I recently needed a giant antique chandelier taken down and transported to the repair shop. They did a great job removing and transporting. They also installed a couple fixtures while they were onsite. They cleaned up their work space and placed all the empty boxes by the door for disposal. I will use their services again.

Tom King Electric was able to send two professional and competent electricians to my residence the same day I called to diagnose and repair a short in a circuit. They had everything they needed to complete the job in an efficient and timely manner.

Crazy times this year, I know. I have various electrical projects I needed performed after purchasing a home in Belle Isle. I called Tom King Electric based on these reviews and reached a very nice receptionist. She obtained my info, said Tom was busy but would get back with me in a day or two. After about 4 days I called back, was told he was busy, and she would resend my info to him and he would call me back. That was Monday. It is now Friday and no response. I understand busy, staffing challenges, and the challenges Covid brings. However, a phone call or email stating that he was just to busy to take on any projects now, and maybe a recommendation of who else to call, would go a long way for customer service. Contractors will not always be swamped and will desire new business. Just very disappointing.

I used their services for a nema 14-50 install. It's mainly used to charge the tesla. They are very responsive and very easy to work with. Price was very reasonable and they finished the job in about an hour. Came on time and finished on time. The work was clean and they left the place clean as well.

From my first contact with the company over the phone, to meeting their technicians in person... they came to the house and were friendly and went right to work. We were grateful that someone came over to our home to give us an accurate quote before the work began.
