This company had exceeded expectations of people all over. The attention to detail and they way that they listen to what the customers needs are what I feel is what makes a great company !!!! I would recommend them to anyone .

Very unprofessional called three times to set up an appointment call's were returned making a time to show up never showed up or called to say they were not coming wasted 3 days waiting on him and has never tried to reschedule

This is the second time I have used Hartford fencing and. I can’t tell you how happy I am with the outcome. They are quick and efficient, I didn’t have any issues either time. Had a free estimate scheduled with these bums. No call... No show. Then the owner has the audacity to be rude and say that my business does not matter. Well... Looks like someone isn't getting any at home. So glad my family and I dodged a bullet with these trash people. You would have to desperate to contract people like this. They will scam you... And then steal your money every chance they get. STAY VERY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.... I am a very fair and honest person. And I deal with people accordingly how they deal with me. This company is bottom barrel. They will never make Forbes top business list.... So thankful you all didn't show up. We don't like trash lingering around our property.

I would never recommend this company. They do not return calls in a timely manner and they scheduled my fence installation without letting me know the date. The fence installation was adequate. They left three posts with half cuts through them because they claimed to run out of power. I was told they would be back the next day to finish the posts and they never showed up. The gate is not a gate but a section of the fence with a hinge and latch. This "gate'" barely opens as it drags on the ground, the wood is splitting and the gate is sagging from improper installation. And cigarette butts were left in my driveway. I took their name plaque off my fence because I sure do not want to advertise this company to anyone I know.

Reached out for a fencing estimate. The initial reply was quick, however after several attempts to contact the owner afterwards, being told he’d call back, receiving a short email with little information back - it was clear he was uninterested or unable to complete a larger install. It would’ve been more professional to simply state he was not interested in the job rather than waste my time with games. Sadly, unprofessional contractors seems to be the norm in the Toledo area.

Very unprofessional and unresponsive! I wish that I would’ve read the reviews first! I’ve been waiting for almost a month for an estimate! Every week it’s another excuse! A simple I don’t want to come and give an estimate instead of wasting my time would’ve been appropriate! Not even a call to say that they can’t make it after already standing me up! So unprofessional! I should’ve knew something when it sounded like the man answering the phone was drunk! At 9am! Don’t waste your time! Or energy on this company!

Showed up early to give me a quote, I wasn’t home yet. Called the when I got home and they said they would be back in 30 minutes. Never showed. Very flaky unprofessional company. If this is how they treat customers for a quote, glad I didn’t give them any money

I thought the It was a pretty good job until 2 days later when I went out and checked it and found out that they had cut off 250 sq. ft. of my yard by moving the fence in 2 1/2 feet from the property line where the original fence was. This decision was made without consulting me. The owner made this decision without consulting with me and never told me about it until after I called him to find out why he had arbitrarily moved the fence in two and a half feet. I was told they had to move the fence in because of electrical wires in the ground. I had it check out. There were no electrical wires buried in that area.

Got my fence from them in April 2021. They left a gap in the corner(still there) ...numerous places a with screws missing...gate warped in just a couple weeks. I called them back and reported the issues they came back and fixed a few things...left alot undone I messaged them again and they blocked me on Facebook and didnt return my calls. Still finding panel's that had one or 2 screws missing that I had to spend more money just to put screws where they needed to be. They inverted my gate which seemed like nifty idea at the time but put the latch on backwards so when the wind blows it opens even when "locked" and the bar that goes in the ground they put more toward the hinges instead of the middle of the gate and stripped in all to hell ...so I screwed it shut with 1x3s until I need to use it. I feel like 2 years is plenty of time to call me back. Just realized youwere on Google so here's your review -_-

These guys do great work. We had a great experience. Communication was great, Todd came out and gave us a quote within a few days of calling, gave us a start date and he had the job completed in two days. Todd and his crew were professional, knowledgeable and great to deal with. We couldn’t be happier with our fence and the the entire process. I would definitely recommend Hartford Fencing.

They did fantastic work for us!! Over 100 ft of wood privacy fence and a custom double gate done in one day! Not to mention next to trees with lots of trees roots and things in the way. Their price was also almost half that of the other big company near us . Professional and efficient.

I’ve been wanting my fence done for some time now. I have been constantly putting it off because I wanted to choose the right company for the job. Last thing I wanted was to pay all that money and get a hack job. I am so glad that I waited and did my research because it led me to this company and they were phenomenal! Im very happy with their service and how everything turned out. Also very nice clean up from the crew once the job was completed. HUGE plus for me!! Thanks again!!
