood home , Rob and his team were professional, responsive, transparent, and timely in all aspects of the process. Starting with the quoting process, we received quotes at different price points depending on the scope of work that could be done, and we were provided feedback of the pros and cons in going with different options without feeling like we were being "upsold" to the higher priced options. We sat on the quote for about a year before we made a decision to go with Big Bear. Throughout the project, we received regular updates on progress, including a weekly itinerary to allow us to prepare as needed for the week ahead. Because most of the work was done "in-house" through the Big Bear team rather than through sub-contractors, they were generally able to stay on schedule. Having gone through other remodeling projects for our older home, issues popping up are nearly inevitable, but Rob and his team were quick to address any issues, questions, or concerns that came up throughout the renovation. Nearly a year after the project was completed, Rob reached out to make sure we were satisfied with the project and if any touch up was needed. They were quick to come out to fix a seam in the ceiling that had slighly opened up. We will look at using Big Bear again as we determine any future projects on our home.
