I called to receive an estimate to remove a large silver maple, The representative arrived as scheduled but did not leave an estimate and after 9 days I'm still waiting. Don't bother!

I did not have a good experience at all. They over charged me, they cut the tree wrong, and the communication was absolutely terrible. I had to call multiple times to get the service completed. Went with another company and they are wonderful. I’ll never use or recommend Davey ever again.

JR and his team provided excellent service! They did a very nice on all of the pruning and left our property very clean, we will definitely use them again.

They quoted me, over $9000 to have one tree removed, another $1700 for a large limb that fell off the existing tree, and then another $2000 to have a additional mid sized tree removed. Oh but I forgot if I kept the wood it would have saved me about ten percent or less of the cost. Had another company come quote the same job and it will all be done for $5600.

This business has worked with us for over a year as we worked together to make the trees on our campus healthier and to plant new trees. Their advice has been great and the trees are now healthier than ever.

JR came out and with his knowledge helped me to find my best solution for a small stump removal and to get a quote for a larger tree overhanging my house. I just received the quote in a timely manor.

Cannot recommend. They don’t use their turn signals so I wouldn’t trust them around my trees if they don’t even know how to drive.

The worst they cut the townhouse I stay and for the past month they have only took one pass in the backyard and the grass is ankle high now and other spot are low not a good look at all

What a nightmare. Met with consultant 3 times. 3 times out of my work schedule. Waited 3 weeks for appt. Said 1 day, took 2. Never took branch down that was 1 of 3 agreed on. Consultant does not do the work. He said they only have 4 staff members. So upset, ruined garden of 20 years for such terrible results. Took garden shade branches that were supposed to stay. Left dangerous limb so that I have to hire another company now. Will not deal with such unprofessionalism again
Twice the time and half the job. Expected so much more for such high dollar quote and an established name. Hire local. Small shop, can't get worse than Davey.

Called on Monday to set up a stump removal of a small tree and was told it would be removed by Friday. Called Thursday afternoon to confirm that they would still be out by Friday and I was told yes they will have the stump removal equipment out at some point Friday but that they could not give definitive time.
They never showed up.
Called Saturday morning and asked why there was still a stump in my yard and was told that they could be out Monday.
Davey Tree service is unreliable.

Consistent, thorough, always on time, pleasant, and cleaned up [even the street that had debris from our trees]. The other recent service was fertilize my 4 large maple trees. On time, pleasant, thorough, and is mindful of my garden areas so as not to step on the flowers peeking out.

This company was courteous and professional. It’s been quite a while trying to find a tree company that would help me with a fallen tree and debris. They were punctual and did a great job even with the clean up!
I would not hesitate to call them for any further needs.

Davey Tree did an excellent job with trimming our osage orange and a large maple tree. They were professional, came on time, and it looks great. I will definitely call them the next time I need work on trees!

We have worked with Jr Davis, of Davey tree, for a few years now. They have treated our lawn and shrubs, removed a tree, ground out the stump, and transplanted a new tree. Jr was very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional through the entire process. I highly recommend them, and Jr for any work in your yard or business!

I have a property with many trees. A month ago, I contacted Davey Tree to provide a quote to prune six trees. It took 3 weeks to get on the schedule, and despite being told they would call as soon as I was on it, I had no idea they would be coming until I had to email asking for an update. Once the date of service neared, I noticed that the weather forecast for the day didn't seem super great in the evening, and emailed several days before asking what their policy was when it rains, as I would be taking the day off to oversee the service, and have a dog who is a bit skittish when it comes to very loud noises and needed to have her go elsewhere for the day. I never heard back. I was told the team would be here between 8-9am. No one showed up. I called the customer service number, and was told by the receptionist that the job was on the schedule, but to contact their branch manager to confirm. I was provided his cell phone number and after no answer, left a voicemail. Still nothing. If the team could not come out due to inclement weather, it would have taken 60 seconds to call and explain the situation. With a $2300 quote, I figured I could at least expect that type of customer service. Make this right, Davey, or cancel my scheduled service altogether, as I do not want to give my money to a company who can't even bother to contact their customers about the status of their service.
