I so appreciated everyone with Textbook Painting being professional, informative and respectful, from my first meeting with Jenn, to the painting and installation of the cabinet doors by Brandon. I also liked the text updates given by Courtney and the carpentry work done by Chuck. I highly recommend them.

From the initial email to request a quote to the finished product, Textbook Painting rocked it!! Courtney in the office was great with communication and our team, Kevin, Emma, Zach, and Logan were amazing to work with! We had the entire interior of our house painted (vanities, cabinets, trim, walls, spindles). They were here for about a week and a half and were on time every morning, 8 AM. Some of them lived almost an hour away and with traffic still were here on time. They were all respectful, courteous, friendly, funny, and smart!! They educated me on any questions I had regarding the painting process. It was a pleasure to have them in our home to help with the amazing transformation. The house looks unbelievable and I truly feel like I made 4 new friends in the process. I was kind of sad when they were done but, I know someone else will benefit from this talented group!!

We are so happy to have found Textbook Painting. The first company that we considered could not paint the cabinet with the glass door. Textbook Painting not only painted that, they were able to replace some trim that was missing and update another piece of trim. The communication with the company was great and Eddie, who took lead on the job, was pleasant, professional, and a hard worker. We couldn’t recommend him, and the company, more. We had the cabinets, ceiling, and walls of the kitchen painted. It feels as if we have a brand new kitchen.

The Textbook painting crew was professional, positive, and detailed! Kassidy & Lorenzo did such a great job - even a very difficult area (crown molding near ceiling tiles) I didn’t think would turn out well- turned out extremely perfect. They exceeded my expectations- even an area I saw and thought I shouldn’t ask for that area to be touched up- Kassidy saw it without me saying anything! This company has great people and this is the 2nd time the company painted in my house and I’m extremely happy with their work. Thank you!

Update- I had the outside of my house painted as well and the work was perfect! They were also very flexible with a few changes I had, very kind, and professional! My house looks brand new again! Thank you!

The entire process was great. Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful. Liz is a rockstar. She did a great job on my project and my consulting was great and Courtney who worked to get me scheduled and my colors finalized was awesome! I love my new room!!!

Finish product came out great!! The team was very professional, respectful and timely. We will hire them again in the future.

We used Textbook painting a couple of years ago when we painted the exterior of our home. We were very happy with that experience, so decided to use Textbook for our most recent paint project, which included window trim (21 windows), wall paint touch ups throughout the house, a bathroom paint update, and cabinet painting (which was completed by a different Textbook team). Kassidy and her team (Marty, Mat, & Jack), were extremely professional, organized, communicative, and did a fantastic job. The paint looks amazing and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. Their work also included filling holes and repairing parts of the wall to ensure a finished look. As always, Textbook did great work and we will be using them for our future paint projects. I should add that when they came out to give an estimate, Tyler noticed some paint touch ups needed on the exterior and they were quick to get that work done. Highly recommend!

Monaca was our team leader and her attention to detail and her workmanship was fantastic. I also appreciated her professionalism and how knowledgeable she was explaining the whole process. We are amazed by the level of quality and service provided for our project. Fred managed and completed our project. He was extremely responsive, meticulous with all job prep and every detail of the paint work including drilling and installation of new hardware for our cabinet refinish. We were contemplating a refinishing vs. purchasing new and went with the refinishing and the finish is outstanding. Quality of materials used seem to be durable and expect they will last decades vs. if I were to buy material and paint myself. Highly recommend!

Roofing review

Attention all homeowners or business owners who are looking to have their roofs replaced. This is a review for Franciscus Roofing Company. I strongly recommend not using this company. They’re work and craftsmanship is subpar. They’re service is also subpar.
I bought a home in Florida, fall of 2019, which had to have a new tile roof installed before closing. The seller used Franciscus Roofing Company. The roof came with a guarantee which transferred to me once sale was complete. The following is my experience with this company.
1. They left roofing nails and debris around the home exterior which filled an entire 50 gallon contractor bag. I know because I cleaned it up.
2. Within the first year we had a leak that went into the garage. May 2020. I called the company and after some time a representative came out and located the leak from the roof. They said they fixed the leak. I replaced the drywall and repainted. The next rain showed the leak was never fixed. They never water tested their work. I called back and after a week another rep came to the house. They said they got it this time. I waited to re drywall and finish which was a good thing as it still leaked. It took 4 times before they fix it.
3. This past January, 2024 the next leak started. Directly over our front bedroom. I called the company on a Wednesday as water was pouring in from a rain. No one returned my call and when the next rain came on Friday I contracted another company to begin work to stop water coming into the house. Since the roof was still under warranty I called Franciscus again and finally a rep came to the house. He said he will fix the roof and not to worry. I told my new contractor that he can do the drywall repairs and roof stucco repairs but Fransiscus will be doing the roof work. My contractor agreed and called off his roofer. Fransiscus sent one man to fix the roof. He worked for a few hours and left. The rep came by the next day and water tested the work. It failed. He said he will be back the next day and fix it. He never showed up. Rain again more water. I called and got no response. I remembered the previous experience so I hired my contractor’s roofer and fired Fransicus off the job site. The new roofer sent a crew of 4 men and worked 8 hours to properly fix the roof. 2 hours were dedicated to redoing Franciscus’s work. Once they finished and water tested, the roof was perfect. They water tested again in the morning and all good. I was able to put the room back together.
4. I called the company and asked to speak to the owner. I was contacted by an agent, Tom, whom I explained exactly how Franciscus handled the job so poorly. I asked him for compensation for the roof fix only. Not waterproofing exterior wall, roof stucco, drywall, paint or carpet. Just the roofing bill as I thought since they couldn’t actually fix the roof then they would make good on the roofing work. Tom told me he would talk to the owner Lee Franciscus. I didn’t hear from Franciscus so I called in again and that’s when the owner Lee told me they fired Tom. So I explained to Lee what his company did he apologized and said he would look into it. I sent him the bill as well as pictures of his company’s work and the new finished roof. No response, nothing from this company for over 3 months. I realize that they don’t plan on making good on their subpar work. Disappointing.
5. I have yet another leak from roof. This time I just got my roofer to fix it. I have pictures of the work which once again is unbelievably poor.

6. I’m telling this story so hopefully no one else gets screwed by this company. Basically buyer beware.

Albert Hobar from Franciscus Roofing came to our house to check on our roof. He was very nice and easy to talk to and answered all our questions. He not only checked on the leaks, but did some things to help the situation until we can get them fixed. We really appreciated his kindness and his extra efforts to help us.

My experience with Franciscus Roofing was outstanding! With the help from Logan Godfrey and Steve and his crew. They were courteous, responsive and very professional. Logan followed up with me to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction.
My neighbors have commented on how well the crew cleaned up after the roof was installed and one is thinking of having Franciscus Roofing doing their roof too!

We couldn’t be happier with our new roof! Pat was great to work with! He was knowledgeable and honest. They even made sure to schedule while we were out of town , that was a life saver because the dog was with us! Great experience!

We were sure that we needed a new roof when Albert Hobar came out to inspect a small leak in a bathroom. It turned out to be the rubber seal in a pipe had deteriorated, which he sealed with a compound he said was bullet proof. Our roof and shingles are in good shape after he inspected the whole thing. We greatly appreciate his honesty as he could have sold us a roof as many shady dealers would have done. And he did not even charge us for the sealant he put on the pipe. AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this company be your first call when you have an issue. Trust worthy and honest, for sure.

They tore off partial roof to remove and replace 2 skylights.They explained everything. They were fast & efficient, and did a great job cleaning up. I would recommend them to friends and family.

If you are nervous at all about getting a new roof, then I highly recommend using Franciscus Roofing. Logan laid out exactly my options were, how confident he was in getting my insurance to cover it, and how the work would proceed. He made the entire process stress free. Having confidence in knowing you are getting value for your money was just as valuable as the actual competitive pricing they offered. The quality of the actual work and the cleanup was also top notch. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
