I used Blackmon Mooring to rebuild one of my outbuildings after a fire. Simply put, I wish I would have used a different contractor. I've never written a bad review before but wish I would have known what I was getting into with Blackmon Mooring. It seems as though they hired one crew to do the job who then subcontracted it out to a different crew who subcontracted it out to a third crew. Perhaps this is standard in the field but it made communication very difficult. It was even difficult to get an invoice and settle up after the job was finished. I definitely do not recommend this company.

I can't express how kind and helpful the team at Blackmon Mooring was. I came back to find my stove had (literally) just caught fire while we were at work and, fortunately, put itself out. I was put into contact with Blackmon Mooring by my insurance agent and not only quickly comforted by a beautiful human named Tawny, but Josh came out THAT NIGHT (at 7-8 ish p.m.) from the city to my rural home to look things over, make sure I was okay and had a plan, and also walk me through the process of what they could do.

There are literally no words that can express the compassion I felt through all of this. My project Manager Kevin and his supervisor Kellie answered countless texts, questions, and made sure I got the best care.

Even now, after getting back in my home, I can call with problems or questions and they don't hesitate to help me. There are many ways to navigate disaster, but I recommend going with Blackmon Mooring to help guide you through it all.

Doesn't respond to my text. Poor craftsmanship. Totally unhappy with them. Had to use them. Insurance sent them after we got damage from April 19 tornado. Everything still not fixed. I am extremely disappointed in them.

I have used Blackmon Mooring for a number of years, and can say without hesitation that this organization and their crew have always performed a great job in my house. This crew is friendly, very productive, and perform at a very high level. Never been dissatisfied with their job performance.

At 11:30pm on a Friday night our neighbors house caught fire and it spread to our house leaving one child's bedroom fire damaged and our master bedroom water damaged.

A BM rep was on-site before the fire trucks were gone and, since I had heard of them before, I signed on to have them help with our fire recovery. They were out the next day (Saturday) to help remove the wet furniture and carpet and by Sunday evening had the roof patched and had the wet drywall removed. They also took the wet and smoky furniture offsite for cleaning and storage.

It took just over a month for our insurance company to approve a repair claim. (The adjuster was great - he was out the day after the fire - so not sure why it took that long for the company to approve it.)

After reading reviews from a few years ago and talking with contractor friends who had worked with the OKC branch of BM several years ago, I was concerned about having BM handle the repairs/reconstruction. So I spoke directly with Kellie, BMOKC's construction manager and with Kevin, our construction project manager about my concerns and they walked me through how they had worked to improve their processes. They seemed trustworthy so we gave them a shot.

I'm so glad we did because once we gave them the go ahead, they got the work done quickly and done well. They were flexible and worked with us to let us make upgrades on items like carpet where we wanted to make things better.

We are back in our house now and BMOKC was a huge part of making that happen in a timely and responsive way. A huge thanks to Ryan, Kellie, Kevin, Robert, Jennifer, and the rest of their crews!

I had my floor vents cleaned, return air vents and HVAC unit. Two employees came and it took about 2 1/2 hrs. They were very thorough and explained their process, to me, as they were working. I will use them again and be happy to refer to friends & family.

I cannot say good enough things about Blackmon Mooring! They are always responsive and do everything in their power to make it out to a situation as quick as possible. Tawn Neidy has been great to work with and super helpful! Give them a call, you will NOT be disappointed!

I have never been taken So Advantage by any company. They packed up my house after a fire. I have boxes over 4 ft high with 2 8x10 photos tons of brown paper and a dollar tree Easter basket.150 boxes. One was a 1/4 way full with a drawer literally thrown in there A leather glove and half of a

I have needed remediation twice following a storm that took the roof off of our field house and later an exploded water tank flooded our library. I contacted Blackmon Mooring in both cases, and someone was there that day to begin the remediation amd cleanup process. In fact, when the roof blew off of our field house, these guys had virtually cleaned everything up even before the news station came out, that same day, to cover the damage. Very professional , friendly, and hard working people!

Blackman mooring is a dishonest company. They will use terms like chemical clean. When pressed on what that was they said it was the equivalent of using a Mr clean magic eraser. They didn't remove the soot at all. Even refused to remove it because they said that they would encapsulate it with kiltz. Kiltz is a primer. They sent all my electronic to a separate company because they don't clean electronics. Except for my 60 inch TV that they took and kept. They brought in big fans that didn't have charcoal filters or anything. Just regular ac filters. They literally was in my house for 1 and a half days. When they refused to do the job correctly I offered to pay them for the day they worked in my house. The sent me a bill for the entire job. Refused to give me a list of what they took out of my house. And refused to return any belongings. They sent a bill for over 11k. This company gets away with ripping people off. The person that came to my house originally was not there anymore and the new guy refused to come look at what they didn't do. They will put a lean on your property and will not do the job right. No professional would paint over soot. They are a complete scam.

Tawn, Shane and the whole team are extremely responsive and professional. When we had a broken glass along a downtown sidewalk, they came right out and sectioned it off to keep pedestrians safe until they could get it cleaned up which didn’t take them long at all to do! They truly care about their customers. Would highly recommend!

10/10 great service had some flooding in my house thay caused damage these guys where great. Only thing I can say i hope I never have to use them again for recovery and reclamation. But they do damn good above and beyond work.

This is the second time we have worked with Blackman Mooring. After a pipe burst this winter Josh and his crew came out. They were very professional, productive, and took care of the job in a timely manner. Excellent service! Highly recommended!!
