Plantscape did a fabulous job! We wanted a unique "Canadiana" design of which John spent a lot of time with us developing and tweaking the plan until it was perfect. The workmen were first-rate, efficient , attended to detail, and friendly. The results were spectacular! We have received multiple accolades from neighbours and passers-by. We are very happy that we chose Plantscape and would highly recommend them.

They made a mess of my property while working on my neighbors projects. When I contacted them about cleaning up and repairing damage turf they blamed their contractor. Refused to do any work to fix damage until the next year. Then finally showed up beyond good growing season and put a little seed and soil down.
It still looks horrible. They didn't tamp or do any true repair.
I have not used them myself. And from this experience would stay well clear of them and tell anyone I know not to even bother. Judging by other reviews and the way they treat clients who aren't satisfied- they know just how in the wrong they are and don't care.
Many companies in Windsor worth your money and time and will treat you with respect.

My wife and I were introduced to Liana and her team at Plantscape Windsor days after moving to Belle River in May. We had an extensive backyard reno to be done which involved landscaping, drainage, grading, stone work, fencing, irrigation, electrical rough in, and Synlawn turf. We also had Liana and Dawn pick out 5 custom planters for us for each season. Liana’s team, Dawn, John, Randy, Ryan, and Chris did an amazing job and were very helpful and accommodating to our requests and did an amazing job. Ryan and Chris always made sure to clean up the work
site every day and went above and beyond with their professionalism and knowledge of their work. They were very much concerned whether I was 100% happy with their work, from the positioning of a retaining wall, to the type of brick cut we preferred. They are 100% serious about their craft and it is obviously a labour of love of theirs. We are having the team by again soon to assist us with our Christmas lights and will have them back in the New Year and years to come for more projects. Thank you Liana, Dawn, John, Randy, Ryan , and Chris for all your help, advice, and hard work. It is very much appreciated.

John was very helpful with suggestions to “refreshing “ our front yard. When the crew, who were very polite, was working John came by several times to make sure it was what we wanted. The work was completed exactly the way we wanted. We have and will recommend Plantscape to all who are looking for a terrific job.

We are very happy with the work we had done. John was a pleasure to work with, great ideas and generally very helpful. From design to installation, everything went beautifully. The crew worked hard and were very courteous. They cleaned up when finished which was a bonus for us.

We had Plantscape come to clean out our very overgrown plantbeds and put in some new plants to replace some that were not very healthy. They were on time, efficient and we were extremely happy with the work they did. When John first came to give us an estimate, he was very knowledgeable and gave us different options for ways to complete the project. We would highly recommend this company and their friendly, knowledgeable staff.

I have hired Plantscape to complete various projects this year. I was very pleased to see how patient they were with me when I had a ton of questions regarding what I was hoping to do at my home. They were very knowledgeable, respectful and again patient. They made sure that I understood absolutely everything I would need to expect to see the projects through to completion. Another thing I liked was that all of their employees were in Plantscape uniform so my neighbours (who kind of watch my place while I work my 13 hour days) knew that it was my hired professionals on my property and not just some unknown. Not to mention, after listening to me and my plans, they remembered that I had a back yard party planned for a specific date and went out of their way to call me the day after the party to see how the party went on my new putting green turf. That is exceptional service, in my books. My friends could not stop gushing about the amazing job on my 5 hole putting green, chipping area and stone work. I owe it all to Plantscape. I highly recommend Plantscape to anyone who is considering doing any work that they specialize in doing.

Great quality and variety of plants, professional service, and very friendly. From planning to installation, everything was well communicated and collaborated on.

When we decided to add lighting part way through the planning process, adjustments were made without needing to delay the start of the project. We were regularly checked in with at various points of the project to ensure we were happy with the placement of plants, boulders, and trees. All sod came in and was installed the same day to ensure nothing browned.

All around, a great company to work with will recommend them to everyone.

From start to finish, Plantscape provides exceptional and dependable service. John Nowak, Senior Estimator, is professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. Alex and crew arrived early and they worked hard to complete the job in a timely way. Significantly as well upon finishing their work they ensured that they collected all waste. Alex is kind, courteous, attentive to details (aesthetic and functional), and considerate. Upon arrival, Alex clearly communicated their plans in advance of starting the work and checked in with me as their work progressed.

Working with Alex and crew was a pleasure. They were professional, friendly, hardworking, efficient and tidy. We are thrilled with their work. The positive rapport, between Alex and his crew made the experience: Pleasant, smooth, collaborative, flexible and simultaneously meticulous. What was also lovely is that Alex and crew enjoyed the company of our curious pup, Pippin.

I wish there was more stars to give. Having worked with many contractors for numerous things in and around my home, I feel like I am constantly just waiting to see what I’m going to be disappointed about but the Plantscape team has certainly proven that great companies still exist.

From beginning to end, they were professional, honest with their advice and completed the entire job incredibly quick! They even brought in a water truck when done to wash everything down, including the road! I’ve never seen that and my neighbors thank you!

John was always available when contacted and Chris the lead on this job and his crew were amazing. I was even a little sad when they packed up the wheelbarrows because they truly were a pleasure to see everyday.

It’s not by luck that a local family business has been around for over 40 years. You have to be good! Plantscape, thank you so much for helping us achieve our dream backyard.

Our experience with Plantscape has been outstanding. We started with a Landscape design and they worked closely with us to ensure we liked the plants chosen. They even brought pictures of the individual plants for us to see. Their team was here for about a week doing this large install and they were professional, courteous and polite. We used both their recommendations for landscape lighting and irrigation and both parties were equally as good. I have recommended them to colleagues and friends.

Had patio stones installed a few years ago by Plantscape and were extremely happy with the work. We decided to expand the patio so had them come back. There were some issues which they would come back and address but not all were resolved as they ignored the last time we reached out. However we are satisfied with the end result.

I'm very pleased with the work done in my backyard. John got back to me the next day with a quote and then came to view the site. He made some excellent suggestions and the job was done for less than the estimate. Before they left, they fixed my back gate that didn't close properly and didn't even mention it. It's nice to deal with a company with integrity.

5 stars just isn’t enough. Our front and backyard has never looked better. Between the edging, trimming and cutting it literally looks like a golf course… I could look out the window all day.

After having my front landscaping replaced in Spring 2025, one plant, yellow Coreopsis, shriveled up and Plantscape agreed to replace with the same plant(I thought). They didn’t have the same plant, didn’t tell me and planted a different plant of a different color. It also died and in August I asked to have it replaced with a yellow coreopsis. They “couldn’t find” one so I found the plant on a nursery website and confirmed in stock. I advised Plantscape and weeks went by with no action and one unacceptable response to my several emails. These plants were guaranteed for one year; and not only did Plantscape not fulfill their obligation, they ignore emails and requests to correct their error. Follow up in late October, I was told they “put me on the calendar” for April 2026.
Total spent, just short of $4,000. Plantscape is quick to expect their money and in my case, uncooperative and unresponsive. I do not recommend this business.

The team showed up promptly and got the job underway. Removed the sod and put down a layer of new top soil. Sod arrived early the next morning and was laid quickly. The yard was rolled and watering began. The team did a great job and were friendly and efficient. I am sorry i didn't get any of their names. Very pleased. Thank you
