I was highly impressed with Russell Tree Experts. They contacted me two days before the work was scheduled to let me know when the crew would be onsite. We were the first job of the day, and the crew arrived around 7:40 a.m. The crew removed three trees, trimmed two large branches from another, loaded up all of the wood, cleaned up the area and left the site around 9:15. The crew was courteous and explained what they would be doing that day. I highly recommend Russell for any tree removal/trimming needs.

We had about 12 trees trimmed and one removed. Russell exceeded our expectations in the work they did. The crew came in and went right to work. They were very professional, careful and efficient. There were a lot of limbs they removed and they cleaned up our yard very well. Several of our neighbors gave us comments on what a great job they did. We would highly recommend their services.

Honest Estimate, personal and pleasant customer service, quick and excellent work on site and they cleaned up after their work as well as removing a pile of branches that had fallen earlier that week.

A few years ago I had a great deal of tree damage from a rotating storm and gathered estimates from 3 companies. TJ came out and evaluated all my trees, including a very large beloved maple I feared might have to be removed. Russell removed a couple large limbs, opened up the canopy, and saved the tree. Their work that visit was also excellent and quick.

And Russell worked with me around any issues. For my recent service I didn't have a tree emergency, so it did take a couple months to schedule my work, which was OK as I understand them needing to prioritize serious tree damage. Russell's billing emails were going into my junk folder, which I forget to check for non-junk, so Lynn called me this morning, resent the invoice email, and I was able to pay online.
Russell honestly works with their customers, and I will continue to use them and recommend them for tree service.

Living in Clintonville for 42 years I have used several tree services, Russell Tree Experts is by far the best ever. I needed a huge dying maple tree removed from my back yard, it was a very difficult job being close to a garage and near power lines. I had several estimates, some never even showed up, one said it was too dangerous and could not be done. Luckily I found Russell Tree Experts, Walter came right out and gave a very complete and reasonable estimate, he is very knowledgeable and professional. They showed up on time and the highly skilled crew removed the tree in no time, they made it look easy. They completely cleaned the yard and even my garage roof. The crew were very good natured and I could tell they really enjoyed their work. I would highly recommend this company for any kind of tree work.

Russell staff did and outstanding job of tree removal. I had work performed in June of this year. They took out 1 tree in my front yard and 2 trees in my backyard. Each tree was easily 30 - 40 feet tall. They were efficient, polite, and very professional. When the work was completed, the work areas were thoroughly cleaned and basically showed no signs of any people or equipment being there. The whole area was picked up and cleaned up. I can't say enough about how please I am with the service that they provided.

Had a sick looking tree and contacted Russell Tree Experts. They came out within a few days and gave me some great advice on things I could do myself this fall to see if the tree will make it through the winter. Told me I can contact them in the spring to discuss next steps. Really appreciate the honest information and that they didn't immediately try to sell me a service that may not be worth it if the tree won't live. Appreciate them being up front and honest.

She also came to my home the day of the work and marked all the small trees that were to be removed and trimmed the decorative trees near the house. Had an Elm tree that had Dutch Elm disease and needed to he removed. The crew they sent were great. They parked in the cul-de-sac, so all the neighbors still had access to their driveways. They left my yard in better condition than it was when they arrived. I would highly recommend them.

We've used Russell Tree Experts three times. Twice for tree removals and most recently for pruning back a few trees. Every time they've been great. I'm constantly impressed with how much they care about the health of the trees and doing the job right. You can tell they take pride in their work and are more concerned with making you happy than making a quick buck.

Brian was absolutely phenomenal to work with. Him and his team did a great job with gridding our 15 tree stumps in the yard. He said they were both quick and efficient. Highly recommend to anyone who needs tree service done.

I’m writing this on behalf of my mother, who used Russell Tree experts. We just wanted the trees in the front of the house trimmed, no one was there while it was happening so that was our fault because they must not have understood what trimming the tree meant. My mother and I came home pretty much devastated at the look of our trees. They took off whole branches, and left it looking pretty sad. When emailing with someone from the company they said they would forward it to someone so they could look into it. It’s been a few days and no reply back. We spent too much money for our tree to look this bad.

Great & timely work trimming & pruning our large backyard silver maple trees. This is the 4th time in 30+ years that we have relied on Russell to take care of our landscape tree care.

We had a very good experience from start to finish. Communication with Russell was timely, detailed and friendly. The workers had to deal with a tree within a few feet of a neighbors fence with no incidents. Clean-up was also good. Plus, our 3 year old grandson enjoyed watching the workers as they waved and made eye contact with him. He loved it.

Great service and price. Two person crew came out and did the work and cleaned up. Everything looked great. The crew went above and beyond doing some extra trimming and some divots were filled in with seed same day.
