Beautiful work. Trimmed a Japanese Weeping Cherry tree that was grossly overgrown. Made it beautiful w/out over pruning. They knew what they were doing. Removed bushes and cleaned debris nicely and trimmed a Japanese Red maple. All nicely done.
They’re busy so my scheduled day was delayed a day and ½ but so worth it. They’re meticulous.

Charles and his crew did a great job. I had trees trimmed and one removed. The crew was polite, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I would definitely recommend and use again for future jobs.

We are very pleased with the service we received from Davey Tree Service. Our lawn was aerated and reseeded and overseeded in some areas. The job was very thorough. This was done about the middle of October 2020. We will see the results in the coming months. I plan to contact Davey Tree Service soon for some others services they have quoted us.

Davey tree gets my 5 stars for the entire service I recieved. From the initial phone call to the office, her quick dispatch to the sales team, Mike's quick response, and the crews impressive work that was done on a weekend for a time sensitive project. The crew left my fathers home better than they found it. M I initially called from the West coast to assist my father in managing the project. I use davey tree in Seattle and was pleased to know that the reliability and professionalism extends through out the country. The team in Toledo really went above and beyond just as they do in Seattle. BIG THANK YOU Davey Toledo.

This company is deplorable! I have contacted them 17 times since May. They came out to remove 16 stumps which I paid for plus got a nice gift from them on the side of my house, the stump removers removed more then my stumps they damaged the siding of my house! I have been patient and kind and understanding through it all but they have not responded to any resolution in this matter. I am sorry to say I will never use them again and I am so disappointed that I had to turn to my own insurance company to subrogate this situation. Not what I expected from this company. They should of taken responsiblity for their workers damages. Neg 5 Stars in my book. Just disgusted.

I had called Davey so I could get my property looking perfect to sell my house. JR came out and was very knowledgeable and professional. He got me over my estimate very quickly and had our service scheduled quickly as well. We loved the service we received all the way around and would recommend to all of our family and friends!

I've received expert advice and service from Phillip Vance. On a most recent event, I had a huge mulberry branch fall . I notified Phillip and he was at my house the next day. I so appreciate the professional and prompt service. He took the time to explain possible reasons for this huge branch falling as well as explaining the continued services for my evergreens. I've used other tree service companies and they were not prompt nor did they explain evergreens tree fungus. I look forward to continued services with Phillip Vance and davey tree company. Davey has cared for our trees and shrubs for years. We recently needed them to remove a dead medium sized tree in our back yard and an overgrown arborvitae hedge. The rep discussed and explained the project with us, gave us an estimate, and scheduled a day. The crew arrived on time on the scheduled day and took care of the job professionally and in short order. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with, and they even saved a section of the tree trunk for my wife to use as a stand for her anvil. The next step will be to grind the stumps where the former hedge was and replant. We look forward to working with Davey to pick an appropriate replacement.

Definitely a Five Star review for Steve and Cullen (Ryan's crew) for the tree removal and pruning at my home today. The results exceeded my expectations, and will greatly improve the appearance of the grounds around my home. Very impressed with their skill and hard work. They got a lot done in one day, and were a pleasure to work with!

I had a very positive experience with the initial visit, and the subsequent email providing information was extremely helpful. I particularly appreciated the thoroughness of the details shared and the impressively quick response time.

After making the initial call for an appointment for an estimate for tree trimming of 3 trees (two being very large), JR Davis came promptly at the appointed time. We discussed what would be needed. The estimate was emailed quickly (in about 2 hours) from the appointment. I approved the job and we set up a date. The work crews actually came a week early. They did a fantastic job trimming the trees in a few hours and cleaning up the debris. They were very courteous and answered my questions.

Thank you to JR and the crew for a very good experience. I have used Davey in the past for cabling on the large birch tree and trimming and will use them in the future. I highly recommend Davey Tree!

Driving down a back road. Your vehicle was doing 23 under the speed limit. I had right of way to pass. I tried, with a turn signal. The person driving your vehicle then swerved over the line and started driving on the opposite side of the road.
This is absolutely ridiclous and reckless. They then proceeded to slow down even more. Doing 27 in a 55. Then took a complete STOP in the middle of the road a mile later before finally turning. Fix this. Because next time i will be calling the police and your corporate office.

My family farms on these back roads. We drive bigger trucks and have Zero issues with maneuverability. I live on these back roads. I am NOT trying to die on them because some random man has a superiority complex while driving a truck.

They were supposed to trim several trees and shrubs on my property, grind stumps, haul brush.. After the two days of scheduled work I have trees that were never touched, trees that they did a completely inadequate job on, a hammock smashed to bits, and a removed gate (which they did) that I can't put back together by myself. Weeks later I get the bill, but the work was never finished. Their service rep came out today to inspect it, said he'd get a crew out here next week. Barely an acknowledgement of a job poorly done, no apologies, nothing about the destruction of my property. Go with another service if you want a job well done. I wish I had.

We had a storm come through and took out half of our front tree. It stretched out across the street. The Road Commission came and got it out of the road (kudos to the Road Commission) and I called Davey the next day. They had a crew already in the area and they cleaned up the fallen part and took the rest of the tree down. They were a little bit on the expensive side, but they were quick and friendly.

We had seven trees trimmed and shaped. We had a thorough walk around beforehand and an explicit estimate was provided prior to the work being done. The workers did a fantatic job on the trimming and all debris was cleaned up before the crew left. We would happily use the service again.

An oak tree’s branches from the apartment next door was taking up a lot of space in my back yard and blocking the sun for my garden. Phil Vance was great at getting things coordinated and Steve, Shane, and Cullen did a fantastic job and clean up!

I was very pleased with the work of JR and his crew! It was less than one week from the day of the estimate to the tree removal. I was expecting there to be weeks between the esitmate and actually getting the tree removed.

The tree was completely removed while I was at work. I told them to leave the tree on the ground and I would do the clean up. When I got home they had all the small branches cut off and piled up. Then they cut all the big branches into manageable pieces and neatly stack them up into two piles. I could not be more please with their work! Highly recommended.

Brian, Charlie, and Drake did a perfect job trimming a pine tree and felling a Maple tree in our backyard. From sales to execution, to clean up, and adding work at the last minute, we could not be more pleased with Davey Tree Service.

Recently I contacted Davey Tree Services for an estimate. Response was not only prompt, but Brady came to the home to listen and view my needs.
Once approved, two energetic workers (Brian and Drake) arrived - just before this damaging wind - and pruned my Crimson King Maple and 4 Canadian Hemlocks with the precision of a surgeon!
They spotted dead and crossed branches from 40 feet away and used a pole saw to expertly remove every one while almost silently communicating with each other about next steps and safety.
I do my own pruning and plant care, but these were beyond my ability. While working they shared their knowledge because I asked A LOT of questions, so not only do I now have a better view, and healthier trees, but also some tips!
My expectations were exceeded and now I have far fewer dead branches to pick up after these fierce winds. Thanks Brian and Drake!

Update: management has reached out to apologize for what had happened. They wish to continue working with me, I am having them out to reevaluate. The reevaluation went well, but their follow up was horrendous. I think I'm ultimately cutting ties with Davy.

I have had Davey tree come out and service our trees and shrubs for probably over 10 years now. While expensive, I have appreciated the work they do. This past month we got some major tree damage, so I had them out to give an estimate on how best to proceed if I wanted to keep the tree. The arborist that came out was very nice, and he took the time to consult with me on what we could afford. He left saying he would do his best to keep it affordable and once he was done looking into it he would send me an estimate. When the estimate arrived in my email I was dumbfounded.. $550 for 1 limb to be taken off and taken away, and $200 to spray the damaged area with wound care. I reached back out to get clarity emailing the arborist (a friendly but emergent request since the tree could sustain more damage if the limb broke free), when I didn't hear back after a couple of days I called the office. When they answered I stated my name and started to explain why I was calling and the line disconnected. Now it could have been an accident.. but I called right back and said sorry we were disconnected... again stated my name and reason for the call. She was curt, saying that was their price. I asked if they just trimmed the branch and I kept the wood if that would make it more affordable (after all a chainsaw would trim that limb in less the a couple of minutes) She remained curt, stating the price wouldn't change. Her attitude had me wondering if the first hang up was intentional after she heard who I was. Never before had an issue like this. They were always friendly.. this encounter has me looking for a different tree and shrub company to do business with from now on. Davey you have lost my business. Very disappointed.
