Recently hired Mercer HVAC services, when our heat went out. They were able to come out quickly, diagnose the problem and shortly after fix the faulty furnace.

Service was quick and efficient.

My AC went down so I called Mercer HVAC. Randy replied in less than an hour and showed up to service my AC that same day.
AC is running great now. FAST, FRIENDLY, and GOT IT DONE! Thanks Randy!!!!!

I used Mercer HVAC for install of the system when my office was built per my contractor. I paid for an annual maintenance plan after as well. I realized over a year later (my fault for relying on him) that Randy Mercer failed to appear for regular service/maintenance per contract (paid separately) the entire time. I reached out repeatedly and finally they showed up for a maintenance visit. They then failed to return again even after me reaching out AGAIN. It has now been over three years that I have been in my office, and I did not receive a refund of the service contract missed appointments, or the actual regular maintenance visits made up as I was supposed to have. It boils down to poor communication, unprofessional actions, and my HVAC system could have potentially been at risk for not being maintained as indicated. I cannot recommend Mercer HVAC as a result.

(I have switched to AirTech and they have been extremely professional and proactive in all care.)

Below is a copy and paste of our email transaction, which I sent to him twice. At this time I have not received further correspondence. I have also not received any refund.

How would you like me to take care of this? Would you like me to pick up filters ?
Would you like me to refund the labor and trip charge left for the one filter change left?
I would need to go back and look at contract.

My reply: Up to you if you want to pick up the filters. AirTech utilizes/furnishes their own each time they have been out here.

My A/C went out over the 4th Of July weekend. Randy responded within the hour. He showed up and provided the necessary fix in a timely manor. I highly recommend Mercer HVAC Services.

Mercer installed my Geothermal system over 10 years ago. They did an excellent , professional job installing it. I had them come out for a service on 7/08/2022 ( cleaning, checkup) . They arrived on time and once again did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this company , and will use them again.

I have lived without AC for a couple years as my Geo-Thermal unit was replaced and never completed. I called Adams HVAC for assistance. Dave showed up with in a couple hours, checked my thermostat, turned and said call Mercer. Friday I called Randy Mercer HVAC and he scheduled me the following Monday am. He was prompt, bright and early. By noon my AC was up and running wonderfully cold air through the house as it sucked all the moisture laden air out. Fast, friendly, fair, professional and Top Notch. I found my self in a pinch, as my GEO system decided to fail on one of the coldest mornings after Christmas 2023. Also within the last year my installer had passed away, so I had no one to call. I called the manufacturer of the brand I had, who gave me a local number of someone that might assist me. That company said they didn't work on GEO's but recommended Randy Mercer of Randy Mercer Heating, Air Conditioning & GEO Thermal. By the time I got in touch with Randy it was already late in the day. Randy said he was going to get a bite to eat, that was 7:00 PM and by 8:00 PM he was at my house. He diagnosed the problem and said he would order the needed parts. The next morning he called with the news, parts Out of Stock in Cincinnati. He kept me informed every step of the way. Once the parts arrived he waisted no time and came over and got my unit up and heating again. Given the work that was performed I felt his price was reasonable. Randy was very professional from start to finish. I would highly recommend anyone giving Randy a call!

Our house had most of its original equipment when we bought it, and we’ve lived in it long enough to know things are inevitably going to start failing. That time came. Randy was recommended by a few people we knew, and he was very close to our home. He was straightforward and he communicated personally through texts mostly. He replaced our AC unit, and then a few months later, he did our water heater. He worked us into his schedule to get things done almost immediately even though we were totally willing to wait a couple of days. He does a great job.
