Great service from Doyle! We had two technicians at the office the day after we called, they fixed our problem quickly and efficiently and were on their way. Highly recommended!

Did a fairly large project for me and upon final invoice came in 30% over the initial bid. Overall showed a lack of attention to detail. Left several sloppy holes, incorrect GFCI wiring, incorrect 3-way switch wiring and poorly wired overhead lights; all of which I had to correct myself. Given the invoice amount I should’ve received perfection, too bad it was amateur hour.

If I could leave -10 stars I would. Had a fire in my outlet possibly a hot wire hanging out of it so I call Doyle first thing in the morning. She assured me they would get someone out here today. This was at 8:30. I called them back at 3. She informs me it’s too late now and they don’t have time to get to me?! Really?! Thanks a lot. Now it’s too late to call another electrician so here I sit with a fire hazard. Thanks a lot. I will make it a point to be sure and tell everyone I know what kind of business you run 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I recently had an in-ground pool installed and my pool guy recommended Doyle’s Electric, whom he’d used several times. Doyle’s told me a job like this typically runs around $1300 and since I didn’t know the extent of electrical work on a new pool, I accepted. Their work was satisfactory, but I was shocked to see $773 for materials on the final bill. I took a close look at what they’d actually done and couldn’t see $773 worth of materials, so I called to inquire. After a few minutes, they admitted they’d overcharged me by $265 and immediately took it off the bill. This left $508 for materials, and again, I looked at what they’d done and it still seemed excessive. I then asked them to send me an itemized material list and saw they’d charged me $150 for a name-brand 2-pole GFCI circuit breaker and $50 for a single-pole GFCI breaker. I did a 5-minute internet search for the name-brand breaker and saw that it sells for an average of $113 on seven different websites including Amazon, Ebay, and even Walmart. I looked up the other breaker and Home Depot and Lowe’s sells it for an average of $40 and………..several more items on the list were significantly marked up as well. I asked Doyle’s to give me a break and re-price the GFCI breakers at “fair market value” to which they refused saying they don’t buy their stuff online and use local suppliers who have better stuff than the box stores and will warranty it. Well, I know that contractors buy materials in bulk at contractor’s prices (either online, from box stores, or otherwise) and then mark it up to increase their profit margins. While I don’t have a problem with that and can forgive them for charging me 50 cents a foot for #8 grounding wire, I thought paying $150 for a $113 breaker was excessive. They also charged me $480 labor for less than three hours work………..which is at least $160 per hour. In a nutshell, Doyle’s is heavily padding their materials and if I wouldn’t have challenged them on material costs, they never would’ve caught their “mistake”. Guys, if they did it to me, they’re doing it to everyone. Best advice – shop around and get estimates.

Doyle’s did amazing work with the electrical for our new pool. They were always friendly and reliable. We also called them in an emergency and they fit us in on the same day.

Love Doyle Electrics, they came in like Angels of Mercy when we had serious electrical issues, and later they undertook to install an outlet in our garage, that had none, in just one hour. They are professional and well priced; they don't over charge and they really care about their customers. Wouldn't use anyone else now.

Best service you could ask for. Top notch company. Would strongly recommend them.

I initially called Doyle's Electric for ceiling fan repair on two 25 year old ceiling fans. Michael and Nick were straight shooters- the repair on these could be done, but the time and money vs. replacing them would be about the same. I went with replacement. At the showroom, Sommer first asked us our needs, design preferences, etc. and was able to narrow down our choices so that we wouldn't be overwhelmed by choices not in our price range or taste. It was a seamless process, and installation was a breeze. We love doing business locally and this is why! Will definitely use again!
