We are a 1st year customer in Westlake. We have taken care of our property for the past 10 years. This year we turned over those duties to Ground Works Land Design. The weekly lawn care team is doing a great job. This past weekend, GWLD completed the spring cleanup and mulch installation and did a fantastic job as well. A big shout out to Josh and his Teams…you’re doing a super job. Keep up the great work!

The Ground Works team is exceptionally professional with an outstanding level of quality and timely service. They created a gorgeous multilevel patio for us 2 years ago that includes a fireplace, fire pit, and lighted pergola. The multilevel landscape design surrounding the patio was also gorgeous. This transformed our backyard into a beautiful escape. We liked this so much that we asked them to come back this year and transform our front yard with their thoughtful landscape design process. We cannot say enough about this group. Every detail is thought out. They are consummate professionals and very responsive. We have worked with many landscape designers in the past 20 years, and none can compare.

We highly recommend Ground Works. We had a garage built this summer which left our yard with large trenches and many issues. We were very overwhelmed. After talking with Tony, it quickly became clear that we had found the right company for the job. The crew who laid our sod did an amazing job! They were all extremely professional and went above any of our expectations. Our yard went from the absolute worst on our street to the best. If you have any landscaping needs, definitely give Ground Works a call. You will not be disappointed at all!

Ground Works recently took over all landscaping and grounds maintenance at our childcare center in Oberlin and the difference has been incredible! Parents, staff & board members have all made wonderful comments regarding the work that Joe (and his crew) continue to do each week. The children couldn't be happier to have sand back in the sandbox and pebble rocks to play in all day - thank you to Josh, Max & Jordan for the immense spring clean up and prep for a fun summer!

Ground Works Land Design recently completed a massive overhaul of our backyard. They put in a patio, grill, firepit, and all new landscaping surrounding it. Tony and Brandon made things seamless from start to finish with their proposal, design, and completion of the work ahead of schedule. Andy and his crew were at our house daily and you could tell he truly cared about the work he was doing. Andy made sure all of our questions were answered and everything was completed to how we wanted it. He was excellent to work with and I cannot recommend him enough, as well as the entire Ground Works team.

If you take even one second to research the portfolio of projects and services that Groundworks has to offer, you will notice, almost instantaneously, the consistently tremendous quality in the wide-ranging work they provide as an organization. What you might not know, without experiencing it first hand, is that despite all the amazing architectural designs and large-scale projects they complete, they are also masters of detail in even the every day maintenance service they provide.

I sought out Ground Works Land Design to help revitalize my landscaping mid way through the summer and I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and pride that went into even the smallest of jobs. Knowing that a large part of their business is centered on large scale projects, the way in which they approached my much smaller job says all you need to know about the integrity of the company. Huge thanks to the Ground Works team for the energy and effort they put into sprucing in my yard in a much needed way.

We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had working with Ground Works. They did an amazing job on our backyard project - we extended our deck a considerable amount, while also adding a paver patio and fireplace. I have to give kudos to the entire team on their friendliness, professionalism, and most importantly communication. From Dave and Joey in Sales to Matt with Design, the whole construction crew, and Brandon who managed the whole project - thank you! Their team stuck to the schedule, and their consistent check-ins showed their commitment to our satisfaction. We love our new backyard! I can’t imagine using anyone else for the next phases of our outdoor projects and plan on recommending GW to anyone I know looking to take on a project.

Ground Works installed a new covered attached patio in my back yard and did an awesome job! The owner Tony came to my house personally and listened to my vision and then Brandon, the project manager, worked with me every step of the way. It turned out amazing and my family and I basically lived out there this fall. Highly recommended.

My husband and I saw a Ground Works truck at Cahoon Nursery where we were looking for a new tree to plant in our front yard. We stopped and talked to Bennett and asked if his company would plant the tree for us. He got out of the truck and talked us through the process and immediately set up an appointment to come to our house the next day to give us an estimate. We also had him remove two overgrown taxus bushes and replace them with three boxwoods which he personally picked out for us. The result was such an improvement to our landscape and Bennett provided so much professional advice, which helped us immensely. We would highly recommed Bennett and Ground Works Land Design!

We are in love with our new backyard addition, and overall very happy we chose Ground Works to help us bring it to life. The quality is solid, the process is thorough, and the team is great to work with. There were several hiccups along the way in terms of execution and communication that required us to be more involved in oversight than we anticipated, but in each case, Ground Works was quick to respond and make things right without any fuss (as we've come to learn, no project runs perfectly, so you have to stay plugged in). They were intensely focused on our ultimate happiness, which meant addressing all concerns, accommodating all requests, and in some cases going above and beyond. So in the end, we are very pleased, and would definitely recommend their services.

New construction home means new landscaping. So happy I found Ground Works! Working with Steve was easy and very professional. He responded very quickly to all my needs. The work crew was awesome. They listened to me and respected my ideas. They worked fast and they cleaned up well. When I needed them to come back to fix a bed that was damaged by a construction crew, they were on top of it. Service like that is hard to come by these days.
Over all, a great value and a great experience.
And the plantings are beautiful and healthy (not tiny little plants and bushes either.) Thanks, Ground Works! I’ll be passing your company name around my new neighborhood!

Met with the contract manager, few weeks later I was contacted by the new manager, Jordan. We went into contract with them, put a deposit down, then was told by Jordan we would be contacted with an install date. I had to email her three separate times inquiring about the install date, I was always told that it would be xxx date and is delayed due to weather, but she never followed up on her own. Three months later, come to find out the process had never been started. I understand things happen and employees are hard to find, my issue is that we were lied to for months that it was in process, yet was never started. Very disappointed.

We really lucked out by choosing to work with Ground Works. We had been planning a back "patio" project for a few years and had a pretty good idea of what we wanted, and the Ground Works team really listened to our needs/wants and helped bring our vision to life. They pushed us in all the right ways to think bigger picture and stretch the budget where we could, which resulted in the perfect 3 season addition that blends naturally onto our 100 yr old house. I know that 9 out of 10 other options we could have gone with would have fallen well short of the product and level of service we received from Tony, Brandon and the entire Ground Works crew. Highly recommend!

Ground Works has done an awesome job with regular maintenance and spring cleaning for us...our yard has never looked better. They do charge a premium over other local landscaping companies but their service levels are worth it. Steve, who I worked with, was very professional and responsive. They took care of everything I had on my list during the spring cleaning, also addressing an accidental power line break immediately. They are very regular and consistent, I don't have to worry about them not showing up on time. Thank you Ground Works team!

The new patio that Ground Works Land Design completed for us is beautiful. Constructed according to HOA guidelines, it meets our needs perfectly. We are very happy with the planning, construction and final product. From Steve's planning and design, through Brian, Josh and the cement team, and Ray, Felix and the landscape crew, it all went smoothly. The patio complements our home and the stamped concrete pattern is exactly as we envisioned. Kudos to a great company. We highly recommend Ground Works Land Design to family and friends.

Their service is truly exceptional and is frequently praised by both customers and staff. Our crew led by Zach along with Tony & Angel did an excellent job with great attention to detail. The beds were carefully edged and cleaned up and the mulch installation looks great. They were incredibly friendly and professional and heard out my requests. Happy to have such a great crew to make my yard look beautiful!

I'd like to make a shoutout to the entire Groundworks team. I had a dream for years to build a front porch, and this team made it a reality.

I met with Kevin who immediately was excited and on board with my project. I used words like organic, flow, and proportionate to convey my vision. He and the design team set to work and were able to put to paper what had only been an idea in my head.

Kevin was a delight to work, overseeing the project and checking in daily.

Phase one was landscaping and a big thanks to Felix, Agapito, Dago, and Jesus. They were polite, efficient, conscientious, and hard working, leaving my yard clean and orderly throughout the project.

Phase two was the construction of the porch. Lem was the artist who built it. He was precise, dedicated, committed, and artistic with a work ethic that went above and beyond.

His craftsmanship had not only me but my neighbors in awe. They were fascinated and would come to watch the process, though Lem and I kept the final look to ourselves until the big reveal.

Vinny joined Lem later on in the project and the two showed great team work.

The final phase was back to landscaping with Brian and Ricky who were amazing, planting trees and creatively bringing it all together. Another hard working crew. They were kind, helpful, and a pleasure to work with.

From beginning to end this was a great journey. Thank you Groundworks!
