Jacob came out and gave us an estimate on removing a large tree in our back yard. I had some concerns about the equipment possibly damaging our property. The owner Jake came by a few days later and explained more in depth of their process. We went forward with the tree removal. A large crew worked on the removal. They worked meticulously and professionally while here. I would highly recommend Trees By Jake if you need any tree work done.

The team was amazing!! They removed 5 very large acorn trees from our backyard today. They were respectful to me and of our property and safety was key! They even chopped up and stacked some firewood for us on our rick. I am amazed by their professionalism and attention to all the details. Would definitely recommend them again!!

We used Trees by Jake to raise the canopy of some very overgrown trees that hung over our fence. The results were even better than we expected!

We knew felling a tree was going to be expensive. We sought out 4 different local companies to give us estimates. They all ranged $3k to $5k. What made Trees by Jake stand out was the fact that we could tailor our estimate to the things we needed done and the extra things we weren't worried about. We choose them for that reason and the fact my wife liked the person she talked to. All the companies we talked to were professional and courteous but the MASSIVE price saving we got from Trees by Jake won us over.
When we finally accepted their quote and paid, we got lucky in that they could service us that day, and I see why. They were fast, efficient, and clean. They were done in a couple hours with all of it. As an asterix, the tree we had was full dead and in the front with no obstacles, but doesn't subtract from the overall speed they got that tree done.
The only real negative that some people might complain about was the gashes in my yard from them using a crane to pick up the wood. To those people I say, "then you get out there and help them load those bits by hand!" These were logs! A few gashes in my yard is the smallest price to pay for excellent service.
If we ever need tree work done again, I will not hesitate to call them first. Nor should you.

We needed a special tree cared for and another completely removed. They came in, worked quickly and carefully. They took the time to prep the areas for their trucks to not leave ruts in our yard. First time using them and they exceeded my expectations! They removed an old dead tree quickly and cleaned the area better than expected! They also did some tree pruning on an old elm that needed some expert attention. They took extra time to make sure to do the best for us and the old tree. They took extra time to lay down wood boards to drive equipment on so that our property looked like it did before they arrived. The cleanup crew were amazing and made my property actually look better than it did before they arrived! I would feel confident in recommending them for any tree issues and will be using them again in the future!

Trees by Jake did an excellent job of pruning my decades old Mulberry tree near by house. They cleared out all the dead wood, thinned the canopy as needed, cleared the limbs over my roof and cleared all the service lines coming to my house as well as my next door neighbor's. Steven and the rest of the crew were very professional and cleaned up every bit of debris from my yard. I think the cost was very reasonable compared to the amount of work these guys did. I highly recommend Trees by Jake.

They did a great job trimming my trees. They had clear guidelines about how to prepare for the job (e.g., where to not park so they could access the site, coordinating with any affected neighbors). The office staff and foreman kept me informed throughout the process from scheduling through the actual job. After they left, a neighbor came by to get info about them as he was impressed how quickly they did the job and how thoroughly they cleaned up all the limbs when they left.

UPDATE: Trees by Jake did a great job again. My large pecan tree cracked after the bad storm around Father's Day. It wasn't noticeable for awhile but one day I heard the tree creaking in the wind. I called Trees by Jake and they sent someone over to find out why it was creaking. They found the crack and said it could be cabled to save the tree or taken down. I opted to have it taken down for safety given its proximity to the road and house. They put a temporary rope in place to stabilize the crack until they could take it down as they were swamped with other jobs from the storm. When they came back a few months later to take the tree down they had the right equipment (bucket truck and grapple hook) and safety gear (bright clothes, hard hats, headsets to coordinate between the workers). They were nice and professional keeping me informed of what they would be doing and when.

We couldn't be happier with the work on our massive tree. Not only did they do an excellent job with the tree itself, but their cleanup was also impeccable – everything is back to normal, if not better! We highly recommend this company for their professionalism and results.
