They did lousy sloppy work in my house and on my property with me having to only call and call and call for there to be no answer as there is a leak where they did work and the sump pump is right against my house so the water doesn't go anywhere and the sump pump runs non stop but like I said I can't get a hold if them ???? To be fair Ralph did come back and redirect the drain pipe for the sump pump but for a fee.

My sump pump broke during a heavy rain day. They came and replaced it very quickly and efficiently. The service techs were very knowledgeable, considerate and friendly. Would definitely recommend this business. They saved the day!!!!!

I called on a Friday morning after being given this number by a friend. We had not only ONE toilet break, but TWO within days of each other. After seeing that their next appointment was a week away, Ralph not only fit us in, but he even came back twice. I can’t even describe how grateful I am for these guys. THIS OUTFIT IS THE LOWEST OF LOW.... BASICALLY HE LEFT THE WATER HEATER HALFWAY INSTALLED!!! NOR DID HE TELL US THE UNIT NEEDED TO BE FLUSHED OUT EVER YEAR!!! HE Left us with no way to flush the unit at all becaused it needed more plumbing done. We asked him to install a tankless waterheater 12 years ago AND charged us $1200. The water hearter was installed BUT not completed. There was no way to FLUSH it out every year. The units need to be cleaned out because of the deposits left on the heating coils. We were fortunate enough to be able to use it for 12 years until it got so plugged we having a very difficult time keeping the warm water flowing to our shower OR it would just shut off while you stood in the cold water. J. Muro IS A DISGRACE to plumbers!!

The two men who came were very professional and explained what they were doing along the way. I have not had a clogged drain problem in 20 yrs but I think clogs had been building up and finally would only allow a very slow drainage. They worked diligently, even digging out the snow to get to the crawl space to see the fixtures. They finally said the toilet would have to be taken off (I don't have a clean out) when suddenly the last clog let go (I could actually hear the sound of water going through) and then all was well. They padded back and forth to the bathroom in their sock feet, not leaving any kind of mess. They had the knowledge and the right equipment (and there was no smoke break). Would call them again but hope I don't have to. LOL Many thanks.

Great efficient service. The 2 technicians on site were very friendly and helpful and also aware of keeping their work area clean as well as the area in the home. They were called to change 2 gas fittings on the dryer and oven.

We moved into the area in 2015 after purchasing our cottage. Joe's team open's and closes cottage routinely every year since then. Needed their help for emergency repairs and they were right there with quality work crew getting us back up and running. Awesome contractor to work with. J. Muro has done all of our HVAC and Plumbing work over the 5 years we have lived in Fort Erie. Ralph and the Team are always on time and have done excellent work. I even have my Furnace on an annual Maintenance and Warranty Plan with them. Highly Recommended!

Tough to give an accurate review. The plumbers that came were fantastic and really knew their trade. Estimator arrived first then called and was able to fit us in. Work was replacement of old shower drain and trap. A tricky job but they did great work. My issue and why I gave 2 stars is the billing. I recorded the service call at 3hrs and was billed 4. When I spoke with owner (Joe) via mail he explained I was also paying for the local travel time (5km in-town) and that added 1hour, which doesn't make sense or add up. Especially since I'd used Muro in the past for furnace service and was not charged for the 5km drive to and from my house. Joe also explained that he "didn't charge me" for the estimate...despite that being advertised as free on their website. Estimator took 10mins to look at pipes. At $115 per hour I was essentially overcharged and I've never heard of someone charging me travel time especially locally. Good work, great plumbers but the owner's billing practices are somewhat questionable. Be sure to get everything in writing in advance and ask about whether you will pay travel time of employee. Update: After some discussion with the owner he agreed to reduce the travel time by 1/2 (to 30mins), so this was deducted form my bill. A decent gesture in the end but this required my persistence. Repair continues to hold.

Hire J Muro!!!!!!! They saved the day and helped our business get back up and running. J came to meet us immediately upon calling him. He was friendly and empathetic and super efficient. Also Kara in the office was so helpful and friendly. I would call them in a heart beat if I need something again. Good company to have in your corner
