Bone Dry was a fantastic partner from beginning to finish of our total siding replacement. They promptly visited our home, provided quick turn around with a competitive quote, were open and available for all of our questions, and delivered when it came time for installation. The communication from first point of contact to final invoice / payment was seamless. Their crew was friendly, professional, clean, and thorough, from beginning to end. We are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them for your siding and roofing needs. Before (yellow) and after (modern iron) photos included! Thanks again to Austin, John, Michael, Kevin, and the rest of the crew!! (also, no affiliation at all with our last name. trusted referral source recommended Bone Dry and we were so glad we listened)

WOW they did an excellent job! I had never used Bone Dry before. Austin came out and really took the time to do a thorough inspection, answer questions, and patiently talked my through my options. He is super profession and so knowledgeable! That afternoon I had a detailed quote for the work. Michael and his crew came out to install my new gutters and make needed repairs. They were on time, professional, courteous, and did an overall excellent job. They ensured everything is done to my satisfaction. They completed the work, both new gutters and fascia repair, in one afternoon and my new gutters look great! I highly recommend Bone Dry and they will be my "go to" company now!

Bone Dry replaced our roof yesterday and did an amazing job: clear communication leading up to the job and lots of pictures / updates as they completed the project. The work was done within a day and everything was cleaned up perfectly! 10/10 recommend!

We research a few local roofers for our house. We were down to three and decided on Bone Dry. We have no regrets as of now. The salesman was Layke. He was very informative and showed us a few options. We chose the premium shingle .The crew showed up early and was finished in one day. The foreman Josh was on top of things the whole day. The cleanup was VERY thorough and could not find a piece of trash. My daughter is due for a roof next year and will recommend Bone Dry.
    Thank You All

Bone Dry Roofing is the only company we will use for our gutters and roof. They installed new gutters on our house last year and have come out more recently to consult an issue with gutters on an addition put on this summer (gutters on the addition were not done not by Bone Dry - lesson learned!).
Brandon R is the specialist we met with and he is great! Very easy to work with, transparent pricing, and went over all the options with us in detail.
Thank you Brandon and Bone Dry Roofing!

I need a roof! I’m sure that’s what everyone like me says when the drips come in, right?
I’ve had experience with Bone Dry over the past 25 years and now have had the wonderful opportunity to trust in their service and workmanship again on the West Side of Cincinnati!
From Mason to Monfort Heights, they have you covered, from start to finish, the team will see you through, they are built to exceed expectations.
Don’t take my word for it, do your homework and make sure you are comparing apples to apples because some contractors are slick and will say “ you don’t need that, I didn’t see that, I may be able to save you a few bucks there”, and I can also tell you how that works out!
Trust me on this and let me save you some Bone Dry Time. I am a past and current customer of full roof sheeting, tear-off and replacement, one home had a ridge vent install to upgrade its venting as I added a soffit makeover and gutters and my new roof is getting adequately spaced roof vents to work with the gables. Flashing to perfection, all sealed well, protection and cleanup done well, and follow-up to ensure that mgmt. is happy is there.

You all know the plane never leaves the ground without the pilot so Special Thanks has to go out to Emmalee Orlett who came out on a nasty day 12/24 to place a tarp on the roof (had a great attitude amidst bleak circumstances and a house with no heat) and then she and her office peeps put up with my requests and shenanigans for five months as I perused neighborhoods looking for the perfect shingle/gutter/siding/soffit/rake color. Just go with Onyx Black and/or listen to Emmalee and save yourself the frustration!
Emmalee wrote me an estimate to cover “what was absolutely necessary now”, what was “the upgrade from that point”, and/or could be done now or later but could/should “be considered” as they had some bearing on the home with other services, and what was “a premium add-on” with the explanation of “hey, you gotta lot of stuff going on so pay attention”, and don’t freak out but we are here for you if you want to go down this path at some time, and if you just want advise, we are here for that too! Where else do you get that?

Ask Caleb, He says he likely won’t see you and you likely won’t see him because he sneaks around to check job sites, material delivery, and also after job completion(he is kind of like a good boogie man). Let me tell you now, don’t be surprised to not only see him but learn that he comes from the Midwest, Missouri by the way of “Mizzou”, lives in and loves Cincinnati, has kids that take swim lessons. Now that I’ve met “the ghost” three times, I feel special and I even kind of like the guy, although I still want to say “Rock Chalk, Jayhawk” for all the KU people from the “True Midwest”! He is a great guy without a doubt and I appreciate all of his communication and coordination it took to complete my project.

Day of Josh and Crew prepped, stripped, cleaned, made, did, applied, nailed, sealed, cleaned, and got out like Pro’s do. These guys and gals were like watching a symphony from beginning to end. It was a miserable day, a Saturday, after they had been delayed two days due to heat and it was hot again. Come to find out, my job was the tail end of them working what was a long schedule and they approached it, attacked it, completed it, like it was day one. Thank you all!

Oscar Palacios came back to address my rakes and trim and had a job ahead of him due to “MY” electrical contractor moving inbound power high and wide right into the rake “after replacing the rake material was quoted” on the north side of the house.
Who complained or said we have to re-quote? It wasn’t Bone Dry or Oscar who stood on that 30’ ladder in 100 degrees trimming around live-wire in two spots, and fitting everything to ensure I had the best natural fit and best water drainage. Oscar said “I’m good, I got this”. Thanks Oscar!

So, go ahead, check the others or just call Emmalee and skip the chase.

I am not paid for this , but I would drive one of those fancy trucks if you had a spare Dodge?

    Bone Dry Roofing Review

This is a long review, but it’s my honest opinion. I’ve been struggling to find the right words to describe how pleased I am with Bone Dry Roofing, so here are a few: professional, honest, forthright, trustworthy, transparent, upfront, straight shooters, kind, genuine, subject matter experts, a family. Bone Dry took care of me from my initial phone call, through and after the work was completed.

As a first time home buyer, I’ve only owned this house for a year and, naturally, Helene came through and caused some bad leaks that insurance wouldn’t cover. This was one of the most stressful and expensive decisions I’ve had to make in my life, and Bone Dry got me through it in one piece.

You want John Strobl as your account rep/inspector/quote estimator. When I initially called, there was a 3 week wait to be seen, but Bone Dry said they could put me on their cancellation list. I never thought they’d call me, but they did and had an opening they could squeeze me in. This opening was because John decided to go out and help me on a day he was scheduled to be in office, because his office told them I needed help, and John wanted to give it. He has taken such good care of me, wrote accurate on the spot quotes, sat me down to go through expectations and what this process will look like, and was available to text and call as needed, even when I suspect he was off the clock. (John, I hope they pay you well and honestly, they should pay you more :p)

Anyways, I got six quotes from 6 roofers and John was the only one to quote me for a total re-decking (total replacement of the wood the shingles are nailed into). Everyone else included language saying any re-decking costs $XX per foot, which artificially lowers their quote. Watch out for this as re-decking is costly. John didn’t BS me and told me what needed to happen upfront and explained why, with supporting pictures. He was the only person to check under my 2nd floor siding and discovered there was no water barrier, so every time it rained, water would get in, even if I replaced the roof. He even noticed my bathroom was venting into my attic and said “while we’re at it, do you want us to vent your bathroom through the roof?” And of course I said YES! Like how did I not think of this myself?

All in all, John quoted me on a total roof replacement, recapping and tuck-pointing my chimney, and replacing and water proofing my siding. This total package ensured me that I won’t have to deal with leaks anymore. John understood my ultimate need, to not have to deal with water leaks anymore. And this need was met.

I’m truly blown away how fast everything was completed, and how well it was done. The first day they recapped and redid my chimney. The second day they totally replaced my roof on my house and my stand-alone garage. The third day they replaced and waterproofed my siding. The teams that came out were incredible and were obviously close with each other. My roof is steep, and they were working on it like it was nothing, like those mountain goats you see on Nat Geo.

Bone Dry keeps you up to date on every step, and took pictures at every step. They were extra careful with my safety and the safety of my neighbors and their property.

The only way I could afford this was through financing, which Bone Dry offers in house. I got a 10 year loan with okay rates, that is automatically paid to Bone Dry once your certificate of completion is given.

And lastly, the shingles Bone Dry uses are somehow warrantied for 50 years. I didn’t believe it but they showed me the paperwork. Pretty much any issues at all are going to be covered for the rest of my life.

Use Bone Dry Roofing. They’re worth the wait and if they’re a little more expensive, it’s because of genuine masterclass workmanship. I’m happy to be part of the Bone Dry Family. Thank you for taking care of me.

We have just completed a great experience with Bone Dry Roofing. We met with Joey Wardlow in early October for a proposal. Following a lengthy look at our roof, skylight, gutters, and attic ventilation We received a competitive price and a detailed step by step process of what they would do.

Two weeks later the installation crew was here at daybreak and finished by 4:30 the same day. That was impressive since they tore off the old roof, replaced the old plywood decking, installed a new skylight, installed new roofing, and cleaned up perfectly. Even more impressive was the care they took to protect extensive landscaping.

New gutters and gutter guards were installed the following day with the same professional care and attention to detail.
    We're impressed !

Bone Dry responded quickly to our needs to help remove our chimneys to repair two serious leaks. They were fast and professional. The progress updates throughout the day were especially nice to have. The replacement shingles matched perfectly. I highly recommend.

Bone Dry did an outstanding job with replacing my gutters. Quentin was a delight to work with during our interaction. He let me know how things were going every step of the way, kept me in the loop with photos/videos/updates and his team did great work. I will be recommending Bone Dry to anyone I can moving forward!

Bone Dry ripped off our entire roof, decking and vents included. They started on a Wednesday and completed the next day. They sent pictures along the way to update their progress as we were out of town. The roof and new vents look great, plus it comes with a great warranty! Everyone I came in contact with was very respectful and professional. I could not ask anymore of them!

John, Josh, and the crew at Bone Dry did a fantastic job on our 1890 home. Our house looks so refreshed with the new roof and skylight (and without the crumbling chimney, bubble skylight, and satellite dishes). The team replaced the roof on our house (and added OSB where needed) and reshingled our detached garage in only one day. They were thorough and they did a great job cleaning up all of the nails and debris before they left. The price was reasonable, especially considering how many people were on the job site. I highly recommend Bone Dry!

I contacted Bone Dry due to a leak in the peak of my roof. They came out quickly and found the root cause (ridge vent) and gave me me several options to fix the issue and also put a temporary solution in place due to impending weather. After selecting the option, scheduling and communication was clear. The installation was completed as promised with professionalism.

We had a good experience with this roofing company from start to finish. Their pricing was very fair and transparent — no surprises, just honest estimates and quality work. They took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of our questions, which we really appreciated. Frank Valenti went above and beyond for us and we are very pleased with our experience with him.

Without having a roofer in mind, I contacted Bone Dry Roofing since their website included soffit repair. I was not disappointed! I met with Austin, who came to assess the problem I had with the soffit. He did a thorough examination of the soffit and explained what was needed and offered a quote to have it repaired. He explained that with the weather it may take up to about 4 weeks to get the job done. He was professional and prompt in the quote. He also offered a second quote to install a new gutter system, which I appreciated. The job was done in a timely manner, and it appears that everything was done as described. I would highly recommend to anyone who has a small job like mine to contact Bone Dry Roofing. They did a great job from beginning to end.

They showed up and had to shovel the snow off my roof to get started and the worked looked like they did not want to be there. Lots of mistakes made and clean up was rough. Even though multiple times I was told by both the salesman and the job foreman that the manager would be by to do a final inspection, he never set foot on my property. For the price I paid I should not have had to climb on my own roof multiple times to point out all the mistakes that were left. They did come back 4 times and eventually got all of the problems worked out which I am thankful for, but I shouldn't have had to argue with them to get a proper roof job done. I had them repair my chimney a few years ago and had seen good work and communication then so I thought I would get the same quality this time but it has changed for sure. Two of the times they showed up to do the repairs in the dark with nothing more than their phones as a flashlight. The hump off the back corner of my house is still there and I am told it will go down when it warms up, I can see that it is resting on the gutter so I doubt it but I will be patient and see. During the initial quotes the salesman told the the shingles on the front of my house are shot due to lack of ventilation and that would have to be addressed to get the warranty, he quoted to have my three box vents removed off the back of my house and replaced with 2 of their larger vents. But that is only on the back side of my house? nothing was changed on the front where he mentioned the problem took place. He also told me that the gutters in a few places had to come down and that they charge the same price to put old gutters back up as they do to install new gutters so that gutters where a part of my quote. When supplies got dropped of a day before they started I did not see anything for gutters, so I asked about the gutters and the manager responded with a different crew later on does the gutters. The next day after they had already started and most of the tear off was done I got a call from the salesman telling me he did not include the gutters and was then sending me another quote with the gutters included. Afterwards I pointed out that some of the gutters where not in the same spot and the manager argued with me saying they never came down and sent pictures that the salesman took during the quote, which were not of the same gutters that I had questioned them on. They came back and put the gutters back where they were to begin with, still not sure why the gutter in the back is sitting higher and now holds my shingles up off the roof and still confused why the salesman told me their whole gutter spiel if that was not part of my quote to begin with. All and all it looks like they have everything fixed now even though they took out my metal valleys and didn't replace them or mention they only do closed cut shingle valleys only but glad to have it finished.
