I have been buying my flowers, shrubs and trees at Marcum's for over16 years. I always loved visiting both of their locations. However, I have decided to stop shopping there. My last visit confirmed my decision. They were selling their 4" pansies for $8 more a flat than Tony's. $18 vs. $10. My family and friends told me about Tony's. I plan shopping for my gardening needs at Tony's where the service and quality is great too and the prices are more reasonable.

My wife and I went there and trudged through the mud to find a tree to replace the one in our front yard. The staff was helpful at the time. We picked out a nice maple and paid them to plant it. We wrote our name on the tag and they put a sold tag on it. They were behind in planting due to weather. When they finally showed up to plant the tree 6 weeks later, they brought a DIFFERENT TREE which they tried to pass off as the one we selected. We rejected it and called them. Their story was that some other customer probably wanted the tree and removed our tag and there was nothing they can do about that. Excuse me? When a tree is bought and paid for and they are paid to come and plant it, It certainly IS their responsibility to bring the SAME tree that we paid for! In my opinion, these people are dishonest and don't really care about the customer. We are waiting on a full refund from them, and will never do business there again.

Felt like the flowers were overpriced but the customer service was worth the drive and extra money! Brought my 7m old with me today and almost everyone working stopped to pay him attention. You guys were wonderful and have an incredible selection! Will def be returning.

I love, love, love Marcum's Nursery. I have been going to Marcum's for years now and there is certainly no nursery I'd rather go to. Certainly, more times than not, I am going there just to look around at the beautiful offerings and/or to share in conversations with enthusiasts who are passionate about what they do. I support them any chance I get. Even though I live in north Oklahoma City now, I drive right on past the other places to get to Marcum's. You can buy plants from anywhere but, if you are looking for a place that is going to sell you top quality plant material at a fair and reasonable price, by people who are passionate and knowledgeable about what they are doing, look nowhere else.

They always have a great selection, decent prices and friendly staff.

On a side note, thanks for having a backbone Monty. I guess the unhappy people with your stance can go enjoy the inflation on our economy. LGB :)

Their flowers are gorgeous and hardy. Staff always friendly and helpful. However, the trees that we have purchased there have all died and the nursery offers no warranty unless they install. Recommend the OKC nursery that offers a 90 day warranty for self-planted trees.

I haven't been impressed with the customer service they have. I purchased my second and last tree from them recently. I picked a beautiful tree out paid 500 total including the ridiculous price they charge to plant the tree for you. It was a nice tree until they mauled it. The tree was 1/4 dead when it arrived, from wind burn, broken branches and looked like it was left on the back of a trailer for several days dying. I called and spoke with someone, emailed pictures within an hour of them planting it. Never received a call back for 3 days until I finally follow up. Basically I was told "to bad". If I could have been home I wouldn't have allowed it to be planted. What a waste, I paid them for professional installation and delivery and I received far less. I would recommend another nursery. They need to work on customer service. They are super nice when you are there so you will spend money, then when they screw up your tree and you have a problem with the poor quality of service they offer. They basically don't care because they have your money already.

There are a lot of comments regarding great customer service, however I can’t rate the customer service as I never received any (in person). I spent 45 minutes looking at trees and not a single employee came through, I ventured into the main store and the line at the service desk was several deep. Frustrated, I simply walked to my vehicle and called the store to see if they had full size magnolia, as all I found in the lot were dwarf size. I was sadly informed they did not have any and “it appears we do not even carry them.” There were people being helped in the tree area but they were racing by in golf carts. It would be helpful to have some direction on how to get an employee for the trees, or at least a ride on the carts.

This was one of the most humiliating experiences i have had! We went in to buy veggie plants and herb plants. My son noticed several flower heads in the trashcan. He said they would be great for a plant fertilizer, so he picked out a pot to buy and put some of them in it. He went to get the cart and we were going to see how much they would charge us.

As he is going to get the cart i hear a woman on the radio saying someone was taking cuttings out of the trash and was leaving with them and the pot! 😱 When my son got back with the cart he asked the lady working near us if we could buy the dead flowers and she said to take it to the front, so we did.

Then a guy stopped us on the way and took the pot off our cart and said very loudly, "I have to take this. We sell plants here, we don't allow people to take cuttings for free." Now mind you I have over $100 of plants on the cart still, and my son said, "Oh we weren't trying to propagate them, i was going to see if we could buy them to use for a ferment fertilizer." He was very rude, raised his voice even louder and said, "No, you could buy plants to do that with. We don't allow dumpster diving here." So i asked if we could just buy the pot, and he literally pulled it away from me to his side and said, "No!". I wasn't petty, I went ahead and checked out, but

This kind of behavior is NOT what we have seen from Marcum's Nursery employees before. We bought 11 fruit trees, mylch, fertilizers, etc. from the Goldsby location, veggie plants, and flowers and were treated very well.

If buying dead flowers was not allowed the employee we asked should have known and told us when we asked. EVEN IF we were stealing something there should be more professional protocols in place.

And the Goldsby location has big bins that they throw dead plants in and turn it to mulch, it doesn't go in a landfill!

They have a large selection of plants, shrubs and herbs. I enjoyed walking around and browsing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The plants all looked healthy and pricing wasn't crazy especially if you're getting just a few small items.

Absolutely love Marcum's. It's the only nursery and tree farm we will go to. The staff is friendly, courteous, always willing to help. They are more than happy to answer questions, give you information, and make suggestions.
The products and plants they have to offer are always good quality. The facilities are set up well, and easy to get to and through.

Awesome people. The 2 ladies who helped me yesterday were so very kind and helpful. They picked out my plants and loaded them in my car. Then took my card in to pay. I never had to get out of my car. I am an old handicapped woman. So I appreciated them very much. Thanks ladies, you’re the best.❤️❤️

My husband & I own a lawn and landscaping business and use this place all the time. This morning we called asking for sod and they had 20 rolls left. We asked if they could hold it and they said no we cant take card over the phone. But we may have some if you get here quick. It was a womans voice. We get there 10 minutes later and all 20 rolls are gone and they said at the counter they can only hold it if you pay over the phone by card. Needless to say, whoever we spoke to on the phone was lazy and lied to us about not being able to take card over the phone. Never doing business here again, we drove out here from Tuttle. Absolutely sucked. I thought about calling the owner but i’ll just leave it at we are done doing business here.

Great customer service! A family member traveling through Oklahoma City stopped by and got a housewarming gift for us. When we opened it there was a missing piece. They called the nursery and let them know. We received the parts in a few days! Thank you so much from your new fans in TX! If we are ever near one of your stores, we will stop by!

This is a locally owned business - and I always prefer to support local business owners. My husband and I purchased some seeds and windchimes there this Christmas. We were looking for items manufactured in the U.S. and Marcum's had a good selection. It was a real treat to the eyes to walk around the store and see all the amazing items - we spent over an hour there. Good job Marcum's nursery.

Do NOT buy trees here!!! They sold us trees knowing they would die because it gets too hot here, however we planted them in November and they still died!!! When we tried to get them to swap them out they will NOT give you a full refund or full credit, it’s only 40% off so regardless they continue to make money off you as you continue to waste your money on dying trees.. to make matters worse they said it was a known problem with these trees and they don’t even sell them anymore!! Horrible horrible customer service and even worse trees!! Save your money and go elsewhere!!!
