Apparently my landlord had a deal with the city to have metro plumbing install something (for free) to keep sewage from coming up the pipes into my apartment prior to me moving in. Not sure why it wasn't done before I moved in. Landlord blames metro and metro blames landlord for not responding. 8 months after moving in my basement was filled with sewage and landlord told me to contact metro. Called metro and they told me their tale of dealing with the landlord not responding (this is true to my experiences with my slumlord) and said they would be at my place within two days ( called them Sat said they could be here monday) if my landlord called them to confirm the work. Landlord did call them to approve over the weekend. Called metro Monday and was told I would be called back. Called again tues after no call back and was told the same. Went to their store in person on the Wednesday and they had no record of my calls and after a lot of convincing finally booked me for the following Monday. Showed up the following Monday and did work that the city had to approve before they finished. I was told to call them when the city had signed off. I did as directed and then was called by metro hr's later asking me why I hadn't called. Showed them proof I had called and then they bumped me a day to finish the work. They did a good job as far as my plumbing understanding goes. The fact I had to hound them to get a response, even mid job, is something homeowners should be wary of when considering this company.

Would definitely recommend. Service is great. Owner was incredibly helpful in getting me set up. He arranged for Chris to come to the house when things got too complex, billing was incredibly fair.

Hired Danny, for a job at my business, he was really responsive and suggested frankly what should be done, very effective and his prices were reasonable.

I will definitely hire him again if I have any issue related to plumbing

We went into Metro Plumbing today and had the best experience dealing with the Manager, David..Looking at shower heads etc for our new bathroom. He took the time with us and he was very informative. Thank you Dave!!

George came today to replace the expansion tank in our condo and did a wonderful job. He was efficient installing it and cleaned up afterwards. Thanks to Dave and the staff for their help and time spent on the phone.

Not reliable at all! No plumber from this company showed up on my appointment day. I took time off work, went home, waited for over an hour, and no body showed up , so I called the company again. Turned out they didn't tell my appointment to any plumber. Then they sent a plumber out to my house after I called, the plumber came in and looked at the site, said he was going to send me a quote, and I never heard back from him.

Previous owner of my building paid almost $10,000 for a new boiler that I now am having problems with it 2 yrs later and they never show up when they say as in a month later I call and call. They need to put in some new rads and won't get back to me again. I would not suggest you use them if you are in business they are 10o% unreliable and don't care your customers are cold.

Contacted them for a hot water tank check up and installation and was told to wait for the response. Waited couple days and called back to follow up, still was told to wait. Called again a week later to follow up, the lady told me there's nothing she could do but waiting, and she sounded like I was being annoying. Actually she sounded very unprofessional the whole time, very rude. Feel this company is totally lack of management. Will never call them again.

I called Metro Plumbing and Heating on a recommendation of a friend. I visited their location on Dunn St. and was very impressed with the staff. Dave as well as the other employees were very knowlegable, and professional . They didn't hesitate to go the "extra mile". It was decided that i needed to have a plumber come to the house. As it turns out my main drain was plugged. Frank the plumber was quickly able to identify the problem with expertise and how to avoid it in the future. The quality of the work was excellent. The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this company and will definately be calling them again in the future.

I've known owner John Gualtieri and his daughter Tonina and the late Dave for over 40 years. They do high quality honest work! I would highly recommend them for your plumbing and decorating needs.

I went here to replace a leaking hose in my kitchen faucet. The gentleman behind the counter spent quite a bit of time trying to help me find the correct replacement part. The end result was.. After he realized my faucet was made by Delta, he suggested that I call them directly because their faucets are warrantied for life.
I did just that and the company helped me find what I needed. They are shipping what I need "free of charge". And that would not have happened otherwise. Most other businesses would have probably tried to sell me a new faucet set.
Metro Plumbing never made a dime. But better, they made a trusting friend.

Called them for help with a toilet hook up and they were able to come the next day which I was surprised they were able to come so fast. We were expecting a big bill but it wasn't, that just topped it off. Would recommend their service was great and fast. No disappointment here!

We needed to have a sump pump replaced and Mike and Eric came and installed it very quickly for us. They were not only professional, but friendly and helpful and even fixed a toilet while they were there. The company is very busy and they apologised that we had to wait for a week for our appointment. Rather than risk finding someone 'quick' to do the job, we are glad we waited and know that it was done properly. We will definitely continue to call Metro for our plumbing and heating needs! Thanks guys!

Had a humidifier installed on our furnace by George and was very pleased with the quality service! Was told it would take 3 hours, but only took 2 hours, great for us!! Thank you to Dave and Tonina for the great service!! I would highly recommend Metro Plumbing & Heating for all your heating and plumbing needs!

Called to make an appointment and said would receive a call. Had to follow up a week later. I would highly not recommend this place. Barely looked at the issue and used all of my equipment without asking while being on the phone most of the time. Did not even step in the shower and pushed the work on to us.

Excellent service and pricing. They answered the phone on my first attempt to call (cannot say that for another plumbing company I tried to contact), and the person on the other end of the phone was friendly and helpful. The plumbers showed up on time on the day of the appointment. I had two outdoors taps replaced and a kitchen faucet fixed for a leak. The work was done quickly and professionally. I am so pleased with their finished work. And the icing on the cake was the price, which was more than reasonable! Thank you so much Metro plumbing! You've earned my loyalty as a customer.

Chris, Quinn, and their apprentice were fabulous. They are the best plumbers I have ever had at my place. Their dedication to their customers was second to none. They had a difficult job and they worked tirelessly to get it done for us. They were so neat and tidy. Thank you guys for all your service.
