I had an incident with a thrown rock and a broken truck window while working near a commercial property that these guys maintain.

The workers had already contacted their supervisor before I found out, and when I reached out to the company they were quick to apologize and give me options on getting it fixed.

Accidents happen, and these folks handled it perfectly. Accountable, honest, and quickly make it right!

We had Pitzer redo our front flower bed and plant trees and shrubs in our back yard. They were attentive and professional from beginning to end! Jed was really easy to work with and made sure we were happy with the plan and results at every step! Thank you, Jed! We are so excited to watch everything come to life this spring!

I love this place. My sprinkler system stopped working, I called up there and they had a guy come out the next day! Price was cheaper than the last place I used too. Definitely going to be using them for my future lawn needs.

Was driving in Norman the Other day, and one of their lawn guys was facing me as I was driving by and purposely aimed his leaf blower at my car when I was driving by. He saw me and I was the only car around! He could've easily waited for me to pass. I pulled over to approach him and told him there could've been rocks that he just blew at my car but he didn't care and actually thought it was funny!! I asked him for his bosses phone number and he said, "google it" and then laughed some more. This is the kind of people that this company hires?!? Obviously don't care about peoples personal property! Will never use this company!

I have reached out several times for them to repair my fence and gutter which they ran over. This is not the first time they have damaged my fence which they had to repair. DO NOT use this company unless you don't care about your property. They keep telling me they are going to fix it, but have not. Spend your money elsewhere.

I have called Pitzer’s no fewer than five times over the past year seeking an estimate for lawn services and despite assurances from the receptionist a quote was coming, it never arrived any of the times. Meanwhile they cut my neighbor’s yard weekly and that of our neighborhood HOA, which I served on for two years and approved the Pitzer’s contract. Not once has anyone apologized or offered to guarantee a call back for my personal business. “We’ll email you when it’s ready.” What I hear: “take your business elsewhere, you’re just another number with us.”

If this had a half rating that is what I would give this lawn company nowadays. Thirty years ago they were a reputable lawn service but over the years they have gotten alittle to big for the britches. They basically take advantage of seniors in their housing communities /townhouses. Over the past 30 yrs I have watch their work at my parents townhouse. They have jerked out multiple lilies instead of cutting down the old stocks, killed two double bloom clematis vine by cutting them to the ground while tied to a trellis. Lost endless tulips bulbs because they jerk them up also. If you don't stay on top of the workers nothing gets done. They charge way to much for the work they do not do much less the plants they destroy. I would never recommend this company.

Pitzer Lawn Company took my new custom home to an entirely new level!! Jed Pitzer took the time to find the perfect trees, the perfect lighting, and always was extremely helpful in the design I was hoping for. They EXCEEDED every expectation that I had for my new home. They are 1st CLASS and worth every dollar you will spend.

Pitzers put in a retaining wall in The Preserve at Covell Valley. My clients are selling their home and have the retaining wall behind their property. Buyers hired a reputable structural engineer to evaluate the retaining wall as part of their inspections. The engineer recommended extending the wall an additional 4 ft due to erosion. After repeated voicemails and texts to Mr Pitzer he finally responded in a text saying that he was too busy to deal with it. I let him know it was disappointing that he wasn't willing to stand behind work that he did. THAT is what finally prompted an immediate phone call that was very confrontational and rude. Mr Pitzer was yelling at me saying he built the wall correctly and built what he was paid for. Very unprofessional business owner that clearly isn’t interested in any kind of service after a sale. Quite shocking actually.

Pitzer recently completed some landscape work in our front and back yard. Jed is great to work with. He is very responsive and was very patient when answering all of my questions. The quality of work is fantastic, and you really get your money's worth. The crew that completed the work was polite, tidy and did a great job. 10/10 would recommend.

This company went above and beyond to make things right with me after there was some miscommunication about the seedlings in my garden. I appreciate them making things right. Definitely a company to consider for your lawn care needs.

I love using Pitzer’s and the service they provide. All of their staff I’ve encountered a professional, helpful and timely. They did great work fixing a flooding issue I had in my yard. I also use them for yard maintenance and they do an awesome job mowing, edging, etc. 10/10 would recommend to use them!

The HOA in my neighborhood uses pitzer for lawn care and today they destroyed my seedlings. I don't know if they thought they were weeds but they NO business even being in my garden. Not only do they over mow my yard until it's dead now they destroyed my hard work and money. I'm tired of this company.

I have been using Pitzer’s for years and have always been so impressed with their work and their wonderful customer service anytime I call the office. I know it’s a family owned, local company and their work is truly impeccable! They’ve handled my lawn and my flower beds for years and I get compliments all the time from my neighbors. There are so many different lawn care businesses out there, but I’m thankful to know my lawn care and landscaping are done excellently and always looking beautiful. I tried to think of something negative to say to “keep it real”, but I can’t think of any negative experiences I’ve had with them. I give them 5 stars, but I would give them 10 if I could!

Pitzer's crew came through ande watched as they illegally dumped branches and brush and logs onto Thompson Road and the neighboring churches property. This makes our driveway into a dumpsite and looks very trashy, thanks to Pitzer's crew. I politely told them they cannot dump their trash on people's property and they drove away after nodding.
