Kristen Taffar is very knowledgeable and attentive. She comes regularly to adjust water as needed. She also is observant as to the condition of the plants and trees and manages their well being.

We love total environment and especially
Kristen Taffar. She immediately responds. While on vacation your plants look great when you arrive.

My home is surrounded by several dozen mature trees. As a result of the ice storm we were trapped in our home without power and the driveway blocked by numerous fallen trees Within a few hours Total Environment sent a crew to clear a path for us to leave and returned twice to keep the driveway clear
In all our dealings with we have found TE to be professional knowledgeable and fair.

I have used Total Environment for several years now and am very pleased. I first engaged them because I wanted to use organic management methods for the lawn and gardens. Everything is healthy and beautiful!

We have used the services of Total Environment in three different neighborhoods in which we have lived over the past 30 years. From time to time we have also used others. The quality of their services are better than all the others we have used and their personal care and concern for our landscape and property is by far, the best.

This company was highly recommended however I have tried numerous times to have someone contact me and I have received NO return calls. The nice gal that answered the phone said she is not able to give me a persons name that is in charge of this location. She said all she can do is send YET ANOTHER message to the black hole I am in. Thought maybe management or who ever keeps an eye on their reviews might see this and respond.

TE, is professional, reliable, Landscape service. We have used them for many years on a very large property. Our account manager Kristen and the staff are great to work with.

Total Environment is an exceptional company. After the huge ice storm they were amazingly quick to help get our yard and trees cleared. Everyone is extremely polite and prompt in replying. They can take care of every aspect of landscaping, and the final result is always spectacular.

We've lived in this house for five years, and for five years I've been trying to get our yard landscaped...I've called every (allegedly) reputable landscape company in this town.

One company started the job then never showed up again.

Another company literally didn't know how to trim a tree (they tore off the limbs), ravaged my hedges and installed incorrect products.

Finally, I decided to hire a nursery/landscaping company that's been in business for years. I selected my plants early in the season. but, by the time they got around to installing them, most of the plants were half dead... .to add insult to injury, the nursery MANAGER wouldn't return my phone calls or e-mails (terrible customer service). I literally had to communicate with the owner of the business to get any response.

We've used Midwest Irrigation in the past but, didn't know they were owned by Total Environment. Upon learning this, I communicated with them and, they literally saved the yard.

I scheduled an appointment with Michael. He re-confirmed the appointment the day ahead and even called to tell me he was going to be seven minutes late -incredible communication.

Upon arrival, Michael carefully observed each area (microcosm) of the yard. He could identify almost every plant in the yard. He also knew their sun and watering needs. Before leaving, he made some adjustments and suggestions. Then, he said he wanted to return in exactly one week. game on...

I could tell a considerable difference within two days....everything came back to life.
We met a week later - he lived up to his word. and, the yard looked happy, healthy and amazing. Then, Michael said he would check in again in two weeks. Which he did.

Don't waste your time (yard and sanity...). we should have called Total Environment first.

I had always assumed they would be too high for our budget. but, we've learned that their pricing is quite competitive, and their service cannot be matched.

Instead of pink, we're tickled "green"...

Do Not Use for Christmas Lights!!!!!

Edit/Update: In the 44 minutes of removal that I was charged 90 minutes for, they did not bother to mark the lights for their location on the house for next year as promised. This is the sorriest company ever.

I received a last minute estimate as our initial light crew could not complete the job. Was told 150/hour for 3 person crew and could take up to 8 hours. I agreed. Ended up being 160/hour for 4 people - whatever. That part is no big deal. What I was not told about was charging for drive time (at $160/hour from west Edmond to east Edmond - had no reason to even ask about this as I have never been charged drive time before from any contractor). They finished the job in just under 4 hours but documented the time of completion as later (my camera proves when they arrived and left).
They also estimated removal at 1.5 hours, and it took them 44 minutes (again, cameras can prove). When I complained about not being told about drive time, the undertone of the reply came across as I was the one being unreasonable. I was offered a refund to remove my neighborhood Facebook post not recommending them that they found out about. I declined. I also emailed about the time differences that I overpaid for and included video of when they left. I received no response.
Poor and untrustworthy business practices overall. I guess if you have a larger home they assume you don't watch your money. If you do choose to use them, ask about drive time and be present so you can document beginning and end of job. They will charge you down to the very minute for drive time and yet will overcharge you for their actual work time. Look over your estimate and bill carefully. Do not pay in full in advance. Left two stars because my lights did look good.

We chose Total Environment because of all the beautiful yards we would observe in our community that they were performing work at and knew we wanted that same attention to detail for our landscape. So we hired the expertise of Total Environment and got the extra bonus of having Tanner Dunlap as our account manager! Tanner has made it easy with his knowledge and availability to our questions. Tanner does what he says and he actually does more than what we would expect. Their crews work hard, timely and with respect to our home. If we are needing something they don’t do in-house Tanner connects us with best to get the job done. Total Environment is extremely professional and has taken our front yard to our backyard/pool area from ordinary to beautiful and enjoyable. We recommend Total Environment and Tanner highly!

I don’t often write reviews, but in light of recent ice storms and massive cleanup in Oklahoma City I must say how fortunate we are to have used Total Environment for the past 15 to 20 years. Its been a long time. It can handle any lawn, property or tree needs, Christmas Lights, garden design, sprinklers...you name it, Total Environment does it. They are reliable, extremely responsive, good people who know what they are doing, as a company, and have a great work force. Tanner Dunlap is a top notch yard manager, ever eager to respond and find solutions. “Reliable” is gold and its hard to find today. But, our experience with this company has been nothing but! Thank you.

Our non-profit has had a landscaping maintenance contract with Total Environment for a couple of years now. Our outdoor spaces have never looked better. Find me more beautiful turf than ours in all of the metro! If you want to see for yourself, just drive down United Founders Boulevard any time of the year and you'll see what I mean. Another property in the neighborhood uses Total Environment for their landscaping and they have some of the most beautiful year-round gardens in the city. Our account manager, Tanner, is always friendly and responsive. He is quick to answer his phone, return a call or respond by text pretty much any time. Although not the cheapest by any means, they have extraordinary high standards and expectations just like their customers do. So you get what you pay for, and in this case, you get excellence. I can highly recommend Total Environment for all of your landscape needs.
