Worked with Jayden and his crew on his first project. The team did a great job, installing patio, irrigation, in ground Hot Tub, pea stone, steps, concrete pads, landscape lighting. Trees and shrubs including 2 maple, 6 prince oaks and over 70 cedars. Built a fence and gate. Also cuts and maintained my lawn during the course that I owned the property. Super easy and efficient team.

The work was done in a timely manner and executed well according to our plans and vision. We are very pleased with the Seven Oaks Landscaping team and their work and highly recommend them!

Your properties look like garbage this winter. You should feel bad about yourselves. Accessible spots left caked, entire plaza looks like you threw salt on half a foot and called it a day.

I recently used Seven Oaks Landscaping for sand delivery and landscaping services, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. They did a professional job, delivering the sand promptly and completing the landscaping with efficiency. Their customer service was excellent throughout the process. Highly recommend!

I have been quite disappointed with their service and lack of respect over the phone with customer service. Unfortunately, my garbage has not been picked up over the last 4 weeks. When I called and asked them
To pick up my garbage this week I was laughed at on the phone and told it was not possible. I was told that’s impossible as only recycling can be picked up this week. I was told to wait another week to get waste removal of my garbage

I would like to clarify that my garbage has not been picked up on a biweekly basis for the last 2 cycles for a total of 4 weeks.

This is is not a reliable service in my perspective and experience

I think an apology at the end of the day would be sufficient, rather than this response

Giving Sykes' Soil Yourself 5/5 before I even pick up my yard of compost from them, because the wow starts when you call the main number, and it's Jeff Sykes' *direct phone.* I left a message saying I was looking for a yard of compost and some advice, and figured I might hear back within a week (if ever), while he favoured his $80K-project clients. Well, didn't Jeff himself call back within five minutes, and proceed to wax rhapsodically about compost. No joke, we talked about it for 15 minutes, and he was passionate and informative throughout. Absolutely no shade was thrown when I said I'd borrow a truck and pick up the compost, thus depriving him of his delivery fee. Even if the compost isn't the garden gold I believe it will be, the service alone deserves the stars.

After a huge snowstorm, our regular snow plow crew was unable to clear our parking lot because of a broken plow. After two days of almost non-stop plowing for his regular customers and hardly any sleep, Jeff came and cleared it for us himself. Thanks so much to Sykes Landscaping for an amazing job done!

Its a shame that the owner of this company replies to a concerned citizen that was awoken in a building with 8 other residents in a way that is both disgusting and extremely ignorant!!!!

His company decided that it was a good idea to use an extremely loud leaf blower at 2:50AM to blow light snow away from an empty parking lot which would remain empty until 8:00 AM. When he was made aware of this he replied with" Perhaps you could do yourself a favor and find a hobby instead of complaining about hardworking individuals offering a service to keep the community safe and cleared" Not only is This company using a piece of equipment that is illegal (By-law 2005 - 73, By-law 2007-28 and By-law 2014-155
NOISE CONTROL BY-LAW
To prohibit and regulate noise in the City of Niagara Falls.
WHEREAS section 129 of the Municipal Act, 2001 (the "Act") authorizes councils of local
municipalities to pass by-laws to prohibit and regulate with respect to noise; )in a very highly populated residential area out of the bylaw timing but he's acknowledging his ignorance instead of just scheduling his crew to do it at 7 or 8:00 AM when the parking lot is still empty. I guess with his reply he's insinuating that other Air individuals in that area aren't hard working. I guess that out of the eight residents that were woken up in the morning that all had to leave at 6:00 AM to go to their jobs aren't hardworking people......

Sykes Landscaping transformed our empty backyard into a lovely, inviting and functional outdoor space this spring. Pippa’s design was brilliant. She has given us an outdoor area that we enjoy being in and entertaining friends. Pete and his crew arrived on the scheduled day and professionally completed the work on schedule. They were obliging, tidy and executed all aspects with a high level of quality. All debris was removed, our house and property was washed down and left in a condition that would have allowed us to entertain as soon as they completed. Mark and the staff at Timber Frame provided beautiful Douglas Fir archways, a gabled gazebo and raised bed vegetable gardens that were key elements of the design.
The entire experience was pleasant and no surprises, presented themselves. A couple of additions were made to the scope of the work and we feel that Jeff treated us more than fair. We were under some time constraints prior to signing the contract, so we didn’t shop around much but the project with the extent of the excavation, preparation and foundation work, made it seem as a good value. In the end, we were satisfied with the expenditure.
We would recommend Sykes Landscaping without any hesitation.

We had a substantial amount of upgrades done to our home in Old Town Niagara on the Lake in 2023. The work done by Sykes Landscaping that fall was the largest investment; and it turned out beyond our expectations. It was a very stressful time for us, but our experience with Sykes was really pleasant. You could tell the team genuinely cared that we were happy, even more than a year after completion (thanks Pippa and Joanne!). During the job, I would often see Jeff (the owner) come by our job, long after his team had left for the day. The foreman on our job, Peter, was always great to see every day while having my morning coffee. I could ask him any questions or concerns that I had, and he would always answer all of them in a positive way. Seeing almost our entire property torn up for weeks can be stressful, but this helped a lot. Strangely, I kinda missed everyone when the job was done…because I knew I was in great hands while the work was happening. Sykes will be our choice for future projects!

We had Sykes Landscaping design and build new steps, walkway and gardens around an home addition in rear yard. Pippa, their designer came up with a great design and worked with Jeff and us to tweak it. The Sykes crew arrived when scheduled. They were all extremely hard working and very polite and respectful. The job was finished on time and on budget. We are very pleased and would recommend Sykes Landscaping.

We contracted Sykes Landscaping to redo our back deck and patio and turn it into a raised patio and lower patio. We also wanted our front yard updated.

Jeff Sykes Team is amazing from Pippa, the landscape architect, to Joanne, the horticulturalist and Peter, Site Supervisor and his build team.

The design, plantings and construction were truly the best! We have an amazing finished raised and lower patio and beautiful front yard.

The project was completed on time and on budget and any out of scope items identified immediately and priced accordingly.

We would hire Sykes again to do any further work on our property and recommend them to anyone who wants landscaping done both hard and soft scaping.

Great soil delivered for my flower beds , Jeff was super fast at getting it delivered from the time of ordering soil to the time of delivery was under 2 hours. The soil is very clean and is great quality. Highly recommend this family run business for all your soil needs. Will definitely be ordering from here again if I need more soil in the future.
