  It is so nice to see women getting into the trades! Ideal Plumbing sent Rebecca to replace my outside fouset and put a shut off inside the house. She gave us her background and that see has been a plumber for 4 years and loves it! I asked for copper line instead of the new style line they use. She was more than happy to install it, and actually prefers using it! A professional for sure!

  After my water heater went kaput on a Saturday and getting the run around from Enercare for 4 days to convert to a rental from the one I owned and then having them suggest I would have to wait another 5 days to bring equipment they didn't realized I needed, I reached out to Ideal. Less than 24 hours after placing my initial call, I had a new water heater that required exterior venting and hot water finally! From their friendly and efficient dispatcher, to the 3 men who came to my home (Nick, Tom and Isaac) who were extremely professional, they worked quickly (1 hour and they were done). A stressful situation was turned around in the blink of an eye, and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. Thank you!

  **Recent Update:** Wow, you responded to my review after a year?? I understand that I am the second property owner, and I have not mentioned that in my reviews. It would have been a different case if I weren't able to use my warranty. However, my main concern is how difficult it was for you to provide an estimate or quote for the installation. I can see that you weren't able to get a warranty money which is why you wanted to scam me by not giving any estimate. Isn't that your responsibility? I also mentioned the issue regarding the fuse price. I would appreciate it if you had read my whole review and responded to those concerns. Why didn't you contact me last year if you were right from the beginning? **Concern:** My name was mentioned on June 4th. Reviews should accurately reflect customer satisfaction and the treatment received. Please read this before mentioning my name anywhere. There is no tolerance for those who are merely trying to flatter. There must be a reason why Ideal has not responded to my review, as you can see. I am confident that my review could now positively influence their service. **Review from November 2024:** You charged me $346.91 simply for changing the fuse. No further tests were performed during the first visit. After just 5 minutes, the system broke down again, and I had to call twice to figure out what happened because I knew the fuse had never been an issue. During the second visit, the technician discovered that my compressor was broken and needed to be ordered. Legally, I should receive a refund since, as I mentioned earlier, the fuse was fine. I went without my air conditioner for three months during the summer while waiting for the new compressor. When I finally received my compressor, I requested a quote, but Lindsay refused to provide a price, claiming that you were trying to charge me unnecessarily. According to my conversation with Lindsay, several steps were required to complete the repair, including uninstalling the unit from my home, transporting it to your shop for repairs, and then reinstalling it. After reinstalling the unit, it would need to be tested through a cycle. I was shocked. Does that really sound like a simple day's work? When I asked for an estimate, she said she couldn't provide one. Can you imagine they have a labour charge of $163 + HST per hour? I could have wasted $1,500 to $2,000 for no reason. At that point, I sensed a red flag and decided to go with another company, which saved me a lot of money. The ironic part is that when I mentioned finding someone else to fix it, Lindsay wouldn't let me have my compressor back. She insisted that if I didn't choose your company, I would have to be billed for the invoice. I couldn’t possess my own compressor because I am not a technician. Eventually, after examining my furnace, we discovered that the compressor was not the issue. The technician informed me that it was functioning properly, and there was a minor problem fixed for under $200. Now, my furnace is running effectively. Thank you for your unprofessional services. **Note:** I would like to rate you a zero, but unfortunately, that isn't an option. Customers are aware of what you're doing; we are not naive. Anyone giving a 5-star review seems to be insincere. I am convinced they are merely flattering you.
